My children and grandchildren fill my heart, and the unconditional love I have for them allows me to understand more fully the love of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This was a marvelous presentation on so many aspects of motherhood and of course the main focus was on our most perfect mother Mary. No one lived the Will of God like Mary did. I would love to be able to go back in time and have a “do over “in my own motherhood.
A few months ago, I renewed my Marian consecration (33 Days) and some things I did not grasp the first time were all of Mary’s lessons at Cana and what she continues to do today.
She makes Our Lord aware of the problems of others; she intercedes for us because He won’t refuse His mother. The new lesson for me was her telling the others. “do what he tells you to do.” Thus teaching us to follow the will of God.
I offer for prayers on this Mother’s Day for all of us imperfect mothers and for the souls of all deceased mothers, especially mine.

Please pray for my mother, Jean,who died 3 years ago on June 8. Also my father, Ronald,who died a little over a year later.
Here in Britain we observe Mother's day on a different date [Laetare or Refreshment Sunday, 3 weeks before Easter, thhis yar it was March 10, next year it will be March 30.
