2008 Recession era : GTA 4, dark broody, a story about rags to slightly better rags. Set in Stand-in for New York. 2013 "liberalization" of politics, Corporate apogee era : A story about immateriality of the American Dream. Main themes are deceit, self delusion and corruption. Characters struggle to get paid, despite being surrounded by opulence and wealth. Set in stand-in for Los Angeles. 2024 America is seriously struggling, revenue gap is astronomical, homelessness and desperation is rampant. Social media have commodified culture in a way that has never been seen. Set in stand-in for Miami/South Florida. R* doesn't choose their settings at random, or because it's that city's turn. I think the next one will be interesting.
I would LOVE GTA to take a more RDR2 approach to weapons. Keeping the big ones in your car and taking them out as needed. Giving more emphasis to your vehicle. Also disallow you to just walk into any place armed to the teeth making you think more about what you are doing. Maybe some options for missions would be to plant weapons beforehand, kind of like hitman. Just imagine pulling up to the location of a mission, opening your boot and seeing your collection of weapons you've brought along and then choosing which would be best for the job. However I doubt we'll see GTA go that direction. It's more of an arcadey kind of game and a lot of people, including their primary audience didn't like that aspect in RDR2. While they liked the game they didn't like those immersive aspects. Letting you lose your weapons if you leave them behind would make going weapon shopping more of a thing but yet again I bet people would hate that.
I’m right with you here. I thought the gunfights in red dead felt amazing, and exchanging quick frantic pistol shots with much better armed opponents while scrambling for your car to get an ar or a shotgun or a full size smg or something sounds amazing to me. Plus that system would hopefully mean a far better experience when it comes to building a garage beyond looks. Going into enemy territory? Armored Suv with more weapons and run flat tires. Good for cover and helping you through a fight, but not as good for getaways. Going racing in the city? Fast supercar. Sure you may only be able to fit a compact rifle or an uzi in it, but it’s speed and maneuverability will give you an edge. I love the idea.
They could that heist customization from Cayo Perico/Casino Heist it just there won't be many "heist" mission types, and standard missions don't need that level of customization, then again they can also introduce GTA IV mechanic where you can call someone and they will park in some alley waiting for you to buy weapons from them.

Yep. When GTA4 came out, people compared it to San Andreas and complained how many features it took out - planes, parachutes, character customisation and stats, vehicle customisation, etc. GTA5 brought back many of these features and was well received. It was only later that people began reflecting on GTA4 and started comparing it to GTA5. It's a common trend in many game series where people like to directly compare a game to a previous one and complain about what it took out, until the next game comes out and the cycle repeats.

I’ve always tried to play GTA5’s story mode at least once a year or so and each time is always a great time. To me it’s always been the most well rounded game in the series. I’d say 4 has a better story but the driving was lesser than 5s at least for me. Genuinely looking forward to 6, I have a feeling that’s going to be another gaming event just like 5 was when it released! In fact that was the last midnight release I ever went to for a video game. It’s wild that it’s been 11 years already..
Regarding the protagonists personal vehicles, they shouldn't be able to be changed in my opinion. Cars are as big of a part of Michael, Trevor and Franklin character design as their go-to outfits. They perfectly represent what they value, represent and care for. Michael tries to stay under the radar, yet be capable at any moment, so he has a sporty black sedan. Franklin is youthful, ambitious and straight forward, so he has a brand new muscle car. And Trevor doesn't give a shit, so he has a complete shitbox. Cars are paired with certain characters for a reason. James Bond and the Aston Martin, VIN Diesel and the Charger in Fast and Furious, and Walter White and the FUCKING PONTIAC AZTEC. Each fictional character has a certain vehicle for a reason and it's an piece of writing
I played this game and stole a nice ride. Despawned when i helped a robbery victim. Got another good car and went to suburban. It was robbed and my car despawned again.
In my opinion I don’t think GTA should make alot of sense because it not making alot of sense just makes the game feel more like GTA unlike Red Dead on the other hand were realism actually fits well.
Story mode won't get as wacky as Saints Row, the newer GTAs have always kept a sense of realism even in ridiculous situations... Online is a different story though

