I don't care if they lived in the Amish town, under a rock, in a tree, or in a cave somewhere in the Appalachian mountains, etc., as long as they lived within the boundaries of the USA, they need to be held accountable to the same laws of the country.
Yes true. Even in other countries. Incredible why would they not be sentenced. It's the first time I heard about the Amish having privileges over the law. I knew about the living style and all but didn't know that they was "set free" when guilty. Odd and unfair.
@@sheilafreund4214 tell it to the prosecutors? they are the ones with blood on their hands, they need to be held accountable, vote them out of office fire the judge, and seek real justice! i bet that little girl was raped many times after being put back in the same situation. in that case being raped again by the same ones that raped her before, who in your opinion is the criminals, are the real criminals the ones that put her back in the crime scene or the ones that physically abused her? i wish that she was a relative of mine, she would never have to fear again, i would teach her to stand alone against the greatest odds and do real physical damage to anyone trying anything with her and arm her to the teeth with high power weapons!
Never going to happen because the child molesters and rapists of our government would have to be arrested and thrown into there own privatized prisons and that will never happen . The amish have contracts with our government to let there sons not have to ever go to war like your and my son would have to . so ya .
The parents definitely need to be investigated! This girl should not be with these parents. The parents allowed the brothers back in the home. I simply can not believe this!
The DA and judge said “we felt that these 2 boys would be eaten alive in a real prison”. Ummmmm who the hell cares? What about a poor little girl being eaten alive in her own home? So disgusting! Everyone involved in this from the top down needs to be dealt with. The parents should be in jail! Now! They don’t care. That’s not even up for debate. If they didn’t know at first and were then only looking out for their victim daughter then maybe... but they let them move back into the home with the victim and the baby! I’ll never cease to stop being disgusted with the adults involved. Criminal brothers, criminal parents, horrendous DA and low IQ judge. WTF!?
@Yanina Etcheverry I agree. The DAs and the judges in these types of areas worry more about offending or upsetting the Amish communities so they do as little as possible and stay out of it. This type of behavior is common in those communities. The kids definitely were taught those criminal behaviors. I 100% believe in freedom of religion and freedom to live how you choose, AS LONG AS IT DOESN’T HARM ANYONE ELSE. They can’t claim their rights and use them to trample on other people’s same rights. Disgusting, depraved and evil behavior runs rampant in those back woods, uneducated, grotesque communities and someone needs to break it up and put a stop to it. There are a lot of sweet, innocent kids being used and targeted by those above them. They’re also mentally and emotionally abused with what they shove down their throats from infancy and how abnormally they force these kids to live. Someone needs to help other girls and all kids like this one before it’s too late for them too. How could they be allowed to keep that baby in that group? A defenceless baby! The sicko grandparents have the baby. It needs to be removed and placed with a good/normal family so maybe the kid has a chance at a decent life. The people in authority who turn a blind eye to all of this just to keep up public appearances are reprehensible and should have to answer for the poor/monstrous decisions they make. Stop letting children be hurt!!!!
What he meant by “eaten alive” was they would be raped. it’s ok for young girls and women to be locked up with their rapist but it’s not ok for the rapist to be locked up with “potential” rapists. The insanity in his statement reveals something evil about our justice system.
I was sold at the age of 7, to my cousin to keep the bloodline pure!! Yes this happens in Amish all the time, I'm free I left at 18yrs old and it's been the best damn decision
I agree. There’s no second chances for killers, which is how it should be. So why a second and sometimes third or fourth chance for rapists? There shouldn’t at all. Maybe making it a “one strike and you’re out” rule would prevent these types of offenders from ending up in positions of power over the rest of us where they can more easily abuse others without detection. Like local or state government or authority positions like CEOs or cops. They couldn’t lie about who they really are and be available for those jobs. They’d be in jail where they belong. Eighteen years ago I was assaulted by 3 college guys at once. I deal with it in my own way and I’m a happy person for the most part. Happily married 14 years to a wonderful man and 2 wonderful tweens. Couldn’t ask for more. But a few years ago I happened across a news article that said one of those three were running for local elections. It keeps me up at night now.
This incident of a twelve year old being raped, repeatedly, by four brother is horrendous beyond anything outside an active war zone. This is stomach churning. Those males should be JAILED!!!!
I am a 69-year-okd woman who was sexually assaulted at 7-yeae-old by a great uncle, raped by an acquaintance as a young woman, mentally abused by men and blamed for it by my sorority sisters. I am so glad that sexual abuse has been brought to light but I still don’t think enough is being done. By the way, I have resided in the Midwest most of my life
Bless you! for putting yourself out on this chat site. I too had been assaulted and raped by a close relative, at 7 years old. We now call the assault part "grooming", which sets-up kids (boys & girls) for the whole sexual act, even as young as 7 years old. Ugh! One word.. SICK!
Same here. I'm 64 and it happened.to me by neighborhood males and an acquaintance of the family more than once. I ended up with ALL kinds of mental health issues and I only got the proper help in my 50's. It was SO rampant back then but we didn't tell because the victims were blamed so none of us came forward. I told my mom in my 50's and she asked WHY I never said anything and I told her because it was always victim blaming back then
Same here. He was my stepdad’s perverted father and that family called me a liar when I finally talked about it at 12 years old. It happened so many times over the years starting when I was 5. It’s far too common that the surrounding community and family protects the abuser because it protects their sense of pride and self. It also doesn’t make it necessary to do emotional work when you blame victims and deny their experience. It’s not just enough to point out abusers. We have to point out the individuals and culture that enables abusers!
@@canniballistickatee9335 and still she said sex, and it can only be called sex when it’s consensual between two people over the age of whatever age it is legal for people to start having sex, like here in Sweden it is at age of 15, but it’s still called rape if a 15 year old have sex with a 40 year old. But yeah if that makes sense 🤔
Her parents should be charge too for neglect letting the brothers be at home after impregnating and birth of the child. Parents cannot claim they didn't know once the evidence came out. They are still neglecting the daughter's safe care & needs.
The kicker is that if the victim brings up the incident again that means they haven't "forgiven" and ends up getting punished worse than the perpetrator!
@@invaderhorizongreen8168Don't confuse forgiveness with excusing. To forgive means to "let go" and if you don't let go, your thoughts become a poison to you. It's for the benefit of the victim to release the offender from themselves. To do otherwise is to allow the enemy control over your mind and your life which will cause it to fester. The enemy wants nothing more than for us to hold onto bitterness but God knows what's best for us which is why He asks us to forgive others as He has forgiven us. To forgive is to release that evil from ourselves.

