I am so appreciative of r c sproul. A man like this is s gift to this world. I cannot believe that so many people disparage him. As a former orthodox jew who is now a devout christian i am thankful for learning the bible from r c sproul. I have listened to many other pastors and no one comes close to the presentation of the bible with such education and speaking skills to deliver the word of lord jesus christ. Amen.
From a Jewish background it is easy for you or anyone coming from a pagan religion to appreciate RC. But when the majority of Christians (true and false) from childhood grow on man centred gospel/ prosperity gospel it damages a lot. So, it is much more difficult to convert a "false Christian" than others.
@@grahamdavidrajan i regard r c sproul as a teacher because i do not know the new testament. I believe in the gospel with no works and no laws. Salvation is simple.
Ananias of Damascus called by The Lord to go to Straight Street, where Paul has been since blinded by the Lord on the road to Damascus. The one I have chosen to carry my name, to be the vessel to carry My name. The one I will teach the suffering to be endured, in My Hands to bear My name before Kings, Gentiles, Jews. The task is heavy, weightiest of all - carry the Name of Jesus, suffer for My sake. Dr. Sproul drives the message into our hearts. Preacher Teacher still this moment. Guiding me, strengthens me for he has told the heaviness, suffering to endure to carry the name of Jesus. On Straight Street, The Lord calls us all. All the Glory to God. Amen ♥️✝️🕊️
I think we should all keep this in mind when evaluating Ananias response to God's command. Most if not all of us would likely respond the same way given the context and ferocious reputation of Saul at this time in world and Church history. How many times did the Apostles (even after performing miracles after being given authority by Christ) not get it and exercise a lack of faith and trust. God maintained his command and Ananias obeyed, but he did not excoriate him.

Wasn’t Saul’s Roman citizenship also advantageous in God using him to spread the gospel?
Yes he was a Roman citizen.
Acts is made up fiction.
