Thank you!! I bought my kettle at a charity shop and it had this issue. I guess this was why the former owner handed it away... UA-cam tutorials is gold 😀
I recently had the same issue, but the fix didn't work for me. First, one of the screws required a U-shaped screwdriver bit, which I had (thanks AEG for making lives easy). Then, I unplugged the light connector, screwed the kettle bottom back, and plugged it: It immediately started flashing and beeping again 😞. This makes me think that this beeping and flashing is just a general error warning, not specific to any particular error, although the LED failure may be the most common one. For now I will prepare my morning tea in the microwave oven.
Disconnecting the LEDs is just easing the failing power supply. The root cause is the yellow capacitor loosing capacity over time. Replace it and it will work fine again
Did you happen to know the part number of the capacitor, or an equivalent one? From what I could gather it's a 0.47uF X2 safety capacitor but I can't find one in the right pitch(distance between the leads). I might be missing something due to being kind of new to real components(mostly dealt with theoretical)
Seems like the original capacitor is no longer manufactured but I found a potential replacement. original part number: UTX HQX474K0275IAYCCL15S potential replacement part: B32922C3474K000 PS. The lead pitch was 15mm, I measure wrong which resulted in my previous message
I ended up replacing the yellow capacitor(UTX HQX474K0275IAYCCL15S) with a new one(R533I347050P3K) and now the boiler works again, I could even plug the light back in. Measuring the capacitance of the old yellow capacitor showed 0.16uF which is way below the rated 0.47uF. Thank you @lukasandrysik3666
Thanks it has worked well up to now with your tip. But now I have a new problem. The boiler only starts boiling if there is less than 500 ml water in it. Do you have any tip to fix this problem too?
Te hago una consulta. Tengo una pava moulinex mate que cuando la apoyo en la base queda haciendo el " beep " continuamente y no corta el ruido. La saco de la base y la vuelvo a apoyar y me vuelve a hacer lo mismo...que sera ?
thx for sharing! any idea what else could be causing this.. it still beeps after removing the plug like described. .. i have the 7550 though, but it looks identical
hat funktioniert, danke! allerdings konnte ich eine (sicherheits-) schraube nicht lösen. konnte den boden aber 1-2cm abheben und das lichtkabel durchtrennen.
Mine is beeping every 1-2 seconds after I did a warm up session. Then I need to wait 30 minutes until I can get it to work again. Very distressing. Would that procedure eliminate that problem as well? I've read somewhere, that there might be a pressure sensor on top that kinda gets stuck and causes this continuous beep problem... Thanks a lot for the video and keep up the great work! 😀 👍
Well I can't help you on this because I already done it and glue it and that's for cannot disassemble to show you how to do it it's not so hard but if you have no idea for electronics it's better not to do it

Alguna otra manera?
It worked for 1 year after disconnecting the light. But after that, the same issue started again! What do I unplug now =D

Help!!!)))))....kettle flows! How to fix leakage? Thank you!!
Point where is flow?
.....in the lower part, at the bottom where the sensor is, or near water level fixing
I disassemble it and glue it with the epoxy the halls where the water inserts to the level indicator
....how to disassemble, how to disassemble correctly in order not to damage the electronic part....
Well I can't help you on this because I already done it and glue it and that's for cannot disassemble to show you how to do it
it's not so hard