I’m from an ex-Amish family and grew up in the largest Amish community in the world (Holmes County, Ohio) and this is sickeningly frequent. Sexual abuse is ALWAYS suppressed in Amish families and the reputations of the abusers are ALWAYS prioritized above the justice and well-being of the victims. Unfortunately, I have first hand experience of this as well. Also… there will be NO justice back at home. There will be no consequences for them. There is NO kind of sex education at all and a lot of parents almost view this kind of action as a “learning” experience versus the assault and abuse that it is. Sweet Daisy should 100% be removed from that home.
I don't understand, I thought the Amish was like strict on following the Bible or something? (Am I wrong? And I mean I understand humans are sinners), but this is no small matter that the Scripture simply brushes aside (It doesn't) so why are they simply brushing that aside? And I'm sorry to hear all that you and these others have been through. God is a righteous and just Judge. Justice will be served.

DAISY NEEDS JUSTICE. SHE SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN PLACED BACK INTO THE AMISH COMMUNITY. WHAT COMPLETELY DISTURBS ME AS A VICTIM/SURVIVOR OF SEXUAL ABUSE IS THAT 1) SHE IS ONLY 12 YEARS OF AGE AND GOT PREGNANT BY ONE OF 4 OF HER OWN BROTHERS 2) SHE WAS VIOLATED IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE. OUR HOME IS SUPPOSED TO BE OUR SANCTUARY AND WE ARE SUPPOSED TO FEEL SAFE. I DO UNDERSTAND WHY A LOT OF VICTIMS DON’T SPEAK UP, HOWEVER THIS POOR CHILD HAS NOT EVEN LIVED LIFE YET AND NOW HAS A CHILD TO RAISE IN A VERY TOXIC FAMILY AND HOME. I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING DIFFERENT AMISH COMMUNITIES AND FROM WHAT I CAN SEE IS THEY MAKE THEIR OWN RULES, HAVE THEIR OWN POLICE AND COURT SYSTEMS. THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE AND I PRAY THAT DAISY WILL GET THE MUCH NEEDED HELP MENTALLY, PHYSICALLY AND EMOTIONALLY ALONG WITH JUSTICE. I ALSO AM WILLING TO SPEAK AND HELP IN WHICHEVER WAY I CAN.
You are misquoting Scripture and implying intentions that aren't stated. Please read the full passages for better understanding. God does not allow rape, in the Bible or elsewhere.
Having sex with your sister is not condoned by the bible, either Old Testament or New. I don't care if the boys are of diminished capacity, they know fornication is a sin. Very clear in the Bible. Not covered by the virgin rule paying the father and marrying the woman. This is INCEST, genetically damaging to that child. This is an Amish community that is flawed and should be shunned by all other Amish communities. The parents should be jailed for child abuse since their sect is not operating properly and are not implementing justice in their community. I am glad the brothers are in jail. That 13 year old child should should be moved to a different Amish community in another area-because her community is flawed. The baby should be given up for adoption, to give the girl a chance for a normal life. The baby needs to be put into a different gene pool to give their future children a chance to be normal, thus the adoption. Praying for justice for all🙏
As an abuse survivor, my heart breaks for this girl. My abuse started when I was a baby and continued even after I was in foster care. My adoptive family (who was also a foster family) got rid of a foster brother I had after they found out he was abusing one of the daycare girls in my mom's in home daycare. I was so afraid to tell them he also molested me because of the early years of abuse but I finally told my parents about the abuse when I was 18 and my mom and dad were so upset at my abusers and heart broken that I was afraid to tell them. They might have been adoptive parents but they raised me from the the age of 7 and were much better than my birth parents.
I'm a survivor. The abuse started when I was a child and lasted 10 years until my sister finally left the s.o.b. I saw where he finally died this summer. Good riddance. A whole lot of girls became a little more safer with him underground. He never served a day in jail. I wasn't his first or last victim.
I really like the fact that you are exposing these injustices against children. The perpetrators should go to jail because that is perhaps the only real deterrent.
In a word, religion. But it's a cult. And cults are dangerous. It's the real source of this crime since it happens over and again in these cults yet they apologize to this cult rather than the victim. Sickening.

