Lived in Hong Kong for a while a long time ago. There was a place I went to that made only Takoyaki. My mother would take me there something like once a week to get me a dozen. They made them right in front of you (not specifically for you, they were making a hundred at the same time basically all the time). Some of the best food I have ever eaten in the world.

You couldn't really get away with not calling items by native/commonly accepted names in Britain. Like imagine the outrage if you called Fondue, French Shabu-Shabu.

My mother would take me there something like once a week to get me a dozen. They made them right in front of you (not specifically for you, they were making a hundred at the same time basically all the time).
