Classroom to Care (C2C) Project Overview

IntraHealth International’s Classroom to Care project, funded by Global CSR Program, is improving access to maternal and child health care in Mali, Niger, and Senegal by (1) strengthening preservice education for nurses and midwives in 12 private health schools, (2) establishing partnerships with the West African Health Organization (WAHO) and private school associations, (3) training teachers on the competency-based approach, and (4) increasing the number of graduates from marginalized communities through Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) best practices.
