Like as trolly his questions might be from time to time I really appreciate the level and depth of the questions he can come up with. Even questions that have been asked like what Books he reads. Here Ruddy actually has his own book to recommend giving more interaction and more depth to the question. The effort at a Korean based dad joke was fun to see and even picking up on things like how Faker understands most of what he says. This was a fun interview to see and it was executed finely,
Honestly the way people twisted his words before (the moment he said something out of regular stuff..) I’m not surprised. And from what I’ve seen he is pretty playful and sarcastic with people he is close with.
If you know Faker well, you can see him actually wanting to laugh at many moments but just hold it in for his concept. The fact that you made him smirk even just once is very shocking and amazing, Ruddy! Please interview him again when everything is done then he’s going to just let his laughter out. This is the result of years of millions of ppl analyzing every little micro second of you, gesture, movement, etc, it must be SO exhausting to him. I appreciate the interviewer's effort to humanize the pro player by asking human interest questions, their hobbies... Etc. and does it in a humorous manner. But Faker prolly thought he was on a candid camera, the poker face and short answers.
In a korean interview a few years back, Faker mentioned that he intentionally tries to keep his cool and stay somewhat emotionless during tournies. So getting 2 laughs off him is surely an impressive work!! XD

Great interview! I didn’t expect Faker to join in on the jokes like Showmaker, but I personally find his serious personality, no matter the situation, to be really entertaining. It was super funny to see him so out of his comfort zone. I also loved the depth of the serious questions-it felt refreshingly different from the usual. I'm Korean and I want to say that I don't misunderstand. Faker said that he acts like a robot during the season preparation because he has to focus on the game, and he meditates a lot and things like that. That's why he doesn't smile much, but it's not that he doesn't smile in particular. If I interview him again during the off-season, I think he'll smile a lot.
I'm pretty sure he found some of it funny but decided to go ahead with the most PR answers... Either way so glad to see him haha. Rly cute and the bibimbap joke was actually funny 😂

페이커는 시즌중에는 분위기 살리기 위해 창의적인 답변을 찾거나 그런거 못하는것 같아. 단지 질문을 잘 듣고 답변을 할뿐이지. 최근 인터뷰중 가장 성의있게 준비된 질문들이야. 덕분에 재미있게 봤어. 페이커도 쑥스러워하는 성격있어서 티는 잘 안나더라도 속으론 많이 놀랐을걸. 좋은 영상 고마워! :)

FINALLY we get an interviewer who deviates from the same old boring questions and actually tries (i use the verb try, because with Faker it's VERY hard) to get unusual and interesting answers about different topics. Nice!
This one is probably my favorite so far cuz of how short his answers were and how unfazed he seemed but he still laughed like twice!

It's impressive how you put together serious and light hearted questions, and maintaing humor and respect throughout the interview. I know Faker and rest of T1 must be hard to get hold of but I would love to listen to a podcast length, long interview with them😢

First time watching an interview of yours Ruddy and I have to commend you for your professionalism mixed in with the right amount of aloofness to ease any sort of awkwardness. Very well prepared interview and I loved how you tried to incorporate some give and take with each question rather than just waiting for an answer and moving on to the next question.
As a long time fan of Faker, you did this short interview justice and I look forward to more interviews like this in the future.

I'm trying to get into interviewing more and want to do fun interviews and this was so well done and inspiring. Definitely taking a bunch of notes from this. I loved this haha.
I'm Korean and I want to say that I don't misunderstand. Faker said that he acts like a robot during the season preparation because he has to focus on the game, and he meditates a lot and things like that. That's why he doesn't smile much, but it's not that he doesn't smile in particular. If I interview him again during the off-season, I think he'll smile a lot.

Its the year 2054. Avoiding DonJake for most of his life after the interview, he gets careless. Its a false sense of security.
