My wife and I had a coach trip to Stratford upon Avon and absolutely loved it. I would put it at number one best place to visit just for the amazing buildings.
Hi Dan, You should have paid at the Motorhome meter as it is cheaper (used to be than for cars), it says to not camp overnight but I have stayed on many occasions with no issues used to use the facillities in the Leisure Center before covid, after Stratford you should go to Moreton-In-Marsh, then Stow-On-The-Wold & Bourton-on-the-Water & Burford all really nice places and not far from Stratford, I have also spent the night at Stow in the motorhome, at both the Car park near tesco and the other car park at the other side of stow which is better for larger Motorhomes, Stow has a pub that is over 1000 years old with parts of the building from 947AD the Porch House(edit just checked prices online and they have gone up a lot last year overnight was £2 for motorhomes)
Hi Dan and Mazzy, thank you, you both got soaked to video this for us 😅😅. Would you believe, we have been there, that was our first stop on our UK trip back in 2016, we were lucky enough to go through Shakespeare’ house where he was born, it was as you can imagine, very old and very rickety, but amazing.. I hope you found a toilet dear Mazzy.. That whole town is soo lovely.. Take care and love always ❤️❤️❤️❌❌❌
Weird - I live in Stratford, but rarely go into Town, but my partner and I walked in on Valentine’s Day - about 3 hours later than you, and had a superb lunch in Loxley’s. Not sure where the video of the rest of the trip is, but you turned back at the Windmill about half a mile before you would have got to Holy Trinity church with Shakespeare’s grave.
We're in south wales and visit stratford upon avon every year it's a stunning place, not sure if Ludlow is on your list but you must visit if you get the chance as your like us we love the tudor and old property's beautiful!!! great video guys xx
Loved that tour thanks and what a lovely place to stay not sure the house prices in that area...Ok guys take care of these high winds that are cumming in the next few days, we have Storm Dudley tomora night bringing winds at least 80mph as we are in the Amber zone here in West Coast of Scotland
Hi Dan and Mazzy what a great place so many buildings which make you think your in the olden days , i have been years ago and hired a boat when the sun was out.. thank you for sharing . Take care Both .
Fabulous town, thank you for such a lovely video showing us around. Shame about the museums, it's on our travel list but thank you, we will visit in the spring to get the most from the place. Stunning buildings and it's all so interesting, dont forget to look up!! Oh and cod roe, I love it, it is fish eggs as you said but it's compressed into tins and served as a patty covered in batter. It's not to everyone's taste but worth a try. Look forward this series and thank you again xx
Great video as always I do like this series and if you get chance to visit any of these towns then you won't be disappointed for their history all are close enough to each other too...Shrewsbury,Ludlow,Bridgnorth,Bewdley,Worcester, to name but a few😁
Hi guys, it’s nice to see Stratford not rammed with people, which is how it normally looks. I used to visit frequently when I lived in Worcestershire, I moved to Somerset 4 years ago but my daughter is very local to Stratford and I recently took the grandchildren there when on babysitting duty. I love roe & chips - always 2 pieces of roe though. (Geoff)
Hi guy's , I first want to say i love your channel and I've seen all your videos. Here are a few idea's to get new subscribers to your channel as you deserve more followers as your content is excellent. There are 32 UNESCO HERITAGE SITES in uk , THE WILD ALTANTIC WAY is over 2600km of beauty , MOST HAUNTED places in Britain or take a trip over to NORMADY and visit all the war sites. Lots of people especially Americans would love to see all those adventures either way if you just uploaded a video about the weather I would still watch it.
I live in Corsham, Wiltshire which is lovely with the old houses etc but not much to do although we're up the road from Lacock which is beautiful. Enjoyed you're video as I love Tudor period
On my doorstep. Best place for me. The Falstaff is very haunted, they do ghost hunts. The large building by the park was the RSC. ❤️ Glad you ❤️ Stratford. Agree No 23 !!!