The Amish community is very sheltered and this isn't anything new. This happens everyday in communities. It's only the cases you hear about, so imagine the things that go on behind closed doors and nobody finds out.
So true. I worked decades in the medical field. You REALLY start to see what goes on behind closed doors. Incest isn’t just a silent “Amish” secret. Small isolated rural communities tend to look the other way as well.
@Teresa B Yeah, it's been known that incest has been going on for centuries throughout the south of US, West Virginia and some other states, so it's nothing new for the US
All four brothers were abusing her. I guarantee that their father has been instrumental in aiding and abetting this behavior. That girl is not safe in that home. I hope she has been rescued from them.
The don’t have a big enough gene pool to not marry cousins. When they discover a birth defect they say it’s Gods will. There is a lot of little people in the Amish communities. Again, it’s Gods wil
Hey, this happens in the Mormon community too! First hand experience. And as the victim…. I was “punished”. It’s sick. These men are given wayyyyy to much power within these religions. And it’s hide, hide, hide, and if you ignore it, it will go away . Well I deal with it everyday STILL 30 years later.
Yep! Grew up in Utah. mormons tell the victims to stay quiet and they don't report anything to authorities. The mormons protect pedophiles. It's even worse with the polygamists.
Keeping power, sexual control, and secrets, means these men have been molesting/raping girls and women, without any interference, since they came to America. Perhaps that's why they ran here?
Grew up in a community too. This is unfortunately normal in these communities. I was abused sexually by my father for a long time and so was all my other sisters. I ran away when I turned 17 and never looked back. I turned my dad in and he got a slap on the hand. Put on the sex offenders list and let go.
I know that's not much but at least it's a validation in black and White print that it indeed happened and anyone can access the truth, Regardless of how much that pig denies it. ❤
This is heart breaking. I believe the father started abusing her first before the age of 12 and probably abused the brothers as well. Why else would they think its ok and admit to it. This poor girl needs justice and lots of help. They could harm that baby too. So sick and sad
I got hooked on these true crime videos and still shocked and disgusted. Fuckin A man...im staying put in my comfy home where my sweat pants will never hurt me.
It is possible? If so. It is not uncommon for incest to involve other family members to protect themselves from revelation. Not always the case though. Weak parents hide their shame and use abuse to control children. A crime family tactic. Still, parents must be charged with neglect, complict in the crimes for not reporting child abuse. They basically pimped out their daughter to control their sons if not participants themselves directly.
I remember telling my mom that I was molested by my 20 year old cousin and she called me a liar said that it never happened. I remember being ostracized by my own aunts and blaming me for telling a social worker, I remember my own aunt telling me it was all of my fault because I would flirt and I would run around and play wearing spongebob shorts. Minding you I was 9 years old I didn't even know what flirting was. Now as an adult I would just never ever do that to a child I would protect them and cherish them whatever that little girl is going through I feel her pain.
I’m so sorry. Your own mother didn’t believe you. I was molested by a family member. I remember the day I told mom. Because something happen the night before for her to say to me, “if (abusers name) ever does anything to you ..you tell me.” I said, “mommy, he already has..to me and (abusers step daughter). I’ll never forget her hurt for me...she cried. That part of the family doesn’t speak to us anymore, but I do sometimes the step daugther. I think the step Daugther’s mom did her like your mom did. Because she wouldn’t tell. He never spent a day in prison for it. But that’s okay, his time will come. If anyone ever steps forward..I will be there to back them up and hold their hand.
Bless you Arlene I am so sorry that you suffered, I had my own experiences as a child which led to debilitating mental health problems and 10 yrs in intensive therapy. I was luckier than many victims because my treatments were free.
There is no repentance if the community, parents, sons don’t feel that they have done anything wrong This is a generational practice Prayers for Daisy and other young girls and boys that are sexually assaulted
That Amish case is so disgusting. I can't believe this is an isolated case with that community, there's a lot probably going on there that goes unreported.
What will happen when the next child turns up abused and pregnant? I fear they won't allow proper medical care in fear of media attention. They will sink further into secrecy
It's common, because teens aren't allowed to date and have consensual sexual activity, and girls are taught early that they can't say "no" and that males are always right.

