Cutting the music whenever a foot popped on that start move for the v7 was great! Also, with everyone saying tension so much, it reminded me of a parody of that strange Bentley commercial that has been mocked a lot on instagram.

Seems like a great concept for a gym. 24 hours is so helpful for squeezing one in before a shift or as an early crag warmup, hopefully mord places do this kind of thing. The communities tend to be real cool as well. Love the School Room in Sheffield for this.

Tension as it pertains to climbing: you've just finished a long climbing session at the crag, you're ready to go home, and you and your climbing partner both spot the last of the Oreo's you brought with you at the same time :)

Fun video! Would love to try the TB2 sometime and I love the 24 hour training gym concept (school room style).
While pinching might not be your favored grip type, it actually allows you to engage more of your big muscles and helps a lot with power and body tension on steep climbing. In the long run it's worth it to force yourself to pinch holds in training!

One of my favorite things to do when climbing is sorta messing around with climbs, like trying to find as many ways to do a move or start a climb as possible or seeing who can do bathangs in the most places. I have the bathang advantage of being short, but sometimes I'm too short to get into the bathang properly lol. I was so happy when the figure 4 start worked!

Today I jumped uncontrollably onto the foot of a small child who was running around. It was very lucky that there was no injury. Time and time again I see parents not looking after their children!

Regarding the alleged "dead pixel:" The artifact may or may not be noticeable, depending on screen resolution and a bunch of other technical variables. It may also depend on how high you are.
Yeah, I had to think about that for a minute, but it definitely doesn't work the same way as an LCD when shooting video.

I haven't done any board climbing in so long, since my main gym doesn't have any boards. I was already planning on going to a different gym soon just for that, but now I'm gonna have to squeeze it in this week fs! My finger strength and my climbing in general has improved quite a bit since the last time I kiltered, so I'm really curious to see how I do now. Probably will still fail some V0's, but who cares lol
„Tension“ is just a semi-encouraging word that will come up in 99% of videos on mellow along with „tight“ and „dude“.
Tension is the ability to avoid your feet slipping!
Tension is when your body becomes a solid immovable object
Tension is to stiffen one set of muscle to allow other muscle to pull against them where bone are cartridge is not there to pull against.

I'm curious how they handle their liability insurance and such for a 24 hour gym (is there a staff member always present?) but it's a great concept (I considered something similar in my area when a fitness studio in a strip mall closed, but I don't think my area has enough demand?)
In regards to tension in climbing, I like to compare the body to a spring, and that you always want a bit of compression in the spring to hold it in place between two objects. I usually explain to people that if you have some bend in your legs and that you're always applying pressure through the feet, you'll have a good baseline for maintaining tension on the wall. Once those legs fully straighten, you can't continue to apply pressure through the feet, and the tension is reduced (usually resulting in a foot pop or cut-loose), so it's good to always move your feet before the foot applying pressure is fully stretched out. This isn't all encompassing, but since most climbers understand how to keep their upper body on the wall, it's usually the feet where people lose tension.
I believe tension in reference to climbing is what female climbers feel every time a male “climber” comes out of nowhere to beta spray and “teach” them how to climb

It likely isn't actually dead, just dirty. Any decent camera shop which can support the brand in question should be able to clean the sensor.