Lovely Stratford. Only 20 miles away from our home and so we visit often. We have never took the motorhome there though for an overnight stay. There's an idea. My cousin used to be a head chef at the original Stratford Hilton Hotel, now known as the Crowne Plaza. Happy memories and great to see your filming of the town. Dave and Sophie x
We’re very lucky to call this our nearest town. It’s absolutely beautiful. I’m glad you think it should be much higher up the list as it’s so historical and stunning. It’s packed with tourists in the summer who come from all over the World to visit. The famous RSC (Royal Shakespeare Company) Theatre is right on the river which has seen many a famous actor grace it’s stage or indeed come to watch. Shakespeare’s birthplace is right in the centre which you either didn’t find or didn’t film (on this vlog). Looking forward to seeing Part 2 as there’s so much more to see…❣️
My home town! I haven't lived there for a long time but was back last weekend! Really hope you enjoy it. Find the sunken gardens and Holy Trinity church, and head down to Lucy's Mill. Beautiful. There used to be a Brass Rubbing Centre sort of behind the theatre, that was fantastic, but it closed down. Shame really
Interesting to see round Stratford upon Avon , where probably it’s most famous son William Shakespeare was born. A very nice town with lots of interesting history. Very enjoyable guys.
Shakespeare's character Falstaff appears in the plays Henry IV Part 1, Henry IV part 2, and is referenced in Henry V. He is a companion of young Prince Hal, who later becomes King Henry V. Dan and Mazzy, if you have time, I highly recommend watching Kenneth Branagh's movie of Henry V.
I was hoping you were going to visit Stratford at some point and there you are! The butterfly house and the other side of the river are worth checking at as well, plenty to see in Stratford :)
I enjoyed your visit to Stratford on Avon. My great grandmother was born there and christened in the Holy Trinity church in March 1875. She spent her married life in Hunmanby.
I have mixed feelings on Stratford. My late mum lived there and it can be a nightmare in the summer trying to get in and out due to the high visitor numbers. Lovely to visit, not so lovely to live in...
The Museum you looked at has a ghost. Lots of people have been touched whilst walking around but it's a naughty ghost as it had pushed someone down the stairs in the past or so it was claimed. It was the over lander show you attended in Stratford. The FourTea's you walked past is also an amazing place to eat. 1940s style restaurant
Talk about rose coloured spectacles , Stratford is ok for a visit but to live here with the traffic , road works ,and ugly buildings which appear every time the council allows the planning vandals free range to demolish old buildings and put up another brick monstrosity means the town I live in and grew up is is just another ordinary town trying to keep afloat on the memory of very great writer and is a tourist trap which only has bus parks but no bus station .
You can get Cod Roe in all the chip shops round London you should try it it’s a hard roe which means it has been cooked in a can first then the chip shops then slice it about 1.5 inches thick and they then batter it you usually have to order it and it is absolutely delicious
Holy Trinity Church, where you can visit the grave of William Shakespeare, is on the banks of the River Avon in Stratford-upon-Avon's Old Town. It's a half-mile, 10-minute walk from the town centre.
It about 30 years since I was there apart from going to Stafford drag race wick is not far from there Ann heather ways home cottage just not far from were you guys was
I used to cycle to Stratford sometimes. It's very busy in the summer normally. My parents live a few miles away from there now.
My wife and I had a coach trip to Stratford upon Avon and absolutely loved it. I would put it at number one best place to visit just for the amazing buildings.
Thank you it doesn't deserve 23rd. Definitely not.

What a lovely place enjoyed the tour totally opposite to yesterdays tour. It's the old building that makes it for me.

It's a by law in Stratford-upon-Avon, that the ladies and gents public toilets must be at least 500 yards apart.
I love the towns you go to with the all the history. This was a terrific town. ❤️
I was hoping you were going to visit Stratford at some point and there you are!

I stayed in the mucure hotel a few years ago before the Colouring book virus hit. It wasn’t all that good to honest but the town is lovely xx
