Man, THANK YOU! Over the past few days I have been wrestling with my cluster swap, and you cleared up quite a few problems I was having that the Tazer instructions did not make clear. I was about to call Z Automotive, but I ran across your videos, and that saved me a bunch of time.. I made a video on my swap, but now I have to do a part 2.. Thanks again bro..
hello, thanks for the video, it was really helpful! I have one question. I swapped cluster to my charger 14, but I don't know how to change units on the cluster to metrics (mileage, temperature, fuel economy etc). I have changed units to metric on uconnect, but it does not affect to cluster, have you any suggestion? Maybe there is any option to do it by AlfaObd or Jscan? I tried with alfaobd but haven't seen option for this :( Thank you!
Unfortunately havent found any advises on forums. What you think - if I will find someone with charger 15+ and connect my cluster, change units on his uconnect, and put cluster back to my car - will this setting remain in cluster? Another option is to buy Canadian cluster with metric units by default?
@patrykw5678 honestly it might just be easier to sell your cluster and just buy a Canadian one. And then you can sell your cluster. Alfa obd is very particular and if you change one setting, it could brick your car
So finally got the tazer everything works except changing my mileage and also it’s stuck in US metric and I’m Canadian so we use km, how can I fix it? I tried with the radio and it works on the radio but doesn’t pop up on the cluster need help/advise thanks man
@@DavidProductions345 oh okay, so I have a 2013 sxt dodge charger, and if I wanted to go with a 2015 cluster I can do that? Just wanna do my research before I start purchasing items.
Hello, what kind of problem i'll have with a 2018+ cluster? Because i like Challenger's cluster with white speedos and was thinking to swap my oem 2012 Charger srt8 one. Thank you
I’m assuming the clusters are totally different. Never heard of someone swapping a challenger cluster into an older challenger. Doesn’t hurt to try but I’m pretty sure the plugs are totally different.
I have a 2014 dodge charger rt swap cluster and got a tazer for my car try to set it up with a 2015 cluster it not doing anything an I mad sure that the tazer work for my car

Dope! So with my AWD charger, I don't have to cycle through to get it to stay awd? I can just turn my traction control button off!?!?
Yes, I’m pretty sure as long as you have the tazer it should work. Never tried it without the tazer tho
Good video bro. Good information to know. 💯
Thank you I appreciate it!!
@@DavidProductions345 how did you bypass the can bus with the taser
I just wired it into the trunk. The double bypass is very helpful
How do you get the "ok" function to work? Everything else works fine for me, just "cruise+>" doesn't seem to work.
Sometimes it takes a few presses for t to work

Yeah my only guess would be an option in Alfa one maybe? You could try to look it up in the forums. You might have better luck with that.

Unfortunately Canadian cluster also did not help :( still mph, miles, mpg.. :(
Since the cluster is an analog one, aren’t there kph values that go higher to 300 I think?
1 thing ??? so the wiring is the same as ours too ?? for the cluster or you need like a extra wire or adapter or some ??
The cluster is plug and play into our generation!
You have a video of you installing it?
Yes I do! Gotta check out Part 1 of my cluster swap vids

Don’t know if you can honestly. I know you can make the Speedo read in km/h but idk about actual kilometers.
What did you did to fix the buttons not working?
You gotta get the tazer then they should all work
Apparently I got the 2019 cluster should I put that in my 2014 ?
The 15-17 will work no problem with tazer many people have trouble with 2018+
So with the cluster did you have to buy the same part number as your old cluster or you just bought any cluster?
Any cluster will do. Personal preference would be a 160 if you have an RT a 180 if SRT

Some of the gauges won’t work and the gas gauge won’t work. Just stick to getting a 15-17 so you won’t have any issues.

No not at all. Just the tazer
hey , i have question what if i put cluster from Police pursit charger? 2015, it has 5 speed and new cluster and it shows gears :D
what do u think ?
It’ll work fine. My cluster is from a pursuit as you can see it says MPH certified.
Did you have to get your mileage change or did it automatically kept the same mileage that you had on your old speedometer once made the swap??
Gotta change it with Alfa OBD
They got an OBD CALLED OBDLINK MX+ Can it be used to correct the mileage?
Yes that’s the one I used. Worked perfectly.
@@DavidProductions345 thank you bro have a blessed day 🙏 I deeply appreciate it

The S dissapear from the screen as i use the sport mode. Then i change to normal driving but... there is no S anywhere. I'm like 😶
