- If you ever want to have good steak in Manila, BGC, Raging Bull Chophouse & Bar is the place to go!
This was the second restaurant we tried in BGC, and it was for my husband’s birthday.
The restaurant is located in Shangri-La, on the second level.
The ambience of the whole place was dark, moody and quiet. There’s a good space between tables thus you won’t feel crowded though the place is filled with tables. I like that they seated us in a small alcove, away from the main dining area thus it was quiet and we could have our own conversations. However because of this, it was a little hard trying to get the attention of the servers since they moved around the main dining area, more. But nevertheless, service provided was still attentive. As the restaurant is located in a hotel, dress code is smart casual.

We love steak and we’ve been to many steak restaurants in Singapore however this is the first time we’ve come across having to select a steak knife. The server was kind enough to provide a short introduction of each knife and share his recommendations for both my husband and I. The food was served promptly and time was given in between each course for us to finish to ensure the table was not overcrowded with plates and bowls.

We had dinner on a Friday and I would suggest that you call to make reservations (it is always a safety-net for me, in case we don’t get seats or we have to wait for an insane amount of time.

Looks like a great 👍🏻 place. The crab cakes looks legit 👍🏻. Steaks is grilled well too! ☹️☹️ too bad my trip to Manila did not happen.
