Ivory-billed Woodpecker: Drifting through the 2006 Hot Zone

I obtained this video footage along English Bayou in the Pearl River swamp on March 27, 2006. Coming into view at 2:30 is the area where Ivory-billed Woodpeckers were observed five times the month before. There were many fallen trees in the area, which took a direct hit by Katrina on August 29, 2005.

The purpose of this video is to show the habitat in an area where Ivory-billed Woodpeckers had been observed, but it was obtained more than two weeks after the last sighting.
