Most recent I’ve been using a Pono ukulele. Tenor cutaway. I don’t know if they still have this one I bought it maybe 20 yes ago 😃
Can you put the finger placement on chords during strums?
Ah sorry! I guess my way of learning is to master the chords placement , then strum, then putting them all together! Mahalo for the suggestion!
Of course I like your tutorial! Alooooha, JJ. When you form the Bm chord, I like to bar it, but that's me. Sliding a chord from one to the other is a nice technique, even if the next chord means sliding just one finger. As long as it lends itself to the song you're plying. I try to do that when playing a Hawaiian song, trying to get that Hawaiian guitar sound. Notice the operative word in that sentence. "TRYING!"😁. JJ, I have to ask you again. Where do you purchase those awesome shirts? You told me once before, and I wrote it down, but with my dilly dally brain, I forgot where I rote it 🫤🤪. Nice to see you more often here. Aloha my friend! Much mahalo for enjoying this again! Yes I usually barre my Bm and similar chords also. I just showed a different way because there are those don’t enjoy barre chords and hopefully they liked it this way. I notice the word trying haha. But try try try again! 😃. This particular shirt is the “Tanoa” brand other shirts I got were gifts, or ones I found just shopping around at the mall. 🙌🏾😃
@@JJMilare JJ, you are right there, as some don't particularly care for barre chords. It's a matter of choice and ability. I messed up. When I mentioned try, I should have said, "tried." That ole' thumb of mine still prevents me from playing. Even at times I have difficulty with the bass. As sad and upsetting has it is, I've had a good run at playing. JJ, I will keep my peepers open for that shirt brand. They look like top quality. Only problem is, I don't like shopping at a mall. Have you heard that saying, "shop till you drop?" That applies to me, well, sort of. It's my wife that loves shopping, so I rephrase it by saying, "she shops, till I drop" 😜. But if I have to shop, I prefer to use a 🖱, as opposed to these 👟. Just "point and click," and 🙏it doesn't arrive broken. There are times when I receive a package and it looks as though it was used in the World Cup ⚽😂. Anyway, my friend, gotta run. @@JJMilare So kind of you. I appreciate the link very much. I have to confess, there is one store, now just one store mind you, that I prefer to shop/browse in person . . . and that be Guitar Center. Now if I was waaaay out in Fort Wayne, Indiana, I could spend a vacation walking around Sweetwater. That's where the reverse would happen. I shop till she drops 😂😂. It's funny. I think that our habits have changed somewhat ever since COVID. Just about everything we purchase now is online, even our groceries. We started going back to the grocery store until so many friends became sick with the variants. So my wife and I thought, "here we go again." COVID and it's by-products, so to speak, are with us permanently. It's the new reality. I have a friend who is a Pathologist, and I get all the virus updates from him. All that said, I hope you and your lovely wife stay healthy and safe, yes lovely as we got a glimpse of her in one of your videos . . . gee, I hope it's your wife 🥴. Just funnin. @@kelalamusic9258 wow I would love to visit sweetwater someday! But I’ll confess I can’t stay long at guitar center either haha. I’ll shop online then if I want to see the product in person I’ll go to guitar center just to see it and leave 😂. I haven’t tried shopping for groceries online yet but some friends of mine that I know so that. Oh wow you have the inside scoop since your friend is a pathologist, that is real good my friend being able to stay up to date with those things. Yes I have shown my wife on this channel briefly :). I am one lucky guy!

Oh no! What you can also do is just barre the 2nd frets of all strings with your pointer finger and the same for the 3rd fret. Let me know how that one goes!

This would be super easy for me, but the stupid B minor chord isn’t right! I tuned my ukulele, but it still doesn’t sound right! Love the tutorials, but bleehhhh
Hmm and all the strings are tuned? If it doesn’t sound right it might be a fret that’s off? What brand do you have?
