    Excellent review. Fantastic car, great value.
    I got one in May 2014, this year I traded in and got another one with higher trim.

    It looks like every high/middle-class family is buying this 2015 Genesis. I already know 5 people who have bought this car, and most of them are coming from German luxury sedans. I must say the exterior looks very attractive, very dominant looking.

      UltimateDriver I bought the 2015 Genesis 3.8L V6 and it's the best car I've ever bought so far. And my previous car was the 2006 BMW 530i and that speaks volumes on what I expect from a car.

      UltimateDriver The 2015 Hyundai Genesis is a driver's car definitely. Most reviewers are praising it's AWD transmission and responsive handling. Glad that Hyundai moved away from the numb steering of 2012-2013.

    The 2015 Hyundai Genesis has the best AWD transmission I've ever experienced on a luxury mid-size sedan. It even beats the BMW 535d and is far superior compared to the Lexus GS350. The 2015 Hyundai Genesis' steering is also very responsive and on the heavy side. None of the numb steering you see with the other Korean/Japanese cars.
    Hyundai is a very high-tech company that manufactures jet engines for Lockheed Martin and Boeing.

    I chose Genesis over Audi A6 last month. Apart from the orange interior lighting that I love about Audi, I can confidently say that this car beats the A6 with no doubt. Seriously was surprised when I first drove this. With the new Genesis brand, its a bonus too!

    It's so fucked up how people pick Bmws, Mercedes Benz not because it's comfortable, but because it's just fucking Benz. Honestly if we lived in a world where nobody judges you by the car you drive, more Hyundais will sell. Honestly Benz and Bmws are really great looking and all, but I really feel it's over priced. Too bad some people buy cars because of its logo and not the actual car itself.

    Hyundai and Kia are progressive car makers. Each year they improve their models but not like the other car makers: they really step up their cars both in the reliability and modernity departments. Much more proactive that all Honda, Toyota, Ford, VW and other car makers. If you'd put the management teams from Kia and Hyundai to work for Mercedes or Lexus, they could build a supersonic car that could make ice cream. That's what I like to see: a team that really cares about improving, not just moving along with others.

    Zach, I think this new Genesis is based on completely new platform and therefore it does not share platform with K9 or Equus. But the old Genesis did share the platform with the K9 and Equus. Cheers!

    It looks better with the reflection on the Genesis in the introduction. We have a previous generation, and it's been almost 6 years and we are kind of getting ready to change it. Interestingly, here in Korea, the Genesis is not particularly any cheaper than 5 series and A6, while E Class is significantly more expensive, and we are looking forward to get maybe a 5 series or even 6 series if I could really convince my dad. haha

      +Jun Jeon Don't bother. Maintenance costs of a BMW are stupid expensive, even on new cars. Brakes, oil, tires costs double if not triple of what other cars require. I am going to get rid of our BMW and get something like the Genesis actually.

    For the starting price of a 5 series, you can also buy a Hyundai Equus which is even more luxurious and has more features than the E class/A6/5 Series. The Genesis is a no questions asked bargain for around the price of an entry level Merc which has the interior of an Accord at best.

    whats the point of having a hyundai when half the people changes the hyundai badges into something else ! Their not even proud of the brand. Look at all those genesis coupe & sedans , optima. They all change into another badge.

    • @DRAGONIKification
      @DRAGONIKification 10 років тому

      They are changing the badge because someone wants a "picture" on the badge.Kia and hyundai made those badges,if you dont want letter badge you can change it to second badge what kia or hyundai made.

    • @JamaicanMeCrazy
      @JamaicanMeCrazy 9 років тому

      Hey Jacky, I just wanted to point out that you are half correct. While there are certainly quite a few people who change their logos, they actually change it to the genesis logo. The genesis is actually branded differently in Korea. Most people who swap out their badges do so for the winged 'factory' gesis logo. I guess many of the genesis customers wish hyundai would create a separate luxury brand like Lexus or infinity. In any case the winged logo can be installed and or ordered from the dealer.

    • @MTLJack
      @MTLJack 9 років тому

      That's what i meant @ray britton. They all change to the winged genesis emblem or the K emblem for the kia optimas. Not sure why Pedro Pedrosoy got over excited and talks about ferrari while he drives trashes. What does the subject has anything to do with ferrari's and now bmw's? Ferrari's are just good for show room , they are extremely not reliable.

      I'm a fucking moron? LOL okay man. First of all, a base 5 series starts a 49 grand idiot. Second of all, Hyundai has not established its status enough to be a luxury series as opposed to BMW or Mercedes, who by the way are one of the most valuable companies in the world. Buying a luxury car is not just about the amenities it has, but its status when you drive it. Do you see powerful celebrities driving Hyundais? No. But you would spend $62,000 on a Hyundai because you're a moron.
