carlton jones in this video, for the background lighting I used a simple light. The GVM 50-RS RGB. Every video, it varies. Different light model and brand every time

This is one of the best videos for C Stands that I've come across, I've seen loads. What I really loved about this video is the way the guy is. A down to earth guy, very honest about the product, great advice and most importantly sharing his experience, which is priceless. As far as the self-tightening, I was playing with a GOBO Head and noticed that the friction between the GOBO and the Handle can cause the handle to move in the direction the GOBO is twisted. So when tightened, I believe there is enough friction for the force applied to the GOBO to incidentally tighten or loosen the Handle. I'd say always err on the side of safety, and make sure the Handles are facing the right from behind the C-Stand.

Very nice review. I find your videos very informative . Impact makes really good c stands but in my country it sells for about 450$ . I came to know about another c stand( E- image Lc S03) do you think they are good for overhead lights . Specs are quite similar to impact c stand but didn't find any reviews in the internet and what it is made of .
