I just change the valve on my wife's Corolla manually using stock tire jack under the car, using pressure on car weight to break the bead & it works my first time. I will be buying this Bead Buster tool for the future since tire shops are so pain & expansive when you add all the cost. last time ordered 4 new tires only 3 arrived! had to buy something I didn't want which I think was intentional as the shop gets incentive to sell certain brands. I lived in the city apt so a big wheel machine is out. this will save me time / money /room & the satisfaction I did it myself. Thanks for video🍺🍺🍺
You bet, thanks for watching my friend!
I bought one of these 5 or so years ago and I'm glad I did. Man! it made a dirty, sweaty job a lot easier. I maintain (for the family) 1 street bike, 1 cruiser, 3 dirt bikes, 3 4-wheelers and a side by side. With that many vehicles, it seems I'm changing tires on a regular basis. As of now, I don't change my car or truck tires but since I'm approaching retirement age I may in the future (Gonna have to save a buck when I can!) and BTW: A tire balance will be the next tool you'll need. I use one from Harbor freight. It's inexpensive but works fine.
OR--
go to Harbor freight and buy their manual tire changing stand. I have a video demonstrating how the harbor freight tire changing stand worked on my motorcycle tire for breaking the bead , and the main thing about the harbor freight machine is, it does it without touching your rim/wheel. It only presses down on the tire to break the bead..I have a coats tire machine from the old days that I’ve had for decades. I also have the attachment for breaking beads..
but I bought the harbor freight tire changing stand just to get the motorcycle wheel holding attachment for that car tire changer…the tire changer is crude and will scrape/!damage your perfect alloy wheels-BUT--/ the bead breaker part of that harbor freight stand is great .. it breaks beads on car tires, motorcycle tires, dirtbike tires, even truck tires. Very worth $50. I actually have a video on UA-cam showing how it works on a motorcycle tire/ wheel breaking the bead in 2 seconds…
Looks like a great tool. Thanks Brian!
Awesome Gotta get me one
Thank you for the informative film (contour wheel is a new for me) and reminder about safety glasses. I usually deflate the tire first and then remove the Schrader Valve. I use ratcheting wrench or wrench (not impact gun, I think this is for professionals, I'm afraid to brake the XB-452 w/that gun).
Thanks for watching and your awesome feedback Olena!
@@FishersOffRoad My pleasure. Just thoughts for someone who did first 5 tires and can't hold really well the impact gun w/one hand.
That’ll be good for putting in new tpms
I actually used it on my F250 the other day to put in a new TPMS.👍🏼
How well does this work for low profile passenger tires? Like 45 or 40 sidewall profile?
It works well for those as well. I’ve used the BeadBuster on every a ton of different tire & wheel combos and haven’t had any issues at all.
It'd be really cool to see a video update on the new shop and how that business is going.
You got it! 👍🏼
Do I need an air compressor to reseal the bead or can a high pressure low flow electric pump do it? I don’t want to buy air compressor just to get reseal, if I can avoid it.
You can try it for sure, I’ve never done it that way. 👍🏼
Many thanks! I was thinking of harnessing the air from another tire,. I would overinflate another tire and then connect them. The thing that stops the flow is the other tire internal valve, which I cannot remove and maintain pressure. Wish me luck.
Is for off rim? or on rims only i have off rims tires to do tire swap.
Not sure what you mean by “off rim or on rim”
Thank you for the presentation..it seems very easy.. just one thing... usually here in Europe the tyre's man make the tyre rolling in the big machine and add some little weights in order to make the tyre perfectly equilibrate... I think it's a bit risky to take our family on highway with unsecured balancing..do you have an alternative, smart guy?
You should probably keep taking yours to the tire guy. 👍🏼
I've balanced my own tires with a bubble balance. It works... Ain't perfect, but good enough.. highway speeds and no vibrations.. but I can tell its not professional.
Balance beads!
is there anything special to inflate tire. can i just go to any gas station and fill up with air to reseal the bead?
You can use any air compressor, a gas station is fine.
En donde lo venden está bonito yokioro uno

You can get it at their web site or on Amazon.

Thank you for watching. 👍🏼
Stupid me, I got the XB-455 and the arm is too short to hold on to the rim so it keeps slipping off.
I screwed myself royally.
Did you check beadbuster.com/ to see if you can just get an arm?
@@FishersOffRoad
Thanks for your reply. I was literally attempting to replace my tires, when I discovered I purchased the wrong beadbuster. I'm leaving on a road trip from Toronto to Orlando in less than a week; so there wouldn't be time to receive that arm.
I ended up going to a tire shop where I had bought 4 new tires the week before and had them replace my tires. Thank you for your feedback.🙂
You bet, have a great trip! 👍🏼
Forgot to break the bead on the back part of that rim
It was just a demonstration. Lol
difference between 455 bead buster
Check out their site, a lot of choices. beadbuster.com/help-me-choose/
Only thing that bothered me was you using an impact driver instead of an impact wrench. But it got the job done, so no big deal.
Lol no!
It’s ok, it’s not for everyone! 😂
@FishersOffRoad yea it's cool idea though. Running a tire shop for many years now and I know of alot of rims that's even my coats machine can't hardly break beads on, and sum Toyota wheels are are on that list. Love your videos though
@jamesmorgan6832 I hear ya buddy, we have a coats as well and some are a struggle for sure. Thanks for watching! 👍🏼
Buy a tire machine
I have one of those too…
Worst product ever
Stop calling the valve core a valve 'gut'
That’s what we’ve always called it. Sorry it offended you. 👍🏼
Who cares buddy. We all know what he meant. It's like some people call it soda, and some call it pop. Relax and take a deep breath.
