I think he could've survived but we will truly never know. As for the show, because he's a fan favourite and one of the righer rated character there could be a chance they make him survive. But we will have to wait and see
He's dead, his body wasn't found because he wasn't strapped into his dragons saddle. It would be crazy if he survived a fall from that height, at that age.
Caraxes and Vhagar absorbed 80% of the fall into the gods eye mostly Vhagar though seeing as her gigantic size would’ve impacted first and caused the water to ripple allowing for potential that Daemon could’ve survived impact…if he did not survive his body should’ve been washed ashore eventually with the remains of either dragon.
He did manage to dismount Caraxes and drive Dark sister into Aemonds eye socket where it was recovered once the corpses went to shore. I’d imagine both bodies would’ve been found if both actaully perished, but I truly believe this was intentionally left vague as Martin probably didn’t want to kill Daemon.
@@JaxThaStuntman I think it’s far more likely his body sank or washed up on the island on the gods eye. The impact would have killed anyone, daemon wasn’t strapped in and wasn’t a young man. The boiling waters and injuries would have finished him off We both got no proof and just have to make Our own assessments
He probably survived and was wounded and ended up floating on the shore of the isle of faces and given his connection to the trees he probably played his own part similar to Bryndan rivers in order to prepare humanity for the long night
It was heavy implied that he did since his body was never found and also speculations about him going with nettles
