- Based on a recommendation from a comment I decided to check this one out. If anybody can point me to a live version or even a video, please drop it in the comments. I used the audio only version from their channel.

"SSS" was not played in the live shows immediately after the album release, but it seems that they will include it in their summer tour.
What an incredibly energetic and phenomenal closer! Being the last song on the album, it clearly shows their determination to continue playing authentic and intense metal. It's remarkable to think that they planed to continue making such extraordinary metal music without slowing down, even though the band had been on hiatus, the bass had changed, and some members had become parents.
Among the many amazing songs on this album, I think "SSS" stands out as the masterpiece. Many people call it the best song. Just when you think, "Wow, this album was fantastic, the next song is the last one", you get hit with such an otherworldly song at the end. Laughter.
The tempo is very fast throughout, with cool phrases being delivered without a break amidst the machine-gun-like drumming. The vocalist's high notes are more exhilarating than ever and are truly remarkable. Miyako's composition, which combines neoclassical solos with thrash, has reached an incredible level.
My favorite metal song in years. Can't wait for the live version.
As calm and serene Miyako often seems when she's on stage, she really cooked up a raging thunderstorm composing this piece of music - my absolute favourite track of their most recent album!
They will release a live album sometime this year after they toured in Japan this summer.

In all my 40+ years of listening to heavy metal I never paid much attention to drumming, until I heard Haruna of Lovebites. She is absolutely insane on this track. My goodness is this fast, hard, and relentless.
From what I have heard, she wasn't like this during her years in Destrose. I think she went through body modification. Yes, she is a cyborg. All is left of her is her brain and spine. She is still small but weighs 200 kilos (around 400 pounds?) She can't float in water. I don't know which corporation does her maintenance.
We are all waiting with bated breath to see them do this one live.

These ladies are the most consummate band in the world right now. Brilliant songbook, awesome live performances, stellar musicianship - and that since 2016. And they are still getting better and better: their latest album is a suite of the best songs Metal has to offer.

This band is outstanding live. Recommend Awakening (intro) into The Hammer of Wrath live Tokyo. And yeah, all the Lovebites fans are excited to see this new album with their new bass player Fami in live action.

You picked a great band to start with. Good luck with the channel. Lovebites is definitely one of the best. You'll be getting plenty of suggestions for other songs. Let me recommend a few other bands to look at for the channel. I'd do reactions to Epica (my fav band), Nightwish, Ad Infinitum, Jinjer, Unleash the Archers, Arch Enemy, Amaranthe, Sabaton and Band-Maid... just to name a few ;)
I am pretty sure I missed it.
For me, this song is one of Miyako's best Lovebites compositions (out of about two dozen) - right up there with her songs Shadowmaker, Swan Song and Dystopia Symphony

That would not be very musical, as it would just be one note over and over. Rapid, but kind of monotonous.

Several options for your next Lovebites reaction. A thrash classic Break The Wall features two very different guitar solos, or Set The World on Fire which features the two guitarists doing some sick guitar harmony after their solos. Both of these are live from two different shows; but Lovebites really shines live. I am enjoying watching you discover this awesomely talented band. Miyako, the darkhaired guitarist is also a superb pianist and composes most of their music.
Thanks for getting to this so quickly. I mentioned in my other comment that some people are touting this as one of their best songs so far. No live version yet. This album has only been out a couple of months, but they will no doubt pull this out for their next tour. This is one of four songs on the album composed by Miyako, their resident genius. She shows, as always, enormous variety, and command of a wide range of influences.

As for "Soldier Stands Solitarily", I had a demo of it when I was working on the "Glory, Glory, to the World" EP (2021).
It had a completely different shape than this one, except for the chorus.
The chorus was punchy and had a good melody, so I wasn't satisfied with it as it was.
This time, I restructured it and reincarnated it.
In Miyako's mind, she thought the BPM was too fast, so Miyako said in her mind to Haruna(Dr), "I'm sorry," "If you lower this BPM, it will feel different!" she said.
So in Miyako's mind, Miyako said, "Haruna can play at this BPM," and"If you don't play like this, it won't sound cool!"
With that in mind, Miyako entered the bass line into the software.

Not sure I would include Swan Song, which is basically 6 minutes of non-stop doublebass by Haruna, when talking about slowing down lol. "Epilogue" would be a better example. Swan Song still a great choice to react to tho, especially with the etude.
My favorite band, was Iron Maiden for the longest time but these ladies stole that torch and are running with it. Nothing but amazing song after amazing song.

This is a track from their latest album. The ladies came back after an 18 months hiatus, with a new bassist. So far, there is no live content from their new album and only 2 official music videos for the songs"Judgement Day" and "Stand and Deliver".

“Masterpiece” is used regularly to describe Lovebites songs. It is not overused nor misplaced flattery. Until this song I refused to single out any one Lovebites song as a favourite because to me they all have something that all the others don’t have.
But this is just exceptional.
I’m seeing the band live later in the year. I’m booked for two gigs. If this is in the set, there will be a spare ticket for the second gig because I will have spontaneously combusted.
I kinda hope they don't play this one. Because I feel sorry for Haruna having to perform it! ( But I know she can do it! )

My fav song from their latest album. They haven't played this track LIVE yet (probably will be performed on their coming tour in August & September and hopefully, filmed). Miyako (the dark hair lead guitarist and pianist) composed & arranged this song and she's a bit of a prodigy & genius. She likes to add neoclassical motifs to the tracks she composes.
