I'm aspiring to be a pro and I have the same problem as them. I really only to one gym in my state weekly and have to go to different gyms the other 4/5 days i train. Luckily I live in a state that has 20+ gyms in a pretty close area and I'm still complaining that I wish gyms set harder or there were more comp problems. But I would rather be where I am in my climbing as it's so much fun and being able to try anything and everything at any gym I go to in the world and get at least most of the way is definitely nice.
Comp climbing really is a very small niche. Very few decent climbers over the age of 35 will be throwing themselves around like this. Once the novelty wears off and the risk to reward is diminished , you have no choice but to focus on outdoor goals or just other goals in life. If 'comp climbing' is to become the Olympic standard, we need to have suitable facilities for professionals, it is just not really commercially viable at the highest level.
This is the sad reality of most world cup climbers. They receive no funding or sponsorship and often pay out of pocket to compete. All the sponsorships go to content creators these days
Cause amateur climbers NEVER enjoy watching content with professional climbers do they? Frankly, it's interesting hearing the side of story that isn't often vocalised. If you're not interested in that story why are you here and why are you complaining about FREE content?
I too tried watching professional sports once. I immediately had to turn it off because it was so unrelatable. I now only watch mediocre hobbyists who struggle with the basic fundamentals of their sport.

Honestly the v5-v9 range indoor is when, in my opinion, climbing is at its most fun. Such a wonderful variety of movement.
It’s that sweet spot isn’t it
This perspective is just great to hear, no matter if you’re aspiring to climb professionally or not. It also translates to anything in life.

Thank you!!!
Loving the videos dude - you've been talking with such a wide range of people!
Being a pro climber in an average climbing gym is kinda like being one punch man
😂😂oh my days, that’s so accurate
Well there´s only like 5 climbs that is challenging for me as well in each gym. The rest is either too hard to even tryh or too easy.
