This was back before 911, recording all calls to the police, and 911 addressing. If you didn't give them any address, they had no idea where to go. I remember when my Pop was in the hospital one of several times he was admitted for Black Lung. He bought me a gift from the Hospital Gift Shop. This was like 1965. Actually was common then to get out your car on curb side. That way you wouldn't exit into passing traffic.
The seats were bench seats, not bucket seats with a big blob of stuff inbetween. Easy to slide across.
The previews at the beginning of this aren't from this episode. They're from the previous episode, "Suicide".
Crawford, uhm, Matthews jumps out of the car and immediately shoots into the building from where the woman called HP. Oh boy!
Just think. Phone booths are as much a thing of the past as steam locomotives.
Bad news for Clark Kent.
Phone booths are still a staple in the upper mid-west and as far as steam locomotives, there around, just have to know where to look.
They were going out in favor in the 70s as those half-ass ones with no doors began becoming standard.
Musta bin fun doing these shows driving around the valley on a Tuesday afternoon in may
2150 by. Dan Matthews said he talked to Mrs. Lohman 3 times today. Lets see now, she called about being robbed on Hwy 11 and then a school bus accident on Hwy 40, what other call did she make to the Hwy Patrol? Good episode.
+Ronclown the 3rd time was during the robbery dude...really, how did you misunderstand that?
Back in the late 80’s the company I was flying for the owner of the company was receiving calls about someone dressed in there pilot uniform hitting bars all over town trying to impress and pickup women. What gave him away is no pilot in there right mind would wear the uniform while drinking in public much less going to a bar. I don’t know if he was actually caught in the act. This episode brought back that memory. Lol
Ah, the wide open spaces of 1950s Ca
The actress, Florence Shaen, making the diversionary calls just passed at 94 last month, August, 2023.
So cheesy it's great!
Love how the "hostage" doesn't scream when grabbed from behind, but only after a delay when told to act it up.
Kind of stupid for a man of Matthews' experience to shoot blind into the front of the florist, knowing the distress call came from there.
Israelite Ram .... Not really when you think about it.
"Is he dead?" Crawford "Ah, he can still smell flowers!"
Is He Dead? .. He Can Still Smell Flowers
Classic Crawford!
Crooked crooks, and the highway patrol ✔️
The way the dispatcher caresses the microphone reminds me of all the intimate times we used to have.........
" Can you describe him ?".
" Anytime, I never forget a crook."
My wife liked me because I wore a uniform...I was a garbage man
That man and woman couple were very evil; going about robbing people instead of working for a living!😡
Woman Should Dress Like That Today
But I expected him to say, "You're like all DAMES. You're fascinated by the telephone."
He's the one who's done it longer but she seems to be the brains of the operation.
The crooks got so much money from the Loan Company they should have quit while they were ahead.
Looks like is was shot in the winter very smoggy too.
Shot in China, always smoggy and cheap labour over there.
Smog wasn't invented until the late 60's. 'Global Warming' came in the 80's, 'Global Cooling' in the 90's, and to cover their bullshit lying asses socialist democrats began to call it 'Climate Change' around 2010. They'll do anything to take the American taxpayers' money. Fuk the damned dems!
@@streetrodder2846 no no, the 80's was overpopulation
Actually it was fog
Who was the Burnett
"You're a woman you're fascinated by the phone, I've spoken to you three times today", Oh the WOKES would be in meltdown if they heard that lol
Speaking of meltdowns, didn't the UNWOKES lose it when the makers of the "melt in your mouth, not in your hands" candy decided to modernize their green M&M mascot? Talk about meltdowns....lol.
@@kenbob1071 You enjoy sticking up for the woke mob, eh? Must suck to be a cuck. Modernize? You can't modernize sexuality. It hasn't changed in millions of years. Now take your mental illness and go watch a "modern" show like some drag show for kids.
The what? Oh the cringe terminology of these days. Even when I couldn't stand Alternative in the 1990s, it would have still been better than the shit that passes for terminology today!

@@istankimjong-unbutcantstan3398 WOKES are those delicate individuals who want books re-written if they describe someone as FAT as it might cause offence to fat people, or demand "Trigger Warnings" on programmes such as Addams Family because it might contain SCARY themes.
They overuse those sirens. Why give felons early warning?
At 15:34, the back of the car at first looked like a Tucker. It was probably a Studebaker.
My guess is it is a Pontiac, the Tucker boat tail back end did not go that far back.
This is a 1950 Buick Jetback Sedanet. This fastback model was available in all 1950 Buick series, that is the Special, the Super and the Roadmaster. You recognize that Buick by its 2 level bumber, 2 gunsights, vertical brake light with twin domes and the Buick logo.
I would like to see the police drive a 1949 Ford DeLuxe 2 door sedan on Highway Patrol.
" Hey Dan , it's that crazy lady on the phone again, with another crime."
" probably a prank call."
Never ever imposter a highway 🛣️ patrol 🚓 officer 👮🏿👮🏿♀️👮🏿♂️ under any circumstances either ever ❤😂🎉😅😊! 25:39
