They're like 18 dude. I don't think i've ever met an 18 year old that is particularly mature. They might think they are and they might speak as if they are but their actions often show the opposite.
Sharnice If ypu watch similar videos with adults it's mostly about appearance too. South Korea is just a society that is currently extremely focused on appearance/beauty. But most humans in the world are and always have been obsessed with appearance so
Korea is super imaged obsessed, a large part of the population gets plastic surgery before entering the workforce, and there are lots of companies that require a photo with applications. That's all they know and they don't pretend to care about personality etc. I mean, that one girl literally said she would hope her bf doesn't wear black shoes?? I mean what does a person do with that lmao
I don't know why they keep asking stupid questions like this. Love should be based on chemistry between two people rather than what race he/she is and their skin color.
Like what lol. Don't take this too seriously. What they were describing was their ideal type of foreigner but it shouldn't really be and over generalisation of what they want in a realationship
It's a stupid question in general. The question isn't something like, "What do you find attractive on a person?" or "What's your ideal type?" The question is, "Would you date a foreigner and what you do find attractive on them or what do you prefer that foreigner to look like?" It's like who cares if you date a foreigner or not. It's like if a Mexican interviewer asked me, "Would you date a Mexican?" Like obviously, I'll date that person if I found her attractive and we matched well enough. No one is obligated to date outside their race if they don't want to nor are they obligated to date ONLY within their ethnic group as well.
that's sweet and all but seriously, at the end of the day the majority believes that looks matter regardless of whether or not their personalities match
@@minonne2173 Yes, I understand but I CA guarantee they base most of their opinions of central media, and most of the time that's what it is. I hate it, buts it's the harsh reality.

nai. Im from north africa and im pale and my veins are visible and green like the most of moroccans tbh. Except if you were tan or black the color of your veins wont show.
I was watching this video to see if they say that western girls are more open minded, what they usually mean by that is the sexual aspect, so to all the new kpop fans don’t be fooled
i can imagine why most korean boys would think that way about foreign girls since kpop is now trending and popular in the western world. in my opinion, it doesnt matter where they are from unless the personality is like similar to me aka childish at most times or something and caring and all that then yeah why not. Personality is key no matter how they look like bc looks do not matter at the end of the day so might as well stop comparing and stuff. And yes most of you are brainwashed by idols and kdramas as we have been influenced but we should take this to an account that it is real life we are talking about.....
It’s kind of annoying when girls like Korean boys because of K-pop. Like have you see Chinese boys? Have you seeeeen Thai boys? Don’t say Korean boys are the most handsome 😂 it’s like saying American boys are all handsome. Also you should like a person’s personality not just looks.
fun, yeah tell that to my boyfriend who's gonna have to introduce me to his parents one week from now lmao edit: also I'm surprised no one reacted on the "you can lie to her she wouldn't know" part, I mean he's saying on a joking tone but it's sad the thought even crossed his mind
pfff, even if Sivan is straight... she would have more chances to date him?))) like lol that's funny))) so who cares if he's straight or gay? If she has a crush on him it doesnt mean she wants to marry him.))) Gay guys often have a crush on straight celebrities, but who cares? Why not?)) It's just a crush))
Channels like this can be so eyeopening... Koreans are very aware of foreigners being interested in them and some can fetishise foreign/western culture the way koreaboos do it with their country (i'm not saying that the people in the video were fetishising foreign countries, they were very honest and had some knowledge) It's funny to see that people around the world have different stereotypes and thoughts about foreigners and foreigners in relationships, for example, "they look similar". I laughed so hard because this is what most people in the west think of Asians! Great video
Majgie I think it's mainly a racial difference. People can usually distinguish individuals from their own races more easily than from other races, especially before getting to know someone.
Nooo, babies, kpop isn't the only reason foreign girls are interested! Well...maybe that's a big part of it NOW, but ever since I was 8 years old and fell for the Korean boy in my class, I've had a thing. I'm not even really sure why; just something about their features that I am drawn to. There are those of us out there that love Asian men without needing a reason 💜 That goes for all types of men! I love you all!
