@@LeSpotteurFrançaisI highly recommend upgrading to PS5 if possible the experience is so much better and the routes are so much busier with all those routes you will love it.
Excited too with all Just Trains do. No route yet has got near to the brilliance of Blackpool Branches and this is going to be better setting a new benchmark.
I really like the fact that you’ll be able to hop between Blackpool branches and this one without coming out and going back in again. They should deffo do more of this kind of thing in future
Great video and details thanks pal. I can't wait either very excited best route on Tsw so far when released 100 miles wow!!. Love the Br blue era from growing up diesels and electric traction. Definitely be flying up an down there on a Class 390 great fun. I drive up to Scotland a lot over Shap summit with work see fright an cross country and 390's if I get lucky. Set in the 80's so I'm praying they release APT dlc in the future I'd drive the wheels off it haha. Thanks pal really enjoyed that video can't wait for more information and content soon.
Great Video Tin Tin, Can't wait to drive a class 87 on this dlc. I'm glad they're using mk3's coaches. What I'd like to see is being able to layer in mk3's on the Euston - Blackpool route if you own it.
Can't wait for this and i know you can't too, will be happy memories when i use to drive to Carlise irl, so looking forward to this. Just trains are the no.1 in route building for tsw.
Not sure if you’ve seen the new roadmap article from DtG but Just Trains have also announced that they’ve started development on loco DLC for this route and they’re saying “add even more highly anticipated variety”. Only one train I can think of that fits the bill and the era - APT.
I must admit I was sceptical about the choice of the Class 87, as I perceived that either the Class 86 or Class 90 had more 'mileage' in terms of transfer to other routes and being more Mixed Traffic type locos that have been used extensively on freight in addition to passenger workings. The next possible route could then be possibly the GEML. Tap on a Mk2 DBSO - after all TSW have German and American 'cabcars' but this method of operation isn't simulated in the UK (as yet). The DBSO could then be released as part of a Network Rail train pack with the trusty Class 37, then you've get a train that could appear on any modern day UK route?
Oh it's so difficult, I want WCML south and the 390 because its modern and looks great but it'll cost too much. The WCML over shap is more local to me and is a route I have been on in real life, a beautiful one at that; the 87 looks like such an interesting loco to drive. All I have to say is WCML south will probably be more interesting because it is more densely populated with trains but also more varying scenery and all sorts of cool junctions you only get on the southern side of the divide. But I know jt will do a stellar job with this and it will be so much prettier as per real life. I might just have to break the bank and get both if I can't I'm leaning more towards this.
Excellent! This is a good time to get into TSW. The back end of this year has a lot of good stuff confirmed. Do you play on console or PC? Thanks for watching by the way. ;-)
I consider that Just Trains have the right knowledge and passion for their chosen projects. Although I admit to having a greater interest for the 80s and 90s, I do view my interest in TSW as an alternative to a model railway. And what would I want to be able to do on that model railway - well to appreciate my investment I'd want to run as my of the trains in my collection in as prototypical manner as possible. As with Blackpool Branches Just Trains appear to have achieved that feat once again! With too many DTG routes they are and often remain small pockets of the railway with little variation in traffic with quiet and therefore soleless major termini - Crewe, Birmingham New Street, Manchester Piccadily... But Just Trains just seem to get what an enthusiast wants more thsn DTG themselves?
Getting the free TSW5 starter pack just so I can get this. I’m not that bothered about TSW5 tbh but DTG has finally seen sense by making great routes like this available to all and not hidden behind a paywall. 👍🏻 BR Blue is where it’s at for me evoking so many memories etc and along with Blackpool Branches will generally be heaven for me because the North West is my local stomping ground. Hopefully Just Trains will do the Settle - Carlisle line which would really put the icing on the cake for me. 🤞🏻I did fancy the WCML south dlc but bad reviews since the preview stream have put me off it at least until it drops in price in a sale.🤔 I DO want the Pendolino though so I’m going to have to bite the bullet and purchase that alone at full price just so I can blast it over Shap in free roam. 😉 Edit….Just Trains are apparently going to do their first separate loco dlc add on for this? If so it’s got to be a Class 96 with the 3 front windows hasn’t it? Preston - Carlisle in the 80s without this iconic staple locomotive for this route is an absolute must for me personally.
Do you mean the 86 as the loco dlc? Personally I’m hoping for the APT! Don’t be put off by others opinions on the WCML South. If there are any issues in that build they showed remember it was a dev build, they already said they are fixing some stuff. I’m saying this because I played it already when I was at Dovetail and really enjoyed it
@@TinTin_57 Sorry for the typo. Yeah I meant Class 86. Re WCML South. Yes it was a pre build but tbh I can’t see the quite serious faults being put right before sale in a few weeks? as we all know. DTG have a habit of not always fixing things and delivering what they should. ( Why demo a pre build in such a state ??? ) . Tbh I don’t trust them like I do Just Trains so it’s a case of hedging my bets and seeing how it develops and is developed on release. 🤔The APT of course would be great 👍🏻 but it would be of limited use compared to the Class 86 and no way should be made before the iconic Class 86 for a Preston - Carlisle route. Just my own personal opinion of course. 😊
i just pre ordered for ps5 a nice little discount instead of £59.99 it now £53.99 for the deluxe so i can t wait i think this will be the best one they ever dropped great video, great video

Thanks for the kind words Ian. I have the APT on Ts Classic and it is one of the best DTG DLC's out there. Recreated in TSW it would be awesome!

101 on this, to Morecambe and back, straight away 😍
Hell yeah!
Hyped for the 87. Of course if free roam we can put it on WCML South, too.
Yeah that’s the beauty of it. I’ll also have the Pendolino going upto Carlisle too!!
Wow, old intercity scotrail livery for class 47 wasn't expecting that I must have missed that in the article
They look good those liveries mate don't they?

I will flip out if it is mate! Have that in TS classic and it’s awesome there. Era fits perfectly too
I am sure they will make the Class 86 at least for this route and yes maybe the APT, fingers crossed.
I really hope it is. But as it says loco, then I doubt it.
I must admit I was sceptical about the choice of the Class 87, as I perceived that either the Class 86 or Class 90 had more 'mileage' in terms of transfer to other routes and being more Mixed Traffic type locos that have been used extensively on freight in addition to passenger workings. This is what I call a route add on. As usual Just Trains set the benchmark.
My new favourite route. Love the class 87.. . . Just need a good supply of fuses when you drive it. 😅
Yeah might have to fire up the 87 on WCML in TS Classic over the next few days! I may have to do the tutorials again as it's been ages lol

Do you think they'll add AI Class 87 traffic to Blackpool Branches seeing as thats got all the electrification catenary present
Maybe at Preston but Blackpool branches from where it starts outside Preston wouldn’t have been electrified then
@@TinTin_57 Oh yeah I mean just on the mainline to simulate the services passing through on the WCML
Wish this was set in the 1990s, with the MK3s and DVT. I think there's far too much BR blue in TSW. Hopefully we'll get a MK3 DVT eventually.
Over time I'm sure we will. It's one of the most requested things
You can't have too much BR Blue but I'm biased it's my favourite era thought I hope you get everything you want in game too 👍
