The very first #FPV ride with my new car, Lasernut 93! Limited the throttle in "1st gear" to 35 % to get used to that car. It is such a fun! So powerful, so precise. This video is uncut (besides the opening sequence) so you can re-live this unique experience with me. And yes, one day we *will* climb up those roots! The car still needs some fine tuning, rear/brake/reverse lights, a better microphone position, … but I do like it already. 🥰 Look at the chapters to see what's going on. No, this was NOT intentionally filmed at 60 FPS and without RockSteady. :-( ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The car - Losi Lasernut U4 - modified sensored brushless Bison 4268, 2000 kV - Hobbywing Xerun XR8 PLUS, sensored hybrid - JX Ecoboost CLS6336HV 36kg Servo - BetaFPV ELRS Micro RX - 4S battery - self designed & 3D printed parts (*) RC & FPV Gear - DJI Googles 2 + TrueRC directional antennas - DJI O3 air unit + Arduino ARM - Radiomaster MT12 ELRS - mini audio recorder (*) www.printables.com/@NUeB/collections/1038540 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 00:00 Hello! Awesome bro, at last lol. Suspension looks real good on that thing off road so it's cool to see unstabilized footage sometimes. Definitely has the power. Looks like the only reason it couldn't go up the hill was cause of the moss which is just crazy slick. 4s and 2000kv seems like a good approach though. Looks like good speed even at 35%. ESC definitely sounds powerful. Your sensored setup looks like it would be able to "do it all", but for heavy climbing or heavy obstacles it's just basically limited by the tire grip or ground clearance. I know guys often just quick swap tires in and out but I hate that process. They used to make these cheap RC toys back in the day where you could push a button and make claws come out of the tires lol. Was their cool gimmick for when you wanted to crawl over anything. Cool idea, just basically impossible to implement on a hobby grade rc.
True. When the O3 arrived on friday I was expecting another mishap to delay the maiden ride once more… but went lucky this time. Just forgot to check the camera settings - but as you say, this reveals the good suspension and a firm camera mount. I'm happy with the motor setup, too; sensored is gold. Those roots were damn slippery and it is about 45 ° slope there. Gonna try that on a dry day… With the 35 % I measured 29 kph (18 mph) on the soccer field. But on the wet artificial turf the car started drifting ad higher speed and I did not want to do a barrel roll on the very first day already. 😆 Although I tipped it over at low speed once, but the camera protecting frame did it's job flawless. 😊
@@NUeB_RCFPVGotta love the dog interactions and it seems to give off a good impression to them lol. I like how the first dog is smart enough to realize there must be a human around controlling it and it sort of looks around for you.
Maybe I'll get enough scenes for a cars & dogs special? 😉 So far all dogs seemed rather cool 'bout it or a bit interested "ah, smells like human - of course".
@@NUeB_RCFPVLumenier has this new antenna that's much longer for the O3. I just tested it out and it works pretty good. "Lumenier AXII Duality HD 2.4/5.8GHz Dual-Band Antenna for DJI O3" It's backordered on getfpv now though.. The main reason I wanted it was because it would give me the extra length to allow full bending of the antenna during flips without straining the connectors. Somehow I still literally damaged it that exact same way flipping it just right and ripping the connectors off lol. Just poor engineering on my part.. Anyway if you can get your hands on it you might get more range with it.
@@Magneticitist I was using DJI antenna w/ extension cable… but after destroying some more of those frogging fragile cables (and maybe 2 antennas too) I already ordered FlyFish antennas, 50 mm longer than DJI. So, your hint is very much appreciated, thanks pal! 🤜 I also 2 Lumenier AXII right now, but the only dealer who has them is on holidays right now. - So happy I could borrow that antenna from tiny WLToys, or Lasernut's maiden 'd have been delayed again. 😆

Excellent FPV .. super footage. Go Lasernut!
Awesome setup! Lasernut looks like a great choice of fpv platform 👍big tires good suspension. Nicely done #rcfpv machine

You have the same idea that I did! Although I'm going to use a hdzero drone vtx and camera. But same basic idea! Awesome!
There quite a few ppl out on YT doing some serious #FPV driving. Check out @Magnetcitist and @ChaddRainsFPV for example.
@@NUeB_RCFPV nice! cheers
