To keep it 100%, Gamb has made all the summer band grow up into men and women. And also put pressure even on the directors pen game. They changed summer band and making these band to try and reach a college sound. FACTS😂

It’s been a lot of delusion from people who weren’t there. Especially the New Orleans fans. NOASB is not small at all. They’re just smaller than GAMB. NOASB was very loud in person. Yet GAMB was even more powerful and more full. Playing whole and half notes isn’t a negative as long and the notes get executed. NOASB did wayyy better in this battle than they did last year and people are thinking that makes them the winner. This was an even battle because GAMB had more power but NOASB had better and more complex arrangements. Harry Potter was the best arraignment that day. But Jungle was fye too

To answer noasb trumpets. Here in our city we have brass bands and live music everywhere. We have some big dogs on trumpet that just can't make it to practice because they gig almost everyday of the week. That includes tubas and trombones. The whole 1st row of trumpets were highschoolers and they held it down. That Harry Potter song was a sight readable song 😂 and noasb answered with a rap tune with more moving parts. Noasb for the win. #DDDS

OMG!!!! I was there on the 50 yard line! Gamb was eaten, had desert and left a tip to New Orleans! Gamb arrangement are original and displays everything! New Orleans seem to have fixed there issues from last year. There trumpets needed some milk…no cap and trombone presence was down from last year. There performance was good but you can see on there faces like they didn’t care for a lot of the arrangements they played. They play a lot of SU book . But it doesn’t sound as good or better. It seems like every band shaved the fat off to become a little better this week.

GAMB's 6th roumd was the song of the night followed by the Harry Potter. They had the best two songs, but I agree that NO won the battle. Seemed like they were both taking every other round off.

Hands down to both bands! F what all the naysayers are saying but I’m glad GAMB blows the hell out of a whole, half, quarter, eighth and sixteenth notes. I bet any other arranger, producer or even some other musicians appreciate them. You’ll find those whole and half notes when someone plays the piano or guitar along with the melodies. Blow they ass back across the Mississippi River and Lake Pontchartrain!

Funny review and everyone has their opinion but the clips vs being there directly in front of GAMB on the track the energy, power, etc is night and day. But that’s just MY opinion. The CULTURE won & cheers to summer band! #GAMB #BigMuscle💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾🎉🎉🎉🎉

@@KBThaBandhead A1 clips are on point always to me, I’m saying overall with the impeccable quality of A1, Lamiks, KillaKev, etc they all sound good BUT it’s no comparison to being in person sound/energy wise. GAMB was more powerful & pushing watts.
just how you feel about standing directly infront them on the track….. is the complete opposite of why we say they wasnt pushing for they numbers… them people prolly was loud yea to you being that you all on them…. 60 yards away, across the field we barely heard nothing BUT baritones and tubas when they played over the staff💯‼️

Could’ve been a tie if GAMB didn’t have a deduction
I like GAMB’s style more however this year wasn’t it. This battle and the Memphis battle was boring. That’s both bands. I’m not a huge NOLA fan because of their fans and playing style at times. But this year it’s like GAMB and NOLA swapped. NOLA had better arrangements while GAMB was keeping it simple. Next year GAMB will be back hopefully 😢