@Clorox Bleach um most of the time, nearly all of the time, rapists don't go scot free.
That is completely false. People being celibate before they marry does not lead to more rape. You just drew a totally incorrect conclusion. There is no teaching that girls need to accept rape or men are always right, either. You are drawing these inferences based on the fact that the Amish hold traditional roles and values.
There is no way the parents didn’t know about this. It’s awful. I get that girl out of there because the family probably doesn’t get this is wrong and I’d bet it comes directly from the father. I’d bet my life he’s assaulting her to.
This is horrifying! Absolutely disgusting 🤮 The brothers, the prosecutor, the judge, the parents and the Amish community need to be held accountable in some way.. so unacceptable. This girl has been through so much and needs to be taken out of that community and never look back. And so sad about Daisy... Soon after this was aired, Daisy’s mother Melinda committed suicide as well.
I’m former Mennonite and I have to say this podcast horrifies me. Justice must be served and Amish women children must be educated so they know if they are abused, they are never to blame. They must learn to speak up, police must take the charges seriously, and the men must go to jail before anything will change. I never suffered sexual abuse, and where I came from, such behaviour would not have been tolerated by the community. However, I have no doubt that sexual abuse does occur. Just not normalized to the extent in these Amish communities. I feel so broken for these victims. I was very passionate about writing Anabaptist history but now I am just sick.
I am also a traditional Mennonite ! Here on the West Coast, Canada, the Evangelical Mennonite Conference Churches make a serious effort to stop hiding the abuses and bring them out into the open! This had started in the ‘80’s, I believe, if not even earlier! They report the abusers to the police, give help and support to the victims! We get annual educational classes on the sexual and domestic abuses for leaders and members! The Amish and other Religious groups can learn from the steps our leaders took! It is natural to want to hide the abuse within the church, but ultimately, it is harmful to all!
You Menenites don't have your own law inforcement like the Amish do i don't think. That should never be allowed by any religious organization so this type of thing never happens Again!!😢😢
i do not like how a lot of amish treat animals or kids, they are abusive - not all mind you, but abuse and cruelty and suffering is commonplace, child abuse , sexual abuse, and spouse abuse is also common, the corruption in communities like this needs to be stopped these people do need a mind set change, and it sounds like it is happening, slowly but surely as for one; they started voting ! and typically the amish do not participate much in the 'secular world'' or the english world as they call it. but now, they are voting. and some amish are speaking out against some of the abuses and all that goes on in a lot of these communities. you can punish and discipline children, and animals, without using physical punishment. if youll do the research you will find that around 70, yes, 70 countries do not allow physical or corporal punishment , and get this: the youth are actually BETTER behaved, more empathetic and kind, there is LESS violence, and LESS crime , as well as less repeat offenders for those who do crime... than what we have in america whether amish, or secular/English world where people are getting physically punished. when people quote where the bible says ''spare the rod spoil the child '' - well, that is grossly misinterpreted and mistranslated. it does not mean to hit or strike, it means to guide, to teach, a good Shepard does hit hit his sheep, he uses his rod to guide, to point, to block the path they dont wan the sheep to go.
"They would be eaten alive in prison"?? No kidding. That would be just punishment. What about the little girl, who will ALWAYS have a reminder of these horrendous acts because she has a child that will remind her of it DAILY??? I thought the Amish were very much about the church, you'd think even with their lack of general education, they would have been taught that INCEST is NOT acceptable!! This is completely unacceptable. The parents need to be investigated and that little girl removed from the home, period. The fact that it's even possible for this to happen (that they did NOT go to prison AND that the girl ended up back in the home) is completely ridiculous! There is something seriously wrong with our justice system.

