Just fitted the one I received from Mud. Very pleased with it so far. Wiring is reasonably straightforward, but there’s a lot to cram in behind the unit, so some care has to be taken. I like the fact that you can now get all of the vehicle data on the unit that wasn’t previously available on pre-2012 pumas. All seems to work fine. A couple of notes, just to save some pain, when you remove all of the standard switches, mark up the loom as you do it. It makes figuring out which goes where so much easier. The trickiest part was the ODB link cable. It would help if the loom supplied was longer between the plug and the new socket. You have to kinda double it back to get the new socket in place, and it’s tight. But of setting up still to do, but happy so far 👍👍

Is there anything stopping two additional vents being placed into the angled vertical panels either side of the central console?
My defender is a 2008 xS, it has the original Land Rover radio. Do I need any adapters at all?

What happens to the AC vent is it cancelled?
A trade-off for the larger screen is you lose the air vents (and the clock) on top of the exiting fascia. The HEIGH10 screen has a clock displayed in the corner of the screen whenever the unit is turned on and when we tested the prototype unit in 30+ temperatures in central Spain, there was no noticeable lack of air-con effectiveness.
Adding the ISO plug - does this provide any of the fancy tech instruments (rpm, temp, incline etc) I have a Puma 2007.
The latest version of the Heigh10 includes an OBD module that's now compatible with the earlier Defenders with the 2.4Tdci that allows it to display the Vehicle Info. The kit also includes a harness to connect into the factory ISO audio connections found on the earlier cars.
does this work on older defenders that have been upgraded to the Puma dash?
It will fit into any 'Puma dashboard' but you will not be able to connect into any of the OBD functionality found on the later cars.

I installed a Stinger Heigh10 like you on my LAND ROVER DEFENDER TD4 like you
However, I encounter a problem, I do not have the “vehicle information” icon with rev counter, counter, temperature, inclination, etc. Etc
I plugged into the OBD socket, behind the meter, but then there is only a small black box, but no wire from this OBD harness plugged into the Stinger??
I contacted Stinger but they tell me it doesn't work on DEFENDERS
I also have another problem, the image from my reversing camera is not correct, when a car passes on my left, I see it on my right on the screen, I would have to flip the image horizontally.
Finally on which wire of the Stinger should I connect the cable which automatically triggers the camera, I connected the video cable, the power supply, it works but I have to connect the automatic trigger cable
Could you explain to me if it is a connection problem, if so which one or version of the HEIGH10

Like you, I installed a Stinger Heigh10 on my defender TD4.
I see in your video towards the end that the pitch and roll are not calibrated and that you do not have a compass, nor altimeter, nor GPS position.
Since you made this video, has it worked?
If so, could you explain to me how you went about calibrating.
I'm in contact with a super nice and super competent person from Stinger. I'm struggling a bit but little by little I'm going to get there.
I noticed on your video that you had your fuel gauge which I personally don't have, I have to see with the Stinger person if there is a way to add it.
this person also sent me by email version V12 for updating via a USB key.

HI Michel, our Heigh10 is in full working order. There were some issues at the beginning of the roll-out which have now been resolved. I'm sure Stinger will help you to get the full compatibility.
