When I was a senior in high school, I was one of several students chosen to talk to some incoming freshmen and answer any questions. One of the guys asked me about the best hookup places on campus, and I straight up told him that he’d have to discuss that with his peers because I didn’t feel comfortable talking about that with someone 4 years younger than I. How did she not think about that when she was in her 30s?
Colleen seems to really struggle with boundaries and impulse control. She’s also very lonely and insecure- this makes her incredibly needy. That’s a lot for a peer to take on, let alone a teenager who cannot relate to anything she’s telling him.

When I look back at any inappropriate conversations that happened between me as a teenager and an adult only occurred bc I was either trying to be polite, not trying to seem rude or offensive, or I just didn’t want whatever relationship I had with that a person who was hanging out with me ( even thought they were too old to be) to end. My mother groomed me exactly like this and discussed her childhood trauma, parenting woes (of ME and my siblings), and her marriage with me around the exact same age range (14-16yo). I have secondhand PTSD from the level of trauma dumping she burdened me with and I have disowned her. The more people talk about it, the more Adam has to say about it.

He came out with his story like 3 years ago when he was still 17 or 16. And I believe his parents backed him up too and told Colleen to never speak or come in contact with him in any shape or form ever again. Colleen just sent him a hate train by basically manipulating her minor fans. And he got death threats and his family got death threats too. And everyone just called him a liar because Colleen's friends, like James Charles (which by the way was also accused of grooming and pedophilia) supported her, and for some reason people believed him? Which was weird. But hey, I didn't even hear about any of these 3 years ago so I have no idea what actually happened and why it turned out that way, so I'm not gonna blame anyone for siding with Colleen. By that time, Colleen made a video to somehow 'address' the rumours surrounding her involving Adam, and everyone who watched her video all threw shade at Adam saying that he was a liar and attention seeker etc even when he posted his side of the story which gave much more explanation and vivid screenshots of what really happened. At the time, he's still quite young and imagine if all the people didn't believe what YOU said even with you exposing all of Colleen's disgusting behaviour etc. You would feel like everyone's against you and that no one was on your side, hence he sort of dropped it over time, until recently other people started to share their similar experiences with Colleen that he was able to speak up about it.

So how come he didn’t speak or his parents about this at the time? What that lady did was wrong yes, but there needs to be more awareness about kids speaking up when these things happen and nip it in the bud right then and there. Coming out years later makes it harder to have the predators jailed, I mean she’s singing songs on her yt instead of behind bars
He came out with his story like 3 years ago when he was still 17 or 16. And I believe his parents backed him up too and told Colleen to never speak or come in contact with him in any shape or form ever again. Colleen just sent him a hate train by basically manipulating her minor fans. And he got death threats and his family got death threats too. And everyone just called him a liar because Colleen's friends, like James Charles (which by the way was also accused of grooming and pedophilia) supported her, and for some reason people believed him? Which was weird. But hey, I didn't even hear about any of these 3 years ago so I have no idea what actually happened and why it turned out that way, so I'm not gonna blame anyone for siding with Colleen. She was just a very manipulative person. But, it's really fucked up to think that these 30-year old adults did all these to a minor.
He tried exposing this early on which was probably hard because of their power dynamic. Colleen had more influence over him after all and he was just a CHILD when this all went down, but he did do it. It's just that no one listened to him until someone else spoke about like a few weeks ago.

Let's not forget that when he was having these conversations with Colleen, he was a loyal fan and treated Colleen as his closest friend, as someone whom he trusted.
And by the time he realised it was wrong, he told his mom about it, and his mom had to confront Colleen via Instagram about it. By that time, Colleen made a video to somehow 'address' the rumours surrounding her involving Adam, and everyone who watched her video all threw shade at Adam saying that he was a liar and attention seeker etc even when he posted his side of the story which gave much more explanation and vivid screenshots of what really happened.
At the time, he's still quite young and imagine if all the people didn't believe what YOU said even with you exposing all of Colleen's disgusting behaviour etc. You would feel like everyone's against you and that no one was on your side, hence he sort of dropped it over time, until recently other people started to share their similar experiences with Colleen that he was able to speak up about it.
It's difficult to tell parents when you don't understand it yourself at a young age and under pressure
Part of grooming is having the parents believe that you're safe. Adam's parents were kept in the dark about the abuse until it became conspicuous.
