Just want to say you're the only channel I watch these days that ACTUALLY PUTS LINKS IN THE DESCRIPTION.
I don't know if everyone else's publishing team doesn't watch the whole video, but it's crazy making. Thank you for being awesome

I love the creative presentation and focus on motivation. Language study is a longterm project. Keeping motivated is essential. I think I spent the first five years focusing regularly on motivation, until it eventually just became a part of me.

Shout-out to my fellow kids who speed-ran the summer reading programs and wound up with suspicious librarians quizzing us about the books to make sure we'd actually read them…
At this point I'm still at graded reader level, but I'm looking forward to being able to try Korean YA books. I've already started keeping a list of titles that have been recommended.
Also, the Teach Yourself A Language class is excellent and I would definitely recommend it. If you're the sort of person who can roll your own project plan from scratch and stick to it, you might do well on your own. But if you find you learn better when you're going through a structured curriculum that was thoughtfully developed to lead students through developing new skills and habits, you might want to consider it.

If I read a kid's book in Dutch people would ask questions.
But then again, I am Dutch.

I started to reading that book at the beginning of my journey in albanian. But, it was so difficult. Short books for children can be a good start.