Ok imma get really triggered now.. lemme clarify the term koreaboo bc all of you are seeming to blur the lines a bit: 1st of all having a certain preference for a race ISNT cringeworthy or being a ‘-boo’ it’s actively seeking those races to date is what’s messed up regardless of personality, secondly if one likes pop music from America would that make them an americaboo? Please educate yourself more on these terms bc y’all wouldn’t be here if you weren’t exposed to one bit of the hallyu wave 🌊 so would that make all of us koreaboos? Please go watch Ambietv’s video on this bc I think it addresses some key 🔑 issues behind the word koreaboo.
I originally watched Korean/Asian dramas which got me into kpop and the combination of the two is really what started to catch my eye when it came to Asian guys. However I don't like Korean guys with the expectation of them being like a kpop star. I think your features are handsome but I also love the language, food and how different the Korean culture is from my own. It was nice to learn about someplace new. I hope to visit one day too.
Dong Ha is so chill, I love him👌🏽❤️ he’s got a better understanding of life than I expected. I’m into Kpop but I like people no matter where they are from.
I would personally feel really awkward if I was to date a Korean person because I like Kpop. When we first started talking my friend asked me to call him oppa because he's older and because of Koreaboos I can't describe how uncomfortable I felt at first even tho it's a part of their culture. Because of the image Koreaboos created I feel self-conscious about everything I say about Korea or Koreans. Three years ago I first heard about Kpop and the music was fun for me because I'm a dancer and Kpop has a lot of dancing elements. I fell in love with the language and have been learning it ever since. I started learning about Korean culture and found out about how beautiful the country itself is. I just cringe sometimes when I think someone might put me in the same box with Koreaboos:)
I like how they are very open minded about it. I personally would like to date not necessarily a Korean guy but just in general an Asian guy cuz they are kind and sweet unlike these trashy dudes in the states but I think it will be hard since I'm Mexican but idk
Rociorafael97 girl you prob are young and haven't experienced a lot, but trust me. There are tons and tons of trashy korean guys too. Don't live in that Kpop world. In fact. Lots have been abusive, many korean woman will even tell you this. There are bad and good with everything.
southeast asian men are generally more caring, showy, and funny too. but i admit, there's shitty men everywhere in the world. just be open to anyone i guess. 😄 and p.s just put yourself out there, you won't struggle just because you're mexican. everyone is beautiful and is free to love. if they don't like you just bc you're mexican, then they don't deserve you, best wishes
ethnicity doesnt matter, parenting and childhood plays a major role on the guys morals. we are all human anyways, we base our personality off of our personal experiences and the way we treat others. every guy is the same yet emotionally different.
When I’m older I wouldn’t mind moving or travelling to South Korea but I’ve always been scared that people there may not accept me cus I’m a foreigner but after watching this video I’m not as worried or afraid any more
The black haired guy is just Soo beautiful and it hurts to know that most of foreign girls are interested in korean guys just because of kpop. I'd say because they have a different mentality, culture and so much more that I'd like to discover
Just bc someone is into Kpop or kdramas doesn't automatically mean they have fetishes for Korean ppl. One thing I hate the most about being into Kpop is that most ppl assume we are koreaboos, it's normal to find ppl attractive but thinking someone is attractive just because they are Korean is where the problem begins but I completely agree with the guy on the left.
