Id say Woodstock 99 was the final goodbye from good music. Almost every major act had a one of there best sets. Jamiroquai, Alanis Morissette, Limp bizkit, Bush... The list goes on...
I dare say that Cold Contagious is the best song in their catalog, and it's a shame they didn't play it after after this tour, or at least not regularly.
I think Greedy Fly is one of their best. I saw them in 96’ before the album had come out and was blown away by that song. Couldn’t wait to hear it again.
Me........ .Bush was/is the British Nirvana And simply put..he CAN sing. Lyrics are amazing......Heavy British Rock/Grunge. They have NEVER had the true credit they deserve. And this particular set in Germany is very very good.......still sounds completely fresh right now 2023. Oh Gav......your duet singing 'Would' live is very good. All credit to you.
A great live band from an amazing era. Alternative rock was so huge in the nineties even after Kurts death. Smashing Pumpkins, Bush, STP, Silverchair, Faith no more, RHCP; RATM...and the list goes on. Maybe Bush was not the most innovative of the bunch, but they were truly giftet songwriters and great instrumentalists plus an amazing live band. I saw them many times and Gavin pulled off these live shows back in the day like a fkn icon with a haunting voice and an and unmatched stage presence. The '97 show in a small club was pure madness. Bush came on stage rather late, but immediately turned the club into a madhouse. Sweat dripped from the ceiling and the crowd had the time of their lives. I also remember one show in 2000 where they brought a small newcomer band with them called Muse...needless to say that this concert night was fantastic as well.
I agree except Bush were actually very innovative and had their completely own unique ambient Grunge vibe going on lead by Gavin, an extremely stand out band and its why they sold millions.
Saw them last year with Breaking Benjamin and Alice in Chains. They were so amazing that I bought tickets to go see them again this year the weekend before Thanksgiving with Bad Wolves.
In this same year I was 16, and Bush came to my country Argentina, and play in a Festival... I love the band, for my birthday someone gift me Razorblade Suitcase cd, and I was crazy with them.. But I was too young and I hadn t the money to go, and my family either. So the day of the Festival me and my brother (twins) were sad, and then my father came from work and saw us.. He took us to the stadium, he put a sport t shirt, and we carry a sport bag....then he said,' we go the stadium ,you are gone entry, just say you go for sports..' (the stadium was a sport arena called Ferro) Arrive there, in cab, my father was a cab driver then... We talk to the control people and they believe us.. we get into the Stadium vía basket ball arena first and then a túnel, a door, and the principal camp.... White big Lights, crazy people jumping, and the biggest Screen i ve ever seen at my short life, with a foreground of Gavin Rossdale with a spit in his face.. I know you can realize that feeling, from nothing to all... Yes that feeling. When i have an internal discusión about how my father have to be, why this why that, I try yo remember that effort he made for us. Apparently during that day my dad went several times to the Stadium trying to think the way to get us inside, obviusly withouth paying because they were very very economic hard times. Finilly he could find the way. That was my first show, That same night I could see to Bush, to No Doubt and someone called David Bowie...
Great story brother. What a great man your father was to do this for you. I come from a wealthy family, but have never known my father, so in ways we are opposite, but man, I envy you. I hope you are well. Rob from Australia.
That is just a father doing for his children what they never done for him stay blessed and bless your fathers heart. Beautiful memory I do similar things for my kids and I just see the energy and light in their eyes and it makes it all worth it

Holy shit! Great job BUSH! Rocked the hell out man! I watched it twice back to back. Not even kidding, something about this set really impressed me. I love you guys, always have, but this performance is something special!
I do really like this band. I'm going to enjoy watching this concert for a while. Great performance, lots of energy. It would be cool if they toured America. Maybe on a bill with Foo Fighters, if they carry on, sorry to hear about the loss. Maybe another good English band could be on the bill. I don't know many. I like Teenage Fan Club, the Verve, I don't know, Super Grass. Just dreaming. Anyone have suggestions?
This was when everyone could let loose and have fun pogoing. Now everyone has to stand perfectly still, hold their arm up to block the vision of the people in back and film everything on their phone like they are Steven Spielberg. Now, concertgoers also have to take continuous selfies throughout the show to remind themselves of how important they think they are.

Spot on. After he left their songs weren't as good anymore. Great performance here, but I think their show at Woodstock 1999 was their best

to be honest this band is not for everyone 😐😐
And good question bro hahah

Swallowed is a piece of classical Grunge. Etalon
You can see the difference in crowds back in 97 compared to 2022.
God the 90's were excellent... good times. Everything Zen.
The machinehead riff will always give me chills

Bush live back then was so awesome
I must say BUSH was really good live, perfect performances

A Tendency To Start Fires - Lyrics
Strange zoo, strange blaze
Douse my head in flames
Coming through got to get some
Happiness is a bad son
Forceps, kitchen tools
Deconstruct your every move
Feels better when you're here
Guillotine just got here
Back bend, back break
Please yourself to make it rate
Live it all at your own cost
So many just got lost
Leaning to fire
Leaning to fire
Leaning to fire
Here's tomorrow man
Best of my ability
Chasing what I can
Here's tomorrow man
Instinct, bare boned
Light it up, take it home
You will be all things
You'll get what you bring
Leaning to fire
Leaning to fire
Leaning to fire
Here's tomorrow man
Best of my civility
Chasing what I can
Here's tomorrow man
Best of my ability
Chasing water cans
Here's tomorrow man
Here's tomorrow man
With our own tongue
With our own tongues
Here's tomorrow man
Best of my ability
Chasing what I can
Here's tomorrow man
And I'll set you free
Chasing what I can
Here's tomorrow man
Here's tomorrow man
Here's tomorrow man
Here's tomorrow man
