Fellow Craftsman, I am watching a lot of items. Here in Europe, especially The Netherlands,We have for hundreds of years many different kind of floors Tapis We call these Floors Heringbone,Hungaran points,or more complicated styles. I have great respect for all Crafstman! I noticed, the difference of woods used normally per Continent. I am 30 years in the Craft, and watching with pleasure. I will never ever comment on others works system,or results. I work with very selected colleagues for same period. I am not arrogant, have the best equipment available. I am not the only one,I know. This helps a lot!
I am a homeowner trying to restore my floors. I was just watching a few videos of people using those "rejuvenate" pour and mop on floor treatments. It sounds like they work like a bandaid rather than fixing the problem. I didn't know those products were wax based.
In the area I live in (N. Texas) the going rate for a complete sand, stain and seal is $3/sqft so it is pretty affordable to get it stripped down to the bare wood and re-do the whole thing. (In the process of getting ours done now.)
Jason my floors are 73 yrs old any suggestions on a screen and recoat. I have already bought ProCoat 2 Gallons Titan 2 part I have the buffer I have 3 types sandpaper 220,160,120, I also think I need to strip down one room since it has rubbed on wax from 10 years ago. I’m getting everything ready starting in January
Good morning Jason on the above video why wouldn’t you do a lower grit sandpaper to try and remove the very dark areas of the floor. To the right of Fireplace.
Just bought a house and it’s a 99 yr old house. I believe the floors are original but the have rough gaps and discoloration. I want to know if this process you just posted would work for my floors and if so how would you point me in the right direction with tools and Proprietary chemicals
If it's water based, it will break down naturally. I clean my latex paint brushes, buckets, and roller pans with water and dump those on the grass in my backyard too. No harm since dirt, sand and rocks are natural filters.

Wow I cannot believe that you just dumped all of those toxic chemicals on to the lawn without a thought as to how bad that's for not only the lawn, not to mention whatever animals go near there, dogs or cats birds squirrels you name it. That is very unsafe and the very irresponsible way to dispose of those chemicals. It should have been dumped into a bucket, and brought to the proper disposal area rather than just throwing it into the environment like that. That was very disappointing to see

Looks good Jason when you poly the floor does a line show since you do half a floor then the other half.

It’s tough to say without seeing a picture of what the floors look like
What if I don’t want the high gloss finish, but prefer a matte finish?
Really good idea, pour that dirty wax, polish water on the lawn.😂
YEAH YOU KNOW THE ROOT LINE OF THE TREES WERE RIGHT THERE TOO

What was the product?
Jason what is the guarantee that you give to customers?
Jason when you say preparatory solution do you real mean a Neutral cleaner.
Why didn’t you move the piano?
What screen did you use?
On this particular job we utilized a grit of 60 for out sandpaper
No screen was actually used

My floors are SO much worse after lots of rescue pups skidding around for years on them. If you ever want a BIG challenge, come on up to PA! :)
Same same
That poor lawn

Sandless? You might as well sand with all the work being done. Why not sand over this process?
What was the name of the Stripping Agent?
@@TGS2AUSA2024 zep floor stripper
He talks a lot about what he's doing ,but not much information about the materials and solutions that he is using.

@@elitefloor1I check online, but didn’t see anything about your courses. Where I can find some information about those courses?
Then why did you make a giant click bait video?
That's what I'm wondering!
sand free but used a sander
$1200.00 is not really a fraction of the cost. That’s still pretty expensive.
You can by what ever finish you want.
