"Art is hard, and thats okay" I needed that T -- T , today i wanted to start drawing smth but im kinda scared cuz i know it wont turn out the way i want it to especially cuz im a beginner no matter how many tips and tricks vids i watch none of them will improve my art overnight so i was discouraged, its not easy to be creative but drawing always relaxes me it the only hobby that stuck with me even if its hard and have a great year ahead of you!!
I'm glad you liked the video! Thanks so much for the comment. The best thing to do IMO is to just enjoy the process while trying many different things out. Exploration is very important!
I feel like when i first started i couldnt stop finding artists on instagram that inspired me But now something has changed.. the way people make art now (more focus on trends and growth than fun) combined with the algorythm its like i only get fed anime art styles which i dont like and now i basicly dont have any artists i follow that inspire me Is anybody else struggling to find artists that inspire u??
I definitely know what you mean by this However, there are still ways to find different artists of varying styles I personally LOVE watching art styles challenge videos cause they introduce me to a lot of cool artists to follow! I love the one Apselene did on her channel I also posted one in this channel a while ago. Go check that out if you're interested ❤️
Love the video! As a fellow artist, I agree with all of these points. Especially the "Art is hard, but that's okay". I also think that so many people forget that art should also be FUN. Whenever I get stressed while working on a piece or a project, I have to remind myself that I'm doing this because I ENJOY it. Then when I start treating it like play, that's when the real fun begins and I can get out of my head. ❤
Lovely video and great insights! I agree with "style" part, art is a journey and sometimes you have to take different paths to find "yourself". Have a great year
Thank you for making this video! I feel like many, including myself, can sometimes fall into a tutorial trap in hopes of passively absorbing knowledge. But I keep needing to remind myself that while tutorials can be interesting and often entertaining, learning and applying knowledge often comes from practically just doing your craft & art and experimenting with what you personally like and how can you convey the things you want to tell or express. And sometimes you can find surprising new paths when experimenting :D I often go into things a bit surface level and my personal aesthetics first, mainly because I draw for fun on my free time, but learning more about ways of visual storytelling would be nice. Even if they're not strict rules, more like soft guidelines that can be followed or tapped fully or partially and analysed, if one chooses to do so. Also I agree on texture being fun despite being somewhat complex to do well digitally. Have a great rest of your day!
I was talking more abt lifestyle and business influencers but I think we can still apply what I said for tutorials as well! Sometimes, things just take time and that's the beauty of art I wish you nothing but good luck for this year Thanks for the kind words!
Thanks for the lovely video ❤️ I always struggle with texture. I don't know how to use textures because I always use airbrush or sharp edge brush to make my drawings look smooth and clean. Now I'm stuck with it. Honestly, when I see textured artstyles I envy them. I love your insight about story telling as well.
I was literally in this exact predicament last year. It's hard to get used to using textures but once you just try it consistently and get more experience, it becomes really fun Thanks for the kind words!
Great video! The "Art is hard" point really resonates. I've recently come back to painting and drawing after a long hiatus and it's a lot more difficult than I remember it being. Hearing someone else acknowledge that helps a lot!
What videos do you guys want to see in 2025?

Yeah same here but it'll die down soon enough once the trend has dissolved.
