I'm shocked she can get pregnant after all those surgeries and medications. I know personality disorders can be passed on via the abuse and mental health maladjustments it can cause, in addition to whatever genetic predispositions, but what about this one? I mean she needs therapy no matter what but what are the real chances or signs she's going to be a terrible mother? I hope she gets TLC out of her life and lets some kind of motherly instinct take over. God I hope so. Maybe she's playing tlc for a paycheck the way she was forced to have learned to play other things growing up ... She has no job skills, incredibly damaged social skills, and arrested development. Maybe this is good for her. something that could give her a sense of purpose. Who knows. Only Dr. Grande could speculate on a situation like this

This is like 16 and pregnant, but she's 32 (i think) . To me, personally, she doesn't seem very happy to be pregnant... She is not ready at all to take care of herself, much less a child... Hopefully, her BF will help and not just ditch her and the kid, literally or emotionally...

I just hope she gets some help or takes some parenting classes at least because she’s not living a private life after murdering her own mother, and that child may suffer the consequences of her actions just by relation.

With my daughter I found the freedom to be mourn my lost childhood and re-parent myself. Started processing during the pregnancy and now she's 20 I'm still finding new freedom to fly. I wish for everyone feeling good about yourself, especially if times are tough and kicking you real hard

Really appreciate Ken's take on this! Her saying she doesn't know anyone who wanted to be a mom when they got pregnant really rubbed me the wrong way. Just a very self centered way of speaking. So many people, myself included, struggled to be able to have healthy babies. I'm glad you addressed that.
Not so wild take that I'm sure everyone else is thinking as well: She's going to turn into her mother even though she says she won't. She's not going to do it the same way by faking illnesses and such, but she's going to use her child to cling to fame, which is what her mother did as well. It's already so baffling that she hasn't made the connection that her doing this reality show, all the media tours, and trying to be an influencer is precisely what her mother did as well. She needs to take Ken's advice and lead a private life.

Like I noticed with Nicole Brown Simpson’s sister recently on the View, especially her sister Denise… it was clear that spreading awareness about domestic violence was not just a talking point… but they had educated themselves in a way that extended far beyond the scope of their sister’s unfortunate.. demise. Because when they were asked what to do to help others, they said “educate yourself on the cycle of domestic violence dynamics” and went on to explain them. They also opened a foundation for her.
I’m not saying this young woman is a bad person but I have not heard her talk about Munchausen’s by proxy in a while despite her stated intention to increase public discourse about that disorder. Ultimately I think the way that she is uniquely so ripe for exploitation makes it very sad that she is on the reality tv train… because it may chew her up and spit her out at the end of the day.

i had an abusive mother too (she's still alive, I promise) and I was scared out of my mind when I found out I was pregnant. thoughts like "what if I'm just like her?" "what if my child is afraid of me like I was?" "what if I have no maternal instincts whatsoever" etc. etc. sure, as time went on and I felt him move and saw him on the ultrasounds I knew id love him but sometimes just loving someone isn't enough. thankfully all that went away when I held him. five (almost 6) years later and we're doing great!
I saw a tiktok that shared she put up a baby registry and it was bought out very quickly. So Gypsy added more. She's raking it in. Quite quick to enter adulthood when she didn't even really have a childhood.

After following this case for years, I was really hopeful that she'd get out of prison and lead a nice quiet life away from the public eye. It's really sad to see her life being made into a spectacle all over again.
The last person who should be having a baby. She needs therapy, she needs peace, she needs time. To mature, get herself together, grow, and develop.
Just hearing her talk makes me feel nothing but anger.
I don't know what her relationship with medicine is now, but I could see pregnancy being very traumatic for someone like her with the constant doctor visits, increasing symptoms, potential complications, and the intensity that comes with actually being in labor. I really hope that for her and the baby's sake, she's actively seeking counseling. I imagine her risk for PPD is exponential.

It's a law here in Michigan as well. Even if you started filing for divorce prior to becoming pregnant, you have to inform the court/judge or whoever that you are or may be pregnant, unless the divorce is already finalized, if it's not at that stage they make you wait until the child is born and do DNA testing
@alyssaheller7860 sadly it is a thing in Texas as well. I had a friend who was divorcing her abusive husband and the judge wouldn't allow them the divorce because it came out that she was pregnant. It's supposed to be like time to reconcile for the sake of the children (in my most sarcastic voice).

Their divorce won’t be finalized until dna testing proves Ryan isn’t the father. Unfortunately Ryan will have to go through the heartbreak of having to petition paternity testing to be removed and once that’s done they will grant the divorce.
I’m not sure I believe she ever lost contact with Ken to the level she claims. And she very much wanted to have a baby. She even says she went to an OB-gyn to “get on birth control” and she also had a follow up appt for her own fertility testing that she didn’t ended up cancelling bc she was already pregnant. But when with Ryan after release she took a Plan B pill?! 😅😅 She wanted desperately to have a baby, she just didn’t want it with Ryan and 100% she intentionally got pregnant “with Ken” as a way to permanently tie them together biologically. Was she already pregnant? Won’t know til she has an anatomy scan in the near future and that’s only if she decides to share that publicly.
My best guess is that Ryan knows the REAL GRB and has caller her out about it, and she believes Ken doesn’t know/see the REAL GRB. Its all very obviously calculated on her part and the whole thing looking like a “hot mess express” is a facade to try to hide how opportunistic and coldly calculated she is towards her relationship counterparts who most would assume be the dominant in their power dynamic. They are NOT. Ryan very clearly says no one is capable of “controlling” GRB. Which gives me serious pause and questions about how much of her abuse wasn’t actually abuse, but her own complicity in her mother’s deceptions. This girl is such a rabbit hole of drama that it’s becoming very clear what her intentions and patterns are. If she truly wanted anonymity, she wouldn’t have taken advantage of every opportunity at exposure.

Ken, I thank you so much for saying “2 people can be a family”. I’m 34 and struggle with fertility. My mindset was like Gypsy’s. I think it’s a societal idea. I would tell people that a “family” is mom, dad, child. This ideology hurts my heart. I haven’t given up though! However, I have a few health issues that the doctors are working out for me. Appointments every week to every other week. I think as long as Gypsy maintains a good support system, she will be okay. However, I can tell by her attitude that she seems too immature. I always felt I was mentally immature due to trauma so I’m actually glad I never got pregnant when I didn’t mean too. I’m in a much better place now mentally. I also agree not to put pressure on your child as to say they are a determining factor for anything. Just let them exist lol

There is evidence that her mother didn't have Munchausen, but that they where actually just committing medical fraud. It also appears that she wasn't ever able to trick the doctors into unnecessary surgeries, she actually has a genetic disorder that required them. That disorder didn't have any money attached to it, so they just lied and went with things that would garner more sympathy.
