I’ve used just about all of these tools, other than the sander. As I really didn’t have a use for a sander, as a plumber. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with any of them. That drill nearly broke my wrist, and that light was the only light I had on the truck. I roughed, set out, did service work, crawl spaces, attics. I cut a 4” terra cotta sewer in a 4’ hole underneath a deck that I actually had to remove the boards to access, with that grinder, because I had absolutely no chance of getting the rescue saw in the hole without becoming a mole. Not to mention there was a water service to an in-law suite like 2” away from the sewer pipe. Everything in this kit is more than adequate. I just saw it this weekend and had to buy it. I’ve (personally) got Milwaukee everything else, but this is like $1200 worth of tools if sold separately.

I bought the same one 2 years ago and I think this is the best value starter kit for anyone. some complain of couple tool not being brushless but hey for starters you can't go wrong with this set

At first, in the very beginning minutes I was going to quit watching the video because it was you showing everything coming out of the box but in Charley Chaplin mode. Then you brought everything inside your work shop and actually spoke. That was a very good move. And the best part was when you showed every tool and how you compared them to other tools even if they aren't DeWalt. And I love the jig you built.

On the battery being loose, maybe you can use some tape in place to dampen the vibrations.

Bought the kit about 2 weeks ago for $99 from Home Depot. A nice upgrade from the Black and Decker drill I had. Too bad I bought a Bosch hammer drill and an impact driver before for some house work because the Black and Decker drill just doesn't cut it for the work.

Nobody used to complain about tools not being brushless,they did the job and that’s all that really mattered. Nowadays they have brushless tools that perform better but cost more so can’t really complain about a few that are not brushless cause it’s a great buy for all those tools

This is a good price. It'll definitely be overinflated in price, here in the UK. If that price was converted it'd be £350 mark. They'd go off the shelves on the first day. That DeWalt T stack roller with ability to add more boxes is an absolute diamond.

Exactly what I was thinking. Assuming its (usd).
In my country, the circular saw alone would cost about $380 based on the blade size, maybe there is other variant but that's the cheapest dewalt circular saw at 165mm. The drill is a 20v and the only dewalt 20v cordless cost about $200 and more.
Not to mention all the batteries are included here.
In s.e.a countries dewalt has different version maybe its very similar in specs but the model number is different, so the high price isnt because of it being imported from the US. The exact model sold in the US being imported is obviously going to cost even more from shipping alone.
This is honest a ridiculously good price, brushless or not, whether it's a lower end model. Good starter kit for diy enthusiast.

I’m a contractor and swapped out my makita gear for dewalt and have nothing bad to say about them. Both good and had the best in both, dewalt hasn’t let me down, makita did. 🤷🏻♂️

I think makita tools are fantastic for their niche (which I think is framing TBH) and dewalt has faster* tools that seem to last longer

I had a car break in, some tools stolen, a brushless DeWalt screw driver among others. I had to buy a cheapo replacement just to be able to work. Damn I miss that thing. If I find this set on a good price, I'll get it for sure. They may not be as good as compared to their brushless/better models, but overall value for money seems very compelling for a starter pack. Why didn't I see this video before the Black Friday? ';)

I am a commercial electrician, I bought it about two years ago and my opinion is, the performance of the tools is very good but the toolbox regarding its locks are very bad, they break very easily, the material where they are attached is very weak. Also the battery charger is lousy, it was damaged in less than two weeks and I called customer service they promised to send a replacement but they did not tell me in what year, I am still waiting today, I ended up buying another.

I agree completely. My dewalt rolling boxes lasted less than a year. Garbage really. I have all dewalt tools for the most part. Perfect for my needs. All now living in a Milwaukee packout setup.

Its a bit of a rip off.. well not really a rip off but a little deceiving. Not all thr tools in some of the discount kits have brushless motors.. and the circular saw doesn't have a 7 1/4 blade.... depends on what your using the tools for as to how big a difference all this makes... the point is they are advertised as XR tools... which again can be deceiving in itself
@@brianbusby2896 xr just means extended run time which is marketing. It does not and has never meant that the tool contained a brushess motor. The blade size difference isn't misleading either. Dewalt only sell that orientation of handle and blade in that size to begin with. None of this is misleading.

They need to stop including those flashlights and just trow in something else. Another battery would be more appreciated. Who needs those flashlights anymore. You can get better ones on amazon or eBay for $20 for a pack of 2 with tilting head and magnet and hook. And they are rechargeable.
Agree. It is not worth it. The only advantage of this flashlight is its adjustable head.
I had ordered Dewalt’s 84 piece socket set I needed to get more sockets because I don’t have that many Dewalt has great tools.

Most likely cost less than 5 bucks to make, in Canada it goes for $50/$100, with no battery,but.... still the best flashlight I have EVER owned!

I feel like I got fucking ripped off by Lowes for what I paid for my combo kit after seeing yours.
I'm not kind of pissed here, I'm really pissed at my self for not looking around more to weigh out my options.
I feel like Lowes told me anything and everything that they could to get that sale.
Yes, I have "insurance" on the combo kit that I bought, but two less tools, and 5 amp hour battery less......and I paid the same price for my combo kit, that this one is being offered at, with less "stuff".....

It might be worth it. As long as the gears don’t slip on the drills like Milwaukee’s. And then Milwaukee want you to produce receipts and everything for warranty. That is the most craziest thing ever dealing with tool warranty

I'm gonna get this kit for Christmas, debating on whether or not to kit the 10 tool kit for 100 more. Comes with leaf blower, Bluetooth speaker, and vacuum. But you lose the 4ah battery. That's an 80 dollar battery. And a 10 tool kit comes with two soft bags instead of the hard case. Decisions 😁 that flashlight is a marketing hype to make it a 7 tool instead of 6.