Nice Video fizhy, i share your opinion for that game. And im interessted in seeing what comes next, i personally hope for another myth video on rdr1,2 or gta4,5 but i will see. Well done tho for this one
Gta 5 is the 2th best gta game of all time, gta 4 is the best story in have the best mien character
IV > V. The map for GTA V bored me after about a year.
We will miss gta 5 once everyone is used to gta 6..
It's a common trend in many game series where people like to directly compare a game to a previous one and complain about what it took out, until the next game comes out and the cycle repeats.
wait til ppl play as this sexy lil chica who we're supposed to believe can knockout men, who gets into Heat style shootouts and is hard... yeesh
Hello Fizhy , I really enjoyed your urban myths video on gta 4 and you mentioned rdr2 so i was wondering if u could do a rdr2 urban myth video
YO!!✨ Love GTV!! EARLY FOR THE PARTY!!🌟💓 great vid!!✨
Bro you still going to do a livestream playthrough of this game?
It was really fun seeing you play it when you did the streams but stopped it. And now if you do it please do it here on UA-cam instead of Twitch❤
Yeah I’m thinking a UA-cam stream series when I can bring myself to do it
@@Fizhy Yeah and now that you've played it on your own fully once, it will be even more fun to see you playing fully through it.
Can't wait for this series bro much love :)❤
Bro did it again 🙏 Cheers mate
I’ve always tried to play GTA5’s story mode at least once a year or so and each time is always a great time. To me it’s always been the most well rounded game in the series. I’d say 4 has a better story but the driving was lesser than 5s at least for me. Genuinely looking forward to 6, I have a feeling that’s going to be another gaming event just like 5 was when it released! In fact that was the last midnight release I ever went to for a video game. It’s wild that it’s been 11 years already..
keep up the good work
can not wait to watch this masterpiece
I'd love videos about these side missions. For GTA5 RDRD GTA4.
Will there be a streamed playthrough, if there isn’t one already somewhere? Really enjoyed the gta lv streams
Great watch 👊🏿
Literally just re-downloaded this game the other day lmao
Was the scooter brothers not a nod to the scooter brothers GTA 4 video?
Yes I believe it was. Which is why they might have put that in.
Classic 4playerpodcast
I personally didn't like the storyline or Trevor, so i killed him and never returned to the game.
It'll be GTAV in 2035 at this rate.
Ah yes the most awarded multiplayer game ever that smart people play Solo😂
I only play lspdfr[PoliceModforGta5] while playing gtav and gta4 doesnt work for me.
Well... Nice video
I played this game and stole a nice ride. Despawned when i helped a robbery victim. Got another good car and went to suburban. It was robbed and my car despawned again.
go to the impound garage to get your car back
Did you know that in Prologue T stands for Trevor and M stands for Michael?
In my opinion I don’t think GTA should make alot of sense because it not making alot of sense just makes the game feel more like GTA unlike Red Dead on the other hand were realism actually fits well.
3:47 I will never forgive rockstar for this
More RDR2 lore pls
Gta 5 2024❤❤
I liked this game.
Heck yeah i love ur gta content
When did you start playing GTA5 and what made you do many videos about it so late ?
BIG W
BIG MAN
W new Fizhy video
Ps4 gta 5 ps4 slim version nelson lerena 35 los santos and don chetto el sonidito 2024
I can't wait to play GTA VI and never play the Online mode because I already know it'll be horrendously greedy lol
Your modified vehicles are impounded and can be found at the police station in LSC
It’s actually any vehicle the player has drove previously. The last 3 cars you use and just abandon end up at the impound garage.
1:40 don't think an introduction is needed now after a decade..
18:19 so both France and Africa exist? I wonder where else
Do you think that Franklin or Michael, or Trevor will return to GTA 6.
Despwaned cars go to the police impound lot
Florida man simulator just could be the craziest thing ever or another saints row
Story mode won't get as wacky as Saints Row, the newer GTAs have always kept a sense of realism even in ridiculous situations... Online is a different story though
Are you playing cs2?
Never completed gta 4 but did off watchin ur video on it an I do well prefer it to gta 5