Agreed! These religions should be protected and left alone to worship the way they want, but that’s where it should end. Isolation and secrecy only allows them to hide the social ills and abuses that occur.
It would be nice if there would be anyone that would hold them accountable. But they walk into all stores and restraunts without a mask and not anywhere are they asked or told to where a mask.. well middlefield bank told a couple if them and now they all just do it when they go into the bank.
The work that all of you are doing I thank you. Never knew the Amish would be doing that or allowing it. GET THE PARENTS AND HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE. Did the parents know this was going on ? Was she too scared to say something ?
of course it was. the boys were probably also abused and taught to abuse, which seems evident from their willingness to admit to what they did, seemingly without any concept that there even could be consequences, so my assumption is that they were all groomed for abuse and that they had the idea that it was acceptable within their community. and apparently the leadership is fine with it, so why wouldn't they think they can do it? some communities rally around the abusers with lawyers and letters of support and all kinds of crap, some fully excommunicate and ostracize them for life, or even throw them to the wolves and render unto ceasar, but it really depends on the sect and especially the leadership. I've seen it happen with Muslims with girls as young as 9 because they are viewed as sexually mature at 9 years old in many sects and the entire country of Iran. I've seen it happen with LDS. where the bishop tells a victim not to go to police, not to tell their parents and to pray for forgiveness for their "sin", whether the victim is male or female is irrelevant, and as a "reward" for following the bishop's advice of keeping their mouth shut, he won't hold it against them and they can still get their temple recommend or go on a mission, essentially rewarding them with eternal exaltation for keeping quiet about abuse, and this "worthiness before almighty God" can also be stripped from you at any point in the future if you do decide to talk. Because these communities have craploads of money and very good lawyers, as well as plenty-o-precedent thanks to the various polygamous cults who target young men and women for sexual abuse, arguing that it's their religious freedom, and they've won on that basis, so it can get very murky very quickly with little chance of actually winning, particularly if the victim's parents are against them. I've been on the back end of cases like this enough to know what scares off prosecutors. Because children aren't really considered citizens, they're not always afforded a right to an attorney of their own or an advocate, depending on the state. If Missouri still has old age of consent laws, 12 or 13 may be the legal age of consent and if she's not willing to testify to rape, well...the prosecutor is caught in the middle and there's not much they can do if he can't get the parents to support justice for their child. If they can convince her to say she was a willing participant, and believe me they will if they can, then the entire case would be overturned, so it's entirely possible that the deal they got was really the best the prosecutor could do. He did get them on the hook for 15 years by their own consent. If he hadn't, he could have been in a situation where he couldn't get a conviction at all. As much as people are outraged, and they should be, they should also be advocating to raise all age of consent laws to 18. This helps to protect minors against rape and sexual abuse and then being intimidated into saying they participated willingly. It won't stop it entirely, but it will help.
@@azurephoenix9546 I agree about raising the age of consent to 18 again, and for so many reasons. I read your message, and everything else you said is also true. What a sad state of affairs it is for children everywhere.
@@nikkid4890 if we could recognize children as full citizens, that would eliminate a lot of what is wrong with the justice system when it comes to children, in addition to raising the age of consent. I stood on the playground, saw myself standing on the other of the fence. She split my personality for ever. Kept the guy too. So it went on until he was arrested for molesting a toddler boy in the park. My mom never gave it a second thought her whole life. We lived in a wonderful area near famous beaches. My mother was atheist. Perverts have always gotten away with it.
The mother I am sure gets treated just as bad. Keep her mouth shut type thing. I read about one case where the sons be at and raped their own mother. Even Sam Mullet the Amish barber beat his wife Martha. She died but the trash is still alive.
Those 2 brothers need to be there those young men are going to be shock when they get raped time after time then they will know what it was like for there sister i just heard the baby got taken away the grandparents are taking care of the baby thankgod for that and now they need to put the boys still at home somewhere else but where I feel the young lady should leave the and is not safe where she is would a advocate be able to help her out daisy I hope things work out for you i love you you are so precious god will be watching over you

