Ah man,the story of you calling your mom in the middle of the night just gets me ❤😢 I lost my mom a year ago this Saturday, and I just had twins (kiddos #2&3) almost 5 months ago now. As well as a 19 month old. It’s been ROUGH. I know you appreciate your mom and never take that for granted, it’s so heartwarming to hear how you can call on her in the middle of the night like that ❤ I would give anything to have my mom here with me at this time of my life, by far the hardest thing/year I’ve experienced
I’m so sorry for your loss- I lost my Mom 5yrs ago, & there’s just something about being a Mom without yours. It’s a missing that never stops, & it doesn’t matter how old you are- you never stop wanting your Mama. Sending love. 🤍

I'm so sorry for the loss of your mom. I know how hard it is for you right now, although my oldest was 4 when I had my twins. My mom lived 3K miles away, but I could call her on the phone. It's true that you will long for these days someday. This too shall pass. (Read my very long comment from tonight if you can find it.)❤
Awwwwwwww, and I lost my mom 7 years ago!! It was one of the hardest time for me, and was 16 when she passed on December 8th 2017. Miss her everyday, and wasn’t a day that goes by where she’s not thinking 🤔 of me!! I’m really sry for ur loss, and praying 🙏🏻 for u.
I love that the twins have turned into cuddlers!! I remember when they were babies, neither one cuddled much.

Im now pregnant with my 3rd son and I dont know if its the hormones making it worse but your singing voice being so angelic just made me wanna cry.

my mom passed away weeks before i had my son ,
she passed october 14 and i had my son november 7th at 35 weeks gestation
all i wanted was my mom but sadly i couldn't :(

Twins are hard! There were many nights after a physically exhausting day while I was rocking one of my twins to sleep wanting nothing more than my own mom to hold me. Sadly, once I had my twins, everyone quit checking on me.😢

It isn't true for everyone, but I'm 23 and sometimes I still cuddle my parents. It doesn't have to go away, I find the deepest comfort in being in their presence and nothing helps my mental health more than a hug from my dad. It doesn't have to go away.

My twins are at the same cute age. My little boy (2 years, 3 months) says “hold you” also. Means he wants to be picked up or he wants me to help him balance etc. my little girl is a fireball! TTQ: What are some things that the kids are obsessed with doing? My mom and i recently discussed the topic a few days ago. As a child, whenever there was a camera around, i would take my pointer fingers and make an upside down V shape under my chin, and i would smile very big. She has no idea where that ever came from! (I started doing it whenever i was 2-3yrs old) 😅 my brother was super hyper as a kid and would get easily cranky. She can't remember how it started but she would do this thing with my brother if he was cranky or bored. She would pick him up and hold him at her waist infront of her. She would grab ahold of his wrist or hands. She would lean forward as he leaned back and he would do a slow backflip down onto the ground. He was absolutely obsessed with doing it! He did it literally until he was to big for my mom to hold him! 😂❤

Holding and cuddling your kids, being sleep deprived tired exhausted, knowing it won't last forever and trying to hold onto those moments, thats a parent. a friend is a mother of 7 and adopted mother of 9, WWII Korea Vietnam vet, and she still adopts and fosters kids and pets even at her advanced age, but she has so much patience for all the kids and the noise and the craziness (think Trace Adkins' song that goes dogs parking phone ringing one kids crying one kids screaming, but times 10). She still talks about the kids and her own kids and how she misses not holding them as little ones and cuddling. She says it doesn't matter the age you can always cuddle with your parent or grandparent.

When I finally conceived, with the assistance of a specialist, I miscarried that precious little being, that I had longed to mother since my childhood. That first, very special one. Those lyrics,

I have to tell you, I'm much older than most of your fans. I enjoy watching your precious children happily playing, being silly, and having so much fun!
