As someone who is just getting into high powered rockets I gotta say there is just so much information available it was a little hard figuring out where to get started. So good idea for a video series I will definitely be keeping an eye out for future videos.
Hey I was looking forward to the series, I was so sure I was gonna just play KSP and wouldn't bother with this but you're making it really accessible lol
This was informative, especially for someone new to this hobby who often finds themselves overwhelmed with a lot of information. May I know what wallpaper you're using? It goes well with that triple monitor setup!
I've been waiting for part 2 from 5 months , mostly because our of a the videos I've watched on rocketry, yours was the most beginner friendly and understandable :))
Hi.. Seems like exactly what I wanted really really thank you. (But in my country I cant find or buy rocket motor or rocket kit/model rocket and exporting them is banned, what can I do in my case)
Hi, I'm not sure what country you're from, but I would look around and see if you can find a local rocketry club in your area -- they would know best about your local rules and regulations, along with where to get rocket motors. If you can't find a kit, it is also possible to scratch build. It's a bit harder as a beginner to do but it's rewarding and is an option. On the other hand, in some countries rocketry is not really a viable hobby to pursue -- and this may be the case for you. If there are any rocketry clubs in your country that is a good sign that it is possible to do. Best of luck and clear skies -- I hope you're able to get into the hobby!
I'm really interested in the hobby and I appreciate your effort in giving good information. There is one thing though, perhaps it's my 65 yrs. on this 🌏planet but I couldn't watch but for a few minutes. Why ? because my right ear was blasted by the music while your narration was on the left ear and too quiet. Switch things around ie. quieter music, louder speaking voice, and blend the two channels, rather than distinct audio separation, just an amateur mistake.
Yes! I have the next one about halfway done -- its a bit on the longer end as its to do with motor classifications and types so its taking longer to edit (plus life gets in the way sometimes) but it should be out some time soon
Yeah I hadn't realized that it was only recorder on one channel until after the video was put together. Gonna play around with it for the next one to hopefully get it recording on both
where is the next video. ive been trying to get into rockets as an aero engineering student ..anyone with info feel free to leave a mention for other youtubers/clubs/organizations and other ways to learn and etc
@@PulsarPropulsionLab awesome ! apreciate the reply . i have finals this week it will be cool to be able to watch some videos in the next two weeks but i know holidays sometimes get in the way as well, so with that being said HAPPY HOLIDAYS !
Also making rocket fuel isn't dangerous if you're not using open flame, and you're not going higher than medium heat. That's IF you're making it into a liquid. Most of the time all you need is 2 powder ingredients, such as Potassium Nitrate and Powdered sugar.
It absolutely is dangerous any time you are working with a pressurized vessel. Even if you do not burn yourself (a relatively minor concern) you are still at great risk of having shrapnel from what are basically pipe bombs that most beginners make with sugar motors. Please be safe and responsible.
@@PulsarPropulsionLab Who makes rocket fuel inside of a pressurized vessel? Literally Potassium Nitrate and Sugar can be turned into a liquid on medium heat, plenty of people do it with no issues. I don't think you've properly done your research and are just fear mongering as usual.
@@PulsarPropulsionLab Your little rocket motor you buy can go off on you without notice. Common rifle cartridges explode constantly, there's even a recall on some 308 ammunition made in Turkey. The fact is you're a coward, that's why you are stuck using stuff made by companies.

Is the rocket you showed for Mid Power at 2:04 a kit?
Yep! It's the Sirius Rocketry Eradicator: www.siriusrocketry.biz/ishop/sirius-rocketry-eradicator-29mm-1332.html
Please keep them coming
Got another one in the works!
Great info!!
Where’s part 2 !!!!! 😢
Cant find the rest of the series :(

All I ask is that you record your voice on both channels, and take the music down by half.
Yeah I hadn't realized that it was only recorder on one channel until after the video was put together. Gonna play around with it for the next one to hopefully get it recording on both

Episode 2 is being put together. I had most of it recorded and then realized the sound was weird the whole time, so I had to re-record the whole thing

Happy to help!

The music is way too loud my guy
NAR and Tripoli are "consumer" groups not real rocketry! If you want the worldwide rocketry organization join the URA! 😁👍✌
follow up or delete
Good video, good info. Lose the music.
can you jumpstart this series please......
Really?high power rocket fly using water?😅
