Well 15 bucks or higher, and they do go higher in price, for a pen is not really smart considering how easy it is to loose a pen. I used a pilot G2 07mm took the ink refill out. They smear anyway. Put the 5 dollar Fisher refill in it. The Parker adapter need cut a little smaller like 1 or 2 mm. And it works fine. Plus it a clicker. The Fisher space pen that's a clicker is like 22 bucks. That's insane considering how easy it is to lose. But the refill mostly fits in any refillable pens that fit a Parker style refill.
Fair point if you live in the states. Here in Australia everything has been marked up and postage direct from the states is ridiculous. The cheapest spacepen I can get here is $20 (their crapiest plastic model) and I'm not putting a $20 pen in my survival kit LOL. I got some refills for $2 on clearance so hence made my own pens :)
Great idea and thanks for sharing. 👍
Yep, I've used the James Bond style Parker Stainless Steel Jotter click pen with the Fisher refill on my job for years! Love it.
Should have used the Parker adapter and had a full sized pen.
That's what i was thinkin'
Neat, I guess attaching the cap to the end would extend the length of the pen too, just like the bullet.
