  • Monster Mike from Duff Tuff joins us today to install the new James Duff Exhaust kit! You can get a kit here: bit.ly/DuffExhaust
    James Duff has adapters for my Toms Bronco Parts Headers that fit perfectly with the Duff Tuff Exhaust kit. AND THIS EXHAUST SOUNDS AMAZING!!! I’m so happy with it. This is the best set up to have a great sounding Bronco. I went with the Cherry Bomb Vortex mufflers and I am so happy I did.
    Here’s how easy it goes in:
    1. Remove your old exhaust
    2. Attach the adapters for the TBP headers
    3. Attach the hangers behind the front seats
    4. Attach the intermediate pipes using the supplied hangers
    5. Attach the mufflers
    6. Attach the after muffler pipes
    7. Then attach the 90° tail pipes
    It was such an easy install and took no time at all. Well worth the money.

    Your videos are the best. You have so much fun working. Keep them up cause I've learned so much. Wish I knew about those adapters for the TBP headers. Doh!!

    Awesome vid as always...
    When I was working on the rusted bed flooring on my 74 EB, I managed to catch fire to the solvent soaked rags while grinding away a small section near the tailgate. Long story short, I put the rag fire out just in time for the fire truck to arrive, then the chief got to chew my ear on the subject of fire safety & of course this happens in October during fire safety awareness month... ^_^'

    Where did you weld in the O2 Bung? Do you need one on each side? I have a Sniper I'll be installing. Thanks

    Sounds really good im building a 1961 ford falcon with a similar setup I got Doug Thorley long tube headers and MagnaFlow straight through mufflers it a 302 with a fitech but I'm running the new in tank fuel pump

      Nice! I need to switch to the intake pump. The online pump is way too loud. I can still hear it over my exhaust

    Sounds good,I’m sure it’s gonna get a little louder once the mufflers get some use,big fan of your videos,hopefully see more events and off-road trips this year with the spring coming,what size tires and how much lift on your truck.

    Great video. I am looking for the right exhaust kit and I keep coming back here to this kit. Question: My stock 73 Bronco seems to have a plastic fuel line running the inside of the frame rail. Is plastic original? I always saw steel lines in all my other vintage Ford trucks (this is my first EB). The exhaust kit seems very close in the way it will run that frame rail. I am worried about the heat. Are people moving the fuel line, wiring harness and the brake line to the outside of the rail when putting the dual kits in? E-brake cables an issue? I have yet to get those in to see where they will be happy. Thanks for the tips!!

    Hey there, great videos! I haven't been able to watch them all yet unfortunately. Just wondering why you used Toms headers and not Duffs? Maybe just using a variety from all the different Bronco vendors? Sorry if you have already covered this. Anyway keep the videos coming! It's motivating me to get my first vehicle out with the barn and work on it! A 70 1\2 cab Bronco I've had for 25+ years. Thanks, Andy.

      Awesome Andy! Get that Bronco running! I actually bought the Toms headers a while ago and never got around to install them.

    Great videos on the install! why did you go long tube vs short tube headers? did you notice a difference in power from stock?

    • @NashvilleEarlyBronco
      @NashvilleEarlyBronco  6 років тому +2

      Definitely a small power increase. Still need to get it on the dyno and see how much it helped my 140 hp 😂 I’ve heard shorty headers are better for low end torque, but when I got mine I didn’t do the research on the differences I just like the look of the long tubes better.

    • @iddddaduncan
      @iddddaduncan 6 років тому +1

      Thanks for the info,so no problem with getting the long tubes in? did you have to get a flexible dipstick? do you have a stock 302? that's what I have also with a alum man/carb? any additional hp is welcomed.

    • @NashvilleEarlyBronco
      @NashvilleEarlyBronco  6 років тому +1

      No issues getting the long tubes in. But I did have to put in the flexible dip stick

    I went to install my exhaust set up that’s pretty darn the same as yours. I have the TBP long tubs SS headers, with stock everything underneath. I went with the MagnaFlows and turns out I need longer Ubolts to hang the mufflers. I’m also having trouble getting my adapters to fit freely in the first long pipe of this kit before the mufflers. It’s making it very difficult to mock up my kit. I’m on the struggle buss with this kit at the moment. I had to walk away from it today and let it win this round. Any advice?

    Where do you get the adapters between the Tom's Bronco parts headers and the James duff exhaust. And will the exhaust system work with ax 15 conversio

    • @NashvilleEarlyBronco
      @NashvilleEarlyBronco  Рік тому

      Duff had the adapters on their site for a while, I’m not sure if they do anymore. I don’t know about ax15

    I’ve watched this video several times I noticed how close the drivers side muffler is to the e-brake bracket how close are the cables when you installed them? I’ve got the same exhaust system I haven’t installed it yet I haven’t had the time to install yet

    I noticed the non-mandrel bends in the exhaust kit. Kind of makes it pointless to put on the long tube headers. Unless you are just going for sound.

    hey bud just wondering if you're still loving the new exhaust and if you have had any trouble with leaks since there is no welding with this kit?

    • @NashvilleEarlyBronco
      @NashvilleEarlyBronco  6 років тому

      I love it! I’ve retightened everything once because I thought I heard some leaking, but it turned out to be coming from a loose header bolt

    • @speedwayman100
      @speedwayman100 6 років тому

      right on man and the welding you did do was for the o2 sensors and not the actual exhaust?I have a 74 bronco and was thinking of going with this setup dual exhaust for 300 bucks great price!Also basically i have a stock bronco with about 80,000 original miles three on the tree and was thinking of doing some of the same upgrades you've been doing have you done anything to the motor and did you change from the fitech to the holley sniper? Thanks man hope all is well!

    • @NashvilleEarlyBronco
      @NashvilleEarlyBronco  6 років тому

      Yeah, the welding was just for the O2 bung. I like the FiTech but have had issues with it. I’m going to try the Edlebrock ProFlow and see if that works better but I love having the Fuel Injection.

    • @speedwayman100
      @speedwayman100 6 років тому

      right on,have you done anything to your motor itself? mine has about 80,000 original miles and wondering if i need to beef it up a bit or just add efi,new intake,new heads,along with the new headers and exhaust and see how she runs?

    • @NashvilleEarlyBronco
      @NashvilleEarlyBronco  6 років тому

      I’ve added new intake manifold, changed the air cleaner assembly, added EFI, headers, and just swapped the cam. But I think that exhaust will help a stock 302

  • @speedwayman100
    @speedwayman100 6 років тому

    Hey bud i was wondering where you ran your gas lines?

    • @NashvilleEarlyBronco
      @NashvilleEarlyBronco  6 років тому

      I have a one inch body lift, so I ran them mostly in the same spot but some above the frame if there wasn’t room

    • @speedwayman100
      @speedwayman100 6 років тому

      i was told with dual exhausts you wanna keep them away from gas lines which on mine run to the inside of the frame so i might run my gas lines up top we'll see!
