Whenever I'm climbing I'm always sure I look like Nino Schurter but in reality I'm the people in the background of this video that are struggling to push their bikes up
Nice work Christina...! 👍 #pinkbike : only 7:00 video? We all know that are some ather good riders and bikes to show up more. - At some point you must do better than that. -
My first ever mountainbike was a Dual Slalom Hardtail in the mid 2000s! Super rigid aluminum frame, 8 or 9 speed with very narrow gears, the first ever rock shox Pike with U-Turn, avid DH brakes with a 203mm rotor up front, a big fat bashguard and chainguide that weighted about 4kg alone, fat DH tires and of course 26“ wheels! Nobody thought about riding a fully at the dual slalom back then. In fact a few years on from 2005, nobody thought about dual slalom at all anymore.. Great to see it back and even get media coverage!
I don't think any reasonable person buys a bike specifically for dual slalom, they're only riding full suspension bikes because they're better for racing
@@davelogan77 I was about to tear off on you but realized, and hope, that your comment about telling men from women may have to do with masks, and not a judgment based on arm size (which some people are quite self conscious of).
Hehe..."the girl" is a mountain bike athlete. I get comments on my fit looking arms and shoulders after a summer of mountain biking too. They happen naturally managing high forces. Don't you have a similar experience?
first person to bring a hockey stick to a bike park
Where is the Grim Donut? That would be the best dual slalom bike.
i'm not sure about that
Having watched this, I still don't know what a dual slalom bike is.
Its just low, slack "aggressive" trail bike thats made to go fast
@@papasouzas9703 then why was that one guy riding a Giant anthom
@@matthewbjordahl2866 because it is slack due to the fork that was on it and fairly "low"
Chappetta is looking jacked!!!💪🏼

jesse melamed has the best looking bike at this dual slalom
Which one?
Love the riders hiking up in the back😂🥵
Chappetta looking sweet with ball cap backwards, sunglasses and hair over her shoulder. Wootwoo!
Watching this and all I can think is “so that’s who the other judge from Pinkbike academy is”
I love my thunderbolt!
and nobody's going to notice aunt Mir on the background at 0:58 LOL
Nice stick.
man the grim donut would do good here
R.I.P donut perhaps
He runs a 140 mm of travel for the Enduro, same as Jesse last year - great to see, a lot of stuff is just marketing 😎
Jebus Christina, leave some guns for the rest of us! (sweet bikes too, the last RM thunderbolt looked mean!)
Nice work Christina...! 👍

You don’t need a full suspension bike for slalom it’s only marketing.
Yes, the huge market for dual slalom bikes that are totally not modified so much that they hardly resemble the original bike anymore.

What happened with Jakob’s crash
Nothing like a hockey stick in the face
Best presenter in the world
how did they get a derraileur on the stitched 360?
That’s cool but I’d rather the grim donut
She got some arms doe
Its weird, these days, you have to be careful trying to tell men from women...
She's a racer. She's more fit than you.

@@dylangannon1576 pretty sure he was judging based on the arm size considering what comment he replied to

Hyper do high end bikes as well.
You’re probably the first person to ever to bring a hockey stick to a bike park
Its Canada so probaly not 🤔😂
Kona bikes❤😍
I always think Letty from TFATF took up MB
I wonder why most of them are using Rockshox pike instead of fox series.
Wow my ignorant self always asumed they used djs or some type of slope bike.
Which is correct, but most of racers now more used to , to current bikes.
@@gregorykulinski2186 that actually makes sense haha