I would like to add a bit of my story...I was sexually assaulted by my grandfather starting when I was 8 years old. There was an uncle that raped me at 13 and ind in-between there was my father who never raped me but would fondle my budding breasts starting when I was about 10 I think. My mother would sit in the living room and look on while he did that which in my mind made me believe that I guess it is alright what everyone is doing to me cause my mom isn't saying anything .. As I grew older my mother was always very cold to me and I finally asked her a year more so before she passed away, "Why do you hate me?" her answer was that I let my father do the things he did to me...I was shocked and still am when I play that tape over in my head...I said to her "I was a little girl, you were supposed to protect me" she still believed it was my fault
The Amish need to be reminded that they are living in a country that has laws!!!! Why do they think they are exempt from the norm? Why is it allowed to happen in a country of democracy? Why have rules when they can obviously be broken? Oh my goodness, disgusting!!!!!!!! Thank you for this podcast.
@@ukmary1968 Most religoous organizations are full of sexual abuse, because the emphasis is always to protect the organization's image. Think about the Jehovah Witness Catholic, all the mission schools in Canada, US, Africa where child molestation and was rampant. Religious organizations are festering with this crime!
In Britain the Law has now been changed, and marriage before 18 is illegal. Anyone putting a girl through a non State registered ""marriage "" can be arrested . Forced marriage of girls under 18, or taking girls to another country --seg Pakistan or Yemen to name 2 of the many countries involved - is also illegal and the parents get long prison sentences Schools are now takung this problem very seriously. Thenext aim is to make sex with an under 18 year old a crime too.
Get her out of there. What about the other two “underage” brothers who weren’t arrested who also raped her who are living under the same roof as this poor young girl?! Her parents need to be arrested for child endangerment as well.
If the girls underage brothers were old enough to commit an adult crime, they should be treated as adults under the law, this should apply in all cases. not just Amish. Here in Ireland two 12 year olds planned to rape and murder a 12 year old girl, they lured her to an old disused building raped, sexually abused and strangled her beating in her head with a concrete block, got a seven year sentence,we all know they will be out in no time, their names were not allowed to be published, although hers was spread across every nrwspaper, some outraged people made their names available on public media, now 11 people are to be charged, bet they gets heavy sentences .Reminds one of 2 year old Jamie Bolgers murderers. No matter how young they are, they and their parents should be named and shamed
I just came across your discussion by chance. The Amish cannot be allowed to be above the law. The prosecutor and judge and whoever those police who didn't respond should be fired.

The fact that she and her child were just sent right back to that disgusting home.......I have no words. It also really scares me how many other victims haven't been identified and how many are going to be kept even more in secret in the future.
I've heard these stories before about the Amish boys raping their sisters. They get forgiven by the family and community and the girl just suffers to sometimes have this repeated. It's unbelievable.
I don't understand why the Amish .have thire own laws, communities, ( that's cultsthat do that) & it seems like their own country. Why do they get awy with it, but not others? This has always bothered me. They are treated like VERY Devine people.
Kudos to Audry for holding her husband accountable for abusing their children & Misty for reporting the amish bishop so he could face consequences for abusing her & his own children. I hope they're both in prison, every abuser is held accountable & authorities failing to hold them accountable face consequences themselves.

I am the only one tired of humans unable to control their perverted urges? I mean leave the childrens and babies alone...I would like to see the perpetrators and their" weapons" out of the public for good.
The problem is, that this isnt seen as A CRIME.... They dont see the physical and mental damage this does to a a person. It is horrendous.... A lifetime sentence....... At the very least, the perpetrator should be castrated physically for this offence. They would be least likely to physically attack a person. We need repurcussions for this...... You rape once ,younget longterm sentences ATUOMATICALLY!
Makes me sick. I was raped at the age of 15 years.. I have never been able to have a proper relationship with a man since. And I was married, for 15 years, which ended in divorce, because of what happened. I have never been with anyone since. By the way, I am 65 years old now. A few years back while going to counseling with my husband in his journey of recovery from sexual abuse he suffered as a child the specialist we saw told us the Amish community is "saturated with child sexual abuse". The Amish also treat their animals horrible and are the biggest puppy Mill breeders across the country but especially in Pennsylvania and Ohio. It's horrific how the men are never held accountable!!!

These boys could be sexually abusing each other also the parents might be involved in this type of behavior. This family needs to be thoroughly investigated. I've seen Child Protective Services take away a child for a parent smoking a joint or left at the park to play. This is absolutely outrageous!
My ex, Matthew Olt from Palmer Alaska was doing the same to his young sister and his parents did nothing once they found out. Matthew was in Idaho last I knew. His parents were near Dallas Texas. Totally disgusting, poor girls.
We left the Amish a couple years ago. And yes all kind of abuse is rampant, and the victim often times gets blamed. We just thank Jesus that He opened our eyes to the cult that it actually is!!!!

