I was driving 1300 km one year with a bottle of wine in the backseat, it froze and burst and I didn't notice at all, when I got home my wife was laughing saying I smelled of booze, lucky I didn't get pulled over on that trip

Randy definitely get that Volvo S80! That’s the P3 generation S80 which ran from 2007-2016 and I owned a 2009 S80 with the 4.4L Yamaha V8. I absolutely loved that car. It sounded so good with the muffler delete and with 320hp and AWD it was decently quick. Those S80’s are so smooth and ride super nice. Those are my favorite Volvo’s by far. I also owned a 2004 V70R, but I actually enjoyed my V8 S80 more!

Qx56 👍🏼👍🏼 I have a 2022 y62 patrol with the 5.6 v8 it’s a beautiful car, never have I seen one with an interior that rough, only the real early 2012-2015 had timing chain issues..

randy, as i’m sure you know…the 1,500 dollar taillights aren’t on every f150. the 1,500 dollar ones are only on the trucks with blis….they are the blind spot integrated ones. just like the rest….great video, keep it up.

I bought the Volvo S90 T6 Inscription and oh my! Not only is it luxurious…it’s got a supercharger and a turbo charger. I didn’t even know that’s a thing! Get pull for a full size luxury sedan. Volvo is on point

Randy, I would avoid that QX56. I had one with the exact same idle issue and it was the head damaged by the HPFP. Exact same symptoms as what you are seeing. I was quoted $20k for an engine installed at the dealer and a private shop. The 5.6 V8 has some big issues with the direct injection once you pass 100k miles. A tune up probably won't fix it.
Good to know... my Focus ST acted similarly, and anxiety was high since they're known for blowing head gaskets... luckily mine was just bad spark plugs. What a relief 😮💨

yes, when you turned the amparound, the corner of the amp bumped it, and that made it pop.
That exploding soda can could have been a lot worse. You open the door, and the windshield explodes. When he cheated on his wife, she got revenge by emptying the trash container inside his car. There's probably a Repo Notice buried somewhere in that trash. 30:06 OMG, you found me another cigarette, and it looks in great shape. Low puffs, too.

I had a can just explode from sun heat before. I found it in my car and when I picked it up, the motion of lifting shook it just enough that the pressure pushed the top of the can off. It rocketed out of my hand and I was covered in hot soda.

I owned one of those older P3 S80s and I think if you really want one you should look for a t6 because the 3.2 is inferior in every way to the 3.0t in the T6. The T6 has 300hp and a very linear power band with 0 turbo lag, negligible difference in gas mileage, more reliable doesn't have the oil consumption issues of the 3.2 and are around the same price.

You probably were feeling torque steer. Volvo's AWD is 100% FWD until it detects one of the front wheels slipping, then it engages AWD. The older models would spin the front tires 1/4 turn before engaging, but newer ones are almost instantaneous.

People need to stop hating on Randy for liking or not liking a certain car. Volvo’s aren’t for everyone. Volvo and Saab are middle of the road cars, either you like them or you don’t. Another example, my first car was a 1980 Ford Pinto, light blue with a 4 on the floor. I was the coolest kid in high school! (At least I thought) 1990 was a weird time. Anyway, Pinto’s aren’t for everyone either!!!!

@@haskellburks the rims, the obnoxious wing, the front diffuser, the mess on the inside of a front wheel drive economy car along with the apparent lack of care all conspire to make the car a heap. All signs that the car has likely been abused.
And no, I have not purchased a car I had to immediately clean out. If the owner treated their car like a dump , that's a pretty good sign they probably didn't properly take care of it.

That infinity more in likely has a clogged catalytic converter its common on them 5.6l v8s that Nissan makes. Its a good motor take a gamble on it.
Yeah and sometimes the clogged cats cause the engines to grenade, I just avoid them they aren't worth the headache
