For anyone in that situation, know that sometimes the bravest thing isn't the easiest, but sometimes only way you can break free is to get help, no matter how scary. If my mom hadn't, I would be alive.

I was so naive and sooooo head over heels that I didn’t realize how terrible he treated me, if I was insulting my self he would squeeze my arms or smack my head hard, grab some of my flesh and twist until I said sorry, etc he said it was to teach me a lesson and that I brought it up on myself. All of that just made me feel worse this is my second time listening to this video because it really means a lot. Your videos make me feel happy Thank you for being you.

Reminds me of my parents. My biological father is an asshole, and that's putting it nicely. He would abuse my mom verbally and sometimes would hit her. My stepdad, who at the time was my mom's best friend would offer to let her and is kids stay at his house for the weekend to get away from my father. Best guy friends are the best!!!!