Something very disturbing is happening in that house. How those boys just openly admitted it to police like that had nothing to hide, what kind of morales were taught in that house?? Highly concerned for others in the Amish community and I’m disgusted with how they placed her right back into where her trauma occurred, heartbreaking 😔 those parents need to at the very least be prosecuted for neglect!
Sex is never mentioned (although it seems everyone is doing it). Girls (and boys) get married without knowing where babies come from. One woman I heard got raped by her brother in law as a teenager and even though she was pregnant, she didn't relate her pregnancy to the sex act.
This is second nature for these "predominantly" white males. These males raped Black babies, Black young girls, and Black women, and knew that they could never be punished by the justice criminal system.
Want to explain why there are many other people including atheists who also get away with these things? It's obviously the judge that sees the case that's the problem.
We all need to be screaming this from the rooftops!! Thank you and bless you all for fighting for Daisy and fighting for the innocence lost!! Lord please help them be heard!!!
Thank you for bringing this issue to light! The inside stories of Misty and Audrey are incredible and horrifying at the same time. I feel tremendous sorrow for the silent kids that suffer in these communities. Things have to change! The law is for everyone! Whatever their idea of "normal " may be, it's not up to the communities to determine that but to the courts! They are there to reason the unreasonable and delusional folks out there 🙄. Punishment must be served to the abusers. If they get eaten up in prison, than that's the cross they have to bare for what they've done! They ate up that girl's innocence, mental health, physical health and left her emotionally scared for life, cuz that's what sexual abuse does!
I know a 16-year old boy that had his eardrum ruptured by his father hitting him and the small police department in the town they live, also in SW Missouri, chose to not prosecute the dad even though the state found that he committed child abuse and recommended charges be filed. It is frustrating but they did add his dad to the child abuse registry that the state keeps track of so he will never be able to work with kids or elderly people. The problem is there is zero checks and balances in these small towns and cities in Missouri.
Why do I smell the Amish card having been pulled with that plea deal. If these brothers had been non Amish, the outcome would have been different. Outrageous!
I’d like to know what sexual abuse has to do with one’s religion? Is it in their religion to molest, rape, and abuse women? The law has a duty to protect individuals. They are to protect us all. Religion does not give someone the right to harm someone else.

I’ll never cease to stop being disgusted with the adults involved. Criminal brothers, criminal parents, horrendous DA and low IQ judge. WTF!?
Why does he care?
It’s unbelievable. I can’t understand it!

Maybe making it a “one strike and you’re out” rule would prevent these types of offenders from ending up in positions of power over the rest of us where they can more easily abuse others without detection. Same here. He was my stepdad’s perverted father and that family called me a liar when I finally talked about it at 12 years old. It happened so many times over the years starting when I was 5.
There’s no way those boys didn’t understand what they were doing was wrong. The Amish people study the Bible 24/7 and fornication is a SIN!!!!
@Dr Harold Shipman I don’t understand how the Bible gives men premonition to take away woman’s “god’s given” free will to say no
@Dr Harold Shipman do they live by old testament law? I never thought about it but would guess so.
@rita kempton no rape at all? never?
❤️This makes me cry - I am so sorry this happened to you!! So glad you were adopted by good people
I'm so glad you had good parents who gave you a safe home. Thank God they kick out their abusive foster son and you found peace. God bless you!
I'm a survivor. The abuse started when I was a child and lasted 10 years until my sister finally left the s.o.b. I saw where he finally died this summer. Good riddance. A whole lot of girls became a little more safer with him underground. He never served a day in jail. I wasn't his first or last victim.
❤️😞

I really like the fact that you are exposing these injustices against children. The perpetrators should go to jail because that is perhaps the only real deterrent.
Why aren’t the parents being charged with endangering & neglect???
Of a minor, isn't she 13?
In a word, religion. But it's a cult. And cults are dangerous. It's the real source of this crime since it happens over and again in these cults yet they apologize to this cult rather than the victim. Sickening.
@@annabizaro-doo-dah Religion too in itself is a cult and kills but Yeshua HaMashiha/Jesus Christ came to reset and realign us to God the Father and for us to have a relationship with God. True "RELIGION" is in the relationship with the Father, the Son, and The Holy Spirit--all in ONE!
The parents probably started this behavior in the family group to begin with.
Using common sense.

I hope you have left that community and can find the support you deserve and can one day heal.
Ain’t there no consequences for this Bullsht
These communities need to be investigated. And this should be stopped. She is not the first and she won't be the last!

