Look it up if you see/hear a lot and still don't know it or if you simply want to know it's meaning.

I use a dictionary that translates words on mouse hover on text. It doesn't help if there's too many unknown words but it helps with a handful of words and I can choose one of them to make a flashcard with if I want. The process is fairly quick since it's on mouse hover, I waste less time looking things up.

Extremely relieved to have been from the beginning one of those people who doesnt mind easy content if I'm able to comprehend a decent amount of it. It's taken a bit to get used to more ambiguity than I was at first, and I'm definitely not someone who can just do flashcards and smack myself against content I can only pick words out of for 9 months until I get it, which is rough for languages with limited amounts of content for learners (I'm looking at you, Arabic), but...man I am relieved to be in the excited-by-CI-videos camp.

It's okay to not look up words and it's ok not to look them up.

I would say it depends on the frequency of the word.

I have a problem. I’m learning English my level by known stuff of the language isn’t basic, but still I keeep struggling with my listening a lot ni matter how hard I practice and my problem is that I have an aye disability which does sent allow me to listen and look at the subtitules at the same time. I don’t know how to fix my listening. If I only hear the content and don’t understand how am I supposed to match the sounds. It’s frustrating when you know a lot but when you play a movie or series you don’t understand more than 40% even if you could’ve understood 90%
