    Just a tip, when using the term something is "cheaper" it makes it sound like it doesn't have the quality of its name brand equal. You could always say it's "less expensive" or "cost efficient" makes the item sound equal in quality to the name brand.

    Good morning, I was watching to learn more about the markers. My question is, if using regular printer paper, do you have to apply heat right away or can we store it and iron it on another day? also does this rule apply to the laser paper as well? thank you any help on this is appreciated. btw nice job explaining on how to use the markers

    • @MakersGonnaLearn
      @MakersGonnaLearn  3 роки тому +5

      good question! I don't see why you'd need to transfer it immediately. The ink requires heat to transfer, so I don't think letting it sit for a few days would impact its ability to transfer. Always worth trying!

    Can it be filled in? I noticed the original image is a block colour, but you only went with an outline. Was there a reason for that? Would it bleed, or were you just being conservative!? Do the pens work as well if you draw on something directly, by hand? And also, do they work say on tumblers in the mug press? So many questions, ha! Thanks! 😅

    could infusible ink markers be used with toner reactive foil? Like if I did exactly what you did with that coaster but then after that I put minq toner reactive foil over the coaster and heat pressed it, would it foil the paw print? If not, does cricut make toner pens compatible with maker?

    I keep trying these setup for the infusible markers on paper but it won't do all the lines. I did reseat the cricut infusible pen a couple times, still not drawing all the lines. I'll keep trying but very disappointed at the product. Thanks for the info. It helped a lot in trying to find the settings which can be frustrating every time I change materials. I may try putting 2 pages and taping them see if that will work. Wish me luck.

    Thank you for the great video! Question though....Even though all the types of markers are awesome, my OCD kicks in and it drives me CRAZZZZY to see the "starting dot" of ink on every letter and area of where/when the Cricut has to lift the marker up and continue writing. Plus, it looks very unprofessional if you are making something for a customer that has writing on it with markers (Haven't tried pens yet).
    If you understand what I am trying to explain with this dot of heavy ink, then is there ANY WAY of hiding this? Maybe do 2 passes?

      So, only Cricut has the technology to have fonts “fill in” with the Cricut. These are called Writing Fonts. There are no 3rd party (meaning non-Cricut brand) fonts that can do this. So, we use our fonts mainly for vinyl, Iron-On, and print then cut! :) We don’t use our Cricut to write often. You can fill in the words by hand if you'd like.

    Hi there, thanks again for another perfect video and taking the time to do and share this. I do have a question for you, since you seem to be (almost) the only one around here who answers them : in Design Space, I can't add more than 4 materials to my favorites, when I first got my Maker 3 a year ago, it worked out fine, but for a few months now, it doesn't work anymore. And the weird thing is the message I get, because on top of my screen, there is some sort of red banner that says : ... there was a problem removing your favorite material ... ???? I'm trying to add, not to remove any. I tried to delete all the materials in my list, to be able to start over again, but after 4 items, it just doesn't let me add any more. Tried to reach the Customer Service, which is very very difficult (I'm in Germany, so I tried the one over here), and their CHAT is BS, because it's a computer generated chat, so forget that. Thanks for dropping me a line if you have a solution. Have a good Day. Dany

    Can I please have a link for the paper you use? I want to use infusible ink markers for a memory bear with someone’s handwriting that passed away

    Overtime does the infusible ink wash out or get messed up if you put a cup that sweats on the coaster?

      Not that we've ever noticed! But if you're worried about it, feel free to seal it with Minwax Polycrylic: amzn.to/2KzC588

    I'm new to the Cricut world, so sorry if this is a dumb question. I want to try the infusible ink, but need to know is butcher paper the same as parchment paper? Don't want to use the wrong thing. Thanks in advance

      It is not the same. I don’t remember what video I watched, but it was the one with the green palm leaf. He says specifically that it’s different and are not interchangeable. Check out that video 🙂. Good luck
