Hey Joel, I just did a shout out to you in my last video. I was in Khon Kaen Thailand and my Thai Wife remembered a restaurant from one of your videos. They LOVE you over there. So of course, we had to eat there and the family had so many great things to say about you and "your friend from England".
That is SOOOO awesome! AMAZING, I immediately went and watched that, oh wow... Robert. Truly happy with this man, what a good good day... (now Im writing on your video) Have a great day, safe trip back home to Udon!!
@@JoelsTastyRide To me, the most amazing thing is how much my own Thai wife LOVES your videos. In my video, you can see how quickly she recognizes this restaurant from your video. Then, I edited it out, but it almost sounded like she yelled into the restaurant "Did Joel come here?". They looked at each other shocked and then were like. oh yes yes. He has come here several times. Was so funny and cool. Truth be told, we were going to go to McDonalds before this happened. So happy we didn't, this was way better. Thanks for all the good you do!

I read somewhere that Thailand is the number 1 exporter of hibiscus (roselle) but I’ve not seen it a lot there. In the Americas/ Caribbean it’s more commonly known as sorrel. Usually spices are added....Rum can also be added 😁
Thanks for the info Penny, I gotta check on that, but YES! - I remember the sorrel is so popular in Jamaica, using it for some awesome drink mixes and creations as well. Thats awesome, thank you for reminding me :) (haha, "Rum can also be added")
Thanks again my dear friend for another great video filled with mouth watering dishes 🤤🤤 the drink you had was like hibiscus flower tea sooo yummy and super healthy as well, awesome diuretic. Great way to get my coffee fix along with my protein.... thanks for sharing your time with your friend have a blessed day

Thailand is another heaven for cuisine & street food lovers. I like “Pad Pong Karee” as well. Thank you for lovely videos & being YOU. Please keep up! :)
Roselle is native to South and South-East Asia, and probably parts of Africa too (all the way from the Indian subcontinent to all of South-East Asia -- the leaves as well as the flowers are popular throughout much of India, e.g.). Thailand also has uses for both the flower and the leaves -- "Thai Food" by David Thomson lists it among the herbs used in Thai cooking.

Joel, I love the way you teach how to order..using the correct Thai pronunciation. I found an authentic Thai restaurant here in Fredericksburg, TX. that make the food you feature in your and Marks videos, Thai style. You just have to give them a heads up the day before you arrive. I get to enjoy it tonight. Our friends are taking us out tonight for our 11th wedding anniversary. Thank you Joel for your awesome videos!
Woww Joel your Thai language is superb. I guessed this place may open a few year. I never heard of it. I miss my hometown but can’t come back at this time yet! Thanks you for vdo

Hahah Eugenio ;) amazing, very happy to hear that!! Yes I’ve thought for a long time that waking up at 430-5am, breakfast and then exercise from 6-9am, then having lunch at 10am is just the perfect morning schedule for Thailand!
Joel Bruner I don't know if you remember that i told you i go to Huen Pen in Chiangmai only between 1030-11am when the old ladies have cooked everything on display--- you have just confirmed and given the term"The Golden Time"
great schedule.... great life outlook... living well and eating well...!!!
Wow ! Joel awesome "smell a vision cheers " the steam going into the camera I could almost smell it. Thanks for helping us how to order. The food looks so delicious I get hungry every night watching your vids. I watch your vids over and over, for surely 1 every night. It's a blessing having you and Mark to watch nightly before sleep. Makes good dreams
God bless and be safe

Joel, I love the way you teach how to order..using the correct Thai pronunciation.
I found an authentic Thai restaurant here in Fredericksburg, TX. that make the food you feature in your and Marks videos, Thai style.
You just have to give them a heads up the day before you arrive.
I get to enjoy it tonight.
Our friends are taking us out tonight for our 11th wedding anniversary.
Thank you Joel for your awesome videos!
I love this style of ordering. Very similar here in the Philippines

Thai food is full of herbs, very aromatic and tasty!
You are most Welcome Joel. God is good. And may the good Lord protect and keep you safe always.
I never realized until this episode how similar you sound to Mark. Your passion and enthusiasm is infectious 😁
I think Joel speaks way better thai than Mark and he can read thai as well
dean I meant the way they sound in English, though.
I have noticed the same, Tim. They hang out so much together, I think it’s inevitable. They are both so infectious!
what a great video!! thanks for teaching and giving tips!!! i'll have to rewatch a few times to try to remember those thai phrases and food names!!! haha especially the "i eat spicy" one... you'll have to teach me how to say "i want it extra extra spicy!"hehehe... i'm totally gonna have to ask you so much stuff when i'm finally there... sigh the travel dates keep getting pushed further and further back!! hehe.... sad i missed the live stream!! hopefully i can catch the next one!!! have a great week!!! excited for what the next video will be!!!
