Toyota Brony I know how to drive stick efficiently. I do not rev high, keep it below 65 on the freeway, I do not speed. 32 mpg is actually more City driving for my manual. 28 is lowest. I get 35 plus on the freeway most of the time.
@@djkenny1202 ya you will get far better mpg with a stick mine is a auto and it gets around 24-25 on the feeway @71mph. i had a 94 nissan sentra 5speed i was able to get 50mpg in hawaii not running the a/c and keeping at the 50 mile per hour speed limit

@Cahlager it’s a sub compact vehicle. Aka a hatchback. It’s funny. When u parked and compare between (example) Mercedes-Benz GLK, or Toyota rav4, those are small crossovers, vs. the xB is a big ass hatchback. None of the crossovers are not even close to the xB’s interior space. 70 cubic in. Or 69.9 to be exact, the crossovers have around between 45-58. Around there.
Downside to this vehicle is - thanks to the roof overhang - you can't see the traffic lights when you stop in front of them. It's like riding in a cave - driver sits so far from the windshield. If you're at the front of the line you'll have to keep ducking forward to check the traffic light status. Annoying. Yeah, I test-drove one of these once.
Just checked and I believe you may have had an issue on your end. When I rewatched it everything was synced properly. Thank you for informing me though!
The 2nd Gen xB's (2008+) all share the same engine as the Rav4 (which is the platform they are built on), Camry, and tC. They are awesome little cars (love my 2011) - I always describe it as a Rav4 with a different body... The issue is that there was a recall / service advisory about that specific engine block burning excessive amounts of oil. If it is still within a certain number of miles (can't remember off the top of my head), you can take it to a dealership for an oil consumption test where they change the oil (free), test the engine's internal containment pressure (warning, you might have to replace the valve cover gasket, if it is going bad, for them to do the test properly), then seal it up and hand it back to you. You then drive it for a number of miles (I think it was a couple thousand) without touching the oil filler cap or dipstick (keep the engine in its sealed condition), and at the end of the miles, bring it back for the consumption test. If it fails, you get free engine work / rebuild, or possibly a new block - can't say for sure because mine was in awesome condition.

I just bought a 2015 manual model for a great deal in March. The stick really helps it Move Out. I get 32 mpg average.
