I just wish anyone who has a chance to see this show, on tour, at a college, wherever, stays until the end of the show,, even if there are tough things to watch in it.The ending is SO GLORIOUS and so full of HOPE and you feel like something CAN be done about your situation, no matter what your situation is, even if it doesn't have to do with domestic violence, even if it's just you're stuck in your life and you feel you have no hope. YOU WALK OUT OF THAT THEATER WITH HOPE.
I'm still emotional typing this, Jessie's Tony video I've watched so many times because the night she sang it I turned her on to stop looking at the pulse nightclub coverage. I want to say THANK YOU Jessie for giving everyone that performance. I also have to say Nicolette you playing the FIRST black Jenna was truly inspiring!!! Your voice makes me want to listen can't wait to see back on Broadway!
This was so beautiful. I came for Sho (whose original music has meant so much to me), but each of these women is such a light...& you too, of course, Seth & James! 😉
I mean, excellent episode start to finish, the Jenna I saw was Jessie. 100% life was made with Jessie at 1:32:40 “my couch is gone” (not sure if that’s an inside joke or just referencing the Tonys clip set shifts) and her frantic “oh f*ck! Jenna doesn’t wear this much eye makeup!” thank you! Still laughing rewatching it now!
It's not simple to say, this was one of our favorite episodes of Stars in the House! Betsy was our first Jenna and then a year later we saw Nicolette and she really just cemented the show into our being. It's the first show where we went back for multiple visits. All the Jenna's have a certain Jenna-say-quah about them and are so special! Kudos to Seth and James for keeping the Theatre community close and doing all that they do!
OMG you said Jenna-say-quah I LOVE it! I speak French and I feel compelled to tell you what the phrase you're playing off of means, which you probably know but it makes it even better I think: Je ne sais quoi (I do not know what). "I do not know what" has come to mean a quality that you can't describe, like "she has this je ne sais quoi about her...." like you don't know how to describe how great she is, and I LOVE that you put Jenna's name in the phrase OMG amazing.

Betsyyy!💗💗💗
Nicolette singing 🔥💖🔥
the conversation about Flour dust reminded me of the stories told by Len Cariou about potting soil in the grave digging from Sweeney Todd. Yikes!
