The switching is consistent because they only switch when they use their powers at the same time. They are able to use their powers and not switch if no one else is using their powers at that time. It also gets mentioned briefly that they can continue using their powers after switching without switching again, but when they stop using their powers, then if they activate them at the same time they can switch again.

@Rakhim99 they touch on specifics when they're on the spaceship but honestly a lot of the important lines of dialogue in this movie are "blink and you'll miss it"
The captain marvel movie was not one of the worst mcu projects lmao. You saying you saw 3 movies that were better than this one then immediately admitting you never saw this one yet is hilarious. Don't base your opinions on the ones of others. Reactions like this where it's immediately negative are not a good look

Captain Marvel is a good movie, much better than some of Thor or Iron Man, but the haters are bent on discrediting CM and everything she does. They are ridiculous
Kamala x-gene is the ability to shape the noor from the noor dimension, the bangle unlocked her ability to access the noor from the other dimension, so no, she doesn't need it, but it's her's so she keeps it lmao
Also, carol didn't need the bangle to restart the sun, she just did it
Omg i LOVE THE MARVELS! It’s like a comic book coming to life! The camera work, colors and the action! Omf Brie ❤ she delivered the best Captain Marvel ever - obviously Carol now is for the first time ever - on her own skin! Such a development omg! Her invulnerable hero side and her vulnerable humanity. She started jaded and tired with all the pressure on her shoulders, alone.. and ends up loving being part of a team! We saw more layers to Carol’s personality. She couldn’t act on her max power, always holding back, so they wouldn’t randomly switch. Plus the fact that the bangle Dar-Benn wore weakened her. That made they think about real Great team ups! Awesome. Oh Kamala oh boy!!!!! She’s a delight! Monica so cool! Everything here is amazing. Their chemistry is out of this world! Goose and the Flerkittens! ❤ The flaws are normal, nothing we haven’t seen in the MCU before. Love it so much! So good to see my fave Captain Marvel back ❤
This was the first Marvel movie I did not watch in theathers (mainly cause I didn't have time) and I wauted until it was released on Disney+ as well and I can say I genueinly enjoyed it a lot, especially the chemistry between the trio and Kamala's family is great as always
