In my experience, staying in the same job never results in promotions or significant increases in pay. It’s best to get the experience then seek better pay and promotions by applying for another job.
I got into tech 2.5 years ago but given all the junior positions for higher level tech positions than mine have requirements that were for mid level 2 years ago, I am considering to back off and look for something else.
The economy is not rebounding they’re only saying this lie because they don’t want people to panic and demand for which will force people in higher positions to lose money, and to pay people. Do you know the gap between owners, board members and CEOs? We’re talking billionaires here
