She's trying to nurse. That's why she also tried to settle down in between his legs. His legs simulated/stimulated nursing in a litter as she was "packed in" and had warmth on both sides.

That's what I did with my kitten. She never had siblings or much mothering and she bit so hard and scratched. I used small physical punishments like a parent would and now she is gentle, but still sharp as.

She's testing her jaw strength when she bites and watches for a reaction if biting to hard. When our deceased dog was a small puppy she would be in my lap biting on my finger and it woudn't hurt at all, over time her muscles got stronger and she was biting harder and harder until I began to react to the bites, then as she would bite she would be looking at me dead in the eye waiting for a reaction of when she was biting too hard. As soon as she saw my reaction of discomfort I could feel her immediatly back off as to not hurt me. It was all about stregnthening and testing her knew found strength as a growing pup. And how to bite without hurting. It was funny how she looked at me knowing I want to bite without hurting you, but didnt know how hard until seeing my reaction.

She does make her food look very appetizing & it's also so cute how she kind of dips her face in the bowl, and then licks it off of her lips but doesn't put her tongue in the water -she's quite a pretty girl too...
She is so adorable. Thank you for saving her and giving her a loving home. She needs to be picked up and kept close to your body. She is missing the body warmth of her mother and siblings. Hug her close to you as much as possible......... And put a small blanket or towel on your lap and pick her up and put her on the blanket in your lap. She needs the close feeling of cuddling. She needs a lot of that......
