@@DivineMercy_Official hello Father I, have a question , the other day I attended a Latin mass, and so loved it❤, but I was baptized recently in the new mass, , would it be alright to attend to both mass cause the only problem with the Latin mass is that I like to go on the weekdays , but the Latin mass on.those days don't fit with my job hours, ,so can I attend. Monday through Friday at where I was baptized and holy days of obligations, and only on Sunday to the traditional Latin mass which I love more but due to my job I have to compromise thank u father God bkess❤

Happy Shavout/ Pentecost. Today as I walked out of my home. I saw a white dove hanging around . Felt the holy feast and the unconditional love of GOD 😘🕎✝️🕊❤🙏. The dove kept flying by this number 120. Didn't know why but then I did research found out there was only 120 people 😯🙏🤭🕎✝️🕊

Being Pentecost Sunday may I recommend a little book called The Holy Ghost Our Greatest Friend, He Who Loves Us Best, by Fr. Paul O’Sullivan. It has a daily Consecration to the Holy Ghost which is what Fr. Chris recommends that we pray to The Holy Spirit every day, it’s a beautiful little book and filled with prayers and enlightenment.
What an amazing story.

This was another great episode of Living Divine Mercy tonight about the Feast of Pentecost. Tonight I learned something so simple, but so important. I will now add to my prayers the three prayers to the Father, The OUR FATHER, the Son, THE JESUS PRAYER and the Holy Spirit, COME HOLY SPIRIT. We are so blessed to receive your weekly lessons which we can apply to our every day lives. I am so grateful for your role in my journey.
I offer prayers for the continued success of the Divine Mercy Academy and for Deacon Jason as he prepares to be ordained. He is an amazing deacon, and I know he will be an amazing priest. I understand the importance of Pentecost, but had always considered that the second most important festival of the Church was Christmas, with Pentecost ranking third. I think it a pity that we no longer extend the observance of Pentecost until the Saturday like we used to. However we do have the feasts of Our Lady, Mother of the Church on the Monday and Our Lord the Eternal High Priest on the Thursday, with of course, Trinity Sunday on the First Sunday after Pentecost.
Also anyone got any idea as to why many non-Catholics Christians refer to Pentecost as 'Whit Sunday'?

Jesse Romero has a story about... "No one can say 'Jesus is Lord' except by the Holy Spirit" - 1 Corinthians 12 3 ; that story is in relation to Richard Ramirez (aka The Night Stalker (serial killer from the 1980's)) which will probably give people a bit better understanding of that verse from the bible. the gist of it went sort of like this... when Jesse was working in the prison system back then he wanted to see if the prisoners there could say 'Jesus is Lord' but did not tell them anything (so the prisoners did not know what he was doing) and then started asking some etc and when he got to Richard Ramirez and asked him if he could say one simple thing he would go get him some of the guards food (which was apparently better than what the prisoners ate). so naturally Ramirez agreed to do it, so then Jesse asked him to say 'Jesus is Lord' and Richard tried, but could not do it. some other killers there could say it, but apparently the killers more directly tied to satan could not say it and Richard was one of those types.

In the eastern Rite Churches [both those in Communion with Rome and the Orthodox] observe Pentecost and Trinity concurrently, whilst we keep them consecutively. At one time the celebration of Pentecost in the Western Rite was extended until the Saturday [eve of Trinity Sunday], although this is no longer observed. The Monday in Pentecost Week is observed as Our Lady, Mother of the Church, and the Thursday is Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Eternal High priest.
There is an octave of Pentecost. It was celebrated up until the reform of the Mass after Vatican II