This is heart breaking. I believe the father started abusing her first before the age of 12 and probably abused the brothers as well. Why else would they think its ok and admit to it. This poor girl needs justice and lots of help. They could harm that baby too. So sick and sad
Definitley the father probably encouraged the brothers to abuse their sister. My heart breaksfor that young girl.
I got hooked on these true crime videos and still shocked and disgusted. Fuckin A man...im staying put in my comfy home where my sweat pants will never hurt me.
I am sure he did
Yep sometimes thats how it gets started
I remember the day I told
mom.
So sad. So sorry. May God put peace in your heart.
Bless you Arlene I am so sorry that you suffered, I had my own experiences as a child which led to debilitating mental health problems and 10 yrs in intensive therapy. I was luckier than many victims because my treatments were free.

That Amish case is so disgusting. I can't believe this is an isolated case with that community, there's a lot probably going on there that goes unreported.
What will happen when the next child turns up abused and pregnant? I fear they won't allow proper medical care in fear of media attention. They will sink further into secrecy
All the time
It's common, because teens aren't allowed to date and have consensual sexual activity, and girls are taught early that they can't say "no" and that males are always right.
That's what I said. I'd be willing to bet my last breath that the father is involved too.

They will never save us😭😭#justiceforcherie #cheriemcrae
I wish they would put the other two in juvenile for twenty years as well

Personally , I'm all for removing the "weapon" ...
No "weapon" , no "urges" --- at least that's what I would hope ...
Amish need to be treated just like everyone else. Young and old
Agreed! These religions should be protected and left alone to worship the way they want, but that’s where it should end. Isolation and secrecy only allows them to hide the social ills and abuses that occur.
🙌
Catholic and Jewish are two other religions that spring to mind on regulating themselves
Well the Bible says you have to abide by the Country's laws.
I believe this has been happening for years before she was 12. ONLY because she fell pregnant as she matured were they even caught!
Omg so sad you’re probably right. I didn’t even think of that.
Exactly, that’s something they were used to doing.
of course it was. the boys were probably also abused and taught to abuse, which seems evident from their willingness to admit to what they did, seemingly without any concept that there even could be consequences, so my assumption is that they were all groomed for abuse and that they had the idea that it was acceptable within their community. and apparently the leadership is fine with it, so why wouldn't they think they can do it?
some communities rally around the abusers with lawyers and letters of support and all kinds of crap, some fully excommunicate and ostracize them for life, or even throw them to the wolves and render unto ceasar, but it really depends on the sect and especially the leadership.
@@nikkid4890
if we could recognize children as full citizens, that would eliminate a lot of what is wrong with the justice system when it comes to children, in addition to raising the age of consent. At least if they are 18, they can legally walk away, with their children if that's the case, and can't be stopped by their families or their religious leaders.
The PARENTS SHOULD BE CHARGED.
They need to ask the girl to name ALL the people who assaulted her. Her dad could be in on it as well.

Exactly. Child sexual assault isn't protected by religious freedom
In practical terms it is
In Britain the Law has now been changed, and marriage before 18 is illegal. Anyone putting a girl through a non State registered ""marriage "" can be arrested . Forced marriage of girls under 18, or taking girls to another country --seg Pakistan or Yemen to name 2 of the many countries involved - is also illegal and the parents get long prison sentences
Schools are now takung this problem very seriously.
Thenext aim is to make sex with an under 18 year old a crime too.
Preachhhh!!!!!!
The Justice system is disgustingly broken. Disgusting! Tired of it
It's the same here in Australia. It is totally DISGUSTING!! Bring back hanging.
Get her out of there. What about the other two “underage” brothers who weren’t arrested who also raped her who are living under the same roof as this poor young girl?! Her parents need to be arrested for child endangerment as well.
Yeah I said that GET DAISY AND THE BABY OUT NOW 😡
I see it like this children do what there parents do. It's so sad that these boys think it's ok. I don't mean that this abusing is okey at all
I agree and very true its a sad situation
Yep, soon of age, ok to rape since no problem with parents regarding that
I just came across your discussion by chance. The Amish cannot be allowed to be above the law. The prosecutor and judge and whoever those police who didn't respond should be fired.
This unacceptable behavior will continue to happen until CPS takes away the abused children and the babies and those doing the assault are sent to prison and held accountable. No one is above the law!! Sad.😢
The child needs her own attorney.
Most state laws REQUIRE it.

definitely the first time I've ever heard of a child rape case where the victim didn't have a guardian ad litem, an advocate or an assigned attorney, but children in the US occupy a precarious position. they aren't citizens, they aren't property, they don't have full rights to justice, they exist within the nether world and their status is not static.

It must to be quite normal for them, no one is there to look over these children.
The whole “Community” needs to be on probation since the “Community” feels they are above the law.

Who is the judge and prosecutor’s in this case they must be fired for not protecting the victim the little girl had a baby out of this it’s really sickening.

One would think that - but why were they treated differently?
