This was made for Wargaming for their WoT channel with the break points, the "intro" sequence, being for when he transitions between sections of the tank. The Pz.1 is just small enough that the transitions happen allot closer together than they usually do with other tanks he's done in this series.
@Chris_Wooden_Eye Any video that The Chieftain does in conjunction with WoT support has to have this branding on it. His personal videos won't have them because he's in the same boat as us - it's freaking annoying to have constant guitar background, and loud ass intros, interludes, and outros. Although I'm curious as to whether he could edit out the background music and interludes for uploads to his personal channel.

The Italian L3 was relatively more spacious because it has no turret. I know because I have jumped inside at the tank museum outside Rome years ago and have talked to a veteran there. It was very difficult to climb in and once inside it was quite dark inside and I was amazed how primitive it looked and there are "peep holes" that can be closed by sliding the shutters blinding the view! Conversely it was equally difficult to bail out with the two heavy hatches closed. Perhaps it was the most useless tank ever conceived to be used in the desert especially it had very thin low quality armour between 8 to 13 mm thick easily holed with any anti-guns and if nearby also the 0.50 can create damage! Nope it's my not my tank at all especially because it was bolted/riveted (like all Italian tanks of tha period) that flew like bullets all around creating terrible wounds to the crews but it had good off road capability and was quite useful in anti-partisan warfare in ex-Yugoslavia because of it's diminutive size and was able to climb up to small villages with narrow roads...
I've been to Munster so many times whenever we visit dads old regiment when based in celle but have never made the short hop to Bovington..... sacrilege!
Hello Cheaftain or Nick whatever you please. Anyway question for your Q&A why was the .50cal mounted on the back of the turret of the sherman where no man in there right mind would man in combat.
It was intended as an anti aircraft mount. In order to elevate the gun, they needed to have the guy stand on the back so he could crouch down and still aim up as the big gun took up the height.

"...the trailing idler is of course much bigger than the other vehicles..." @6:37
Ah, I see you're running a secret competition to guess the correct wording... I shall choose 'wheel'.
Aw bless Mr. Moran, even he has the occasional Jingles moments too, so to speak.
Y'all are just trying to get him into the smallest vehicle you can think of, aren't you? That said, Italian L3 when?
Nah. Goliath.
Here's hoping for the AMX ELC and/or ELC EVEN. Musée des Blindés in Saumur has both.
I don't know why but the angle on the thumbnail makes the tank look weirdly elegant
I've been to Munster so many times whenever we visit dads old regiment when based in celle but have never made the short hop to Bovington..... sacrilege!
I play the game and have done for 4 years, and love theses videos a well.
I got 4 minutes in before the constant music and video links finally did my head in.
@The_Chieftain, how about an inside on the M10 Achilles
The Chieftain is gonna be wearing that thing like a dress.
Your in the Munster museum. They have a MBT 70 . Please please do a inside the hatch video on that.
@@TheChieftainsHatch But like you said on the IS7 i no man in there right mind would crew this anyway it's been nice speaking with you
"Strange Dirty Oil".... Thanks for the Video, Sir. ;o)
I was missing the chieftain's hatch... I thought he just run out of tanks to review...Thanks Thor almighty i was wrong! Now hurry up with part 2. We all want to know if you fit inside!

My God! The title cards and music. Scale it back 99%.
Compared to what would come later in only a few short years the Panzer I looks like something Santa would leave under your Christmas Tree
Re: The end appeal, perhaps the bean counters would < can't think of a reason > by giving a code that's useful for those of us already playing? Cross checking the numbers v the viewers of these or something?