Welll that was interesting,, Humans tend to be interest in the things that they are not familiar with, so I can see why they seem really exited to talk about this topic when South Korea doesn't have a lot of foreigners. I would like to just correct 3 things, as a girl living in France : 1) "foreigners all look the same" I can understand to some extent why he said that. It's hard to differenciate people that you aren't used to see: your brain needs to interiorize(?) some informations and it takes quite a lot of time before it works ! I had the same "problem" with asian people. 2) "it would be easy to lie to them" Well, if you are thinking about lying to a girl, then you aren't thinking about getting a proper relationship with her. 3) "it would be hard because of the language barrier" Okay so, lets be honest right here haha, before going out with someone, you are in a friendly relationship right? Then you have communication right here. A couple without love won't even try to communicate so it won't last long. If their is really love, then both sides will do their best to understand the other by learning the other's language. Everyone should be equal in a relationship and I don't see why only one side should go to the other. It was a funny video and I hope that these guys don't think about any girl has their possession. Ps : to the girls, boys don't have any manner in the whole world hahaha or if they have some, that's because they want to get something from you (your body). Don't get fooled by stereotypes ! Haha I would like to see them talk about lgbt+ community maybe? Just to take a peek on how the young generation think about it! :)
For me it's because you Korean boys are sooo sweet and act mature for your age and can joke around at the wright moment and can sometimes be really sincere
I'm ethnically Korean but I grew up in Canada and my boyfriend is Canadian-Swiss and honestly, it's awesome. You get to experience your partner's culture and language and maybe travel to their country. If you have the opportunity, you should definitely become friends/more than with a foreign person.
Celine Ko they most likely won’t lmao. this channel is centered around koreans, and koreans are all the craze rn because of kpop. which is why all of these “would koreans date foreigners?/koreans on dating foreigners” videos are coming out. i honestly hope they stop with these videos bc as interesting as these are to watch, what’s not so interesting are the comments of girls complaining that they’re too close-minded and that they should stop worshipping pale skin.
Im genuinely attracted to anyone i really love kpop but you shouldnt go out with a korean guy cause of it and some comments say "YOU SHOULDNT GO OUY WITH A KOREAN GUY BECAUSE THEY MAY LOOK LIKE YOUR FAV KPOP IDOL" and i agree thats really mest up and really mean
My oppa is just so dreamy, kind and very respectful. Very different from my Filipino exes before. I don't know if all koreans are the same with my oppa. But I am just so blessed to know him and love him♡
wow that Guy mentioned India and said that We know a lot about kpop and Korea.... I am crying... I mean, Literally There was a time when I was the only one in my school who knew kpop but now everyone knows about kpop and BTS... 💜💜🇮🇳🇮🇳

I’d totally date a Korean guy/girl! Not why you’re thinking, but because Korean food is bomb 👌 I need a korean boyfriend/girlfriend to cook Korean food 😂 😂
Personal experience, I didnt know what kpop was until 2012, but I already liked koreans way before then. Simply due to the fact that my Godfather and his family were full blooded koreans, and super close to my mother while she was in high school, even before groups like h.o.t, g.o.d and sechkies were formed. So, it honestly depends on the person and how they were also brought up that could influence how that person is attracted to another.
My first school crush was a Vietnamese boy in Kindergarten. I crushed on him from Kindergarten all the way through to our senior year of high school. Sadly, he wasn't allowed to date white girls☹.
its really fine to be honest. im currently dating a korean guy now and he is so kind and never gets tired of my foul personality. wish me luck with him :)
i was triggered when they said foreigners look alike lol but i guess they haven't actually had a lot of contact with foreigners cuz tbh when i got into kpop, kdrama, korean culture , korean beauty at first i thought the same thing about koreans but that was 3 years ago, and now i'm triggered when someone says to me "all asians look alike" lol btw i'm european , also what's with the difficulty to learn English, and i'm not talking about if they think the language is difficult, it's like in general they refuse to learn it, and i see this in some dramas, or interviews , or on some korean youtuber's channels, is like they really don't know any languages besides korean, and i know is not like that for everyone but c'mon is a universal language u could at least learn the basics idk, in Europe most of us know at least 2 other languages besides our native , so for me -eng and french and i will start learning korean soon, but i know koreans and maybe other asians, are a bit narrow-minded i just hope they could be more open
Americans are the same, they refuse to learn amother language, but the difference is, some expect everyone there to speak it or else they get uspet with you. I feel like it should be mandatory to know 2 languages, at least one close to the one you already know.
@@homebodydev is not that, everyone lives mostly in a homogeneous country, but the majority of the world knows english and a second language, even if we take countries from Asia like the Philippines for example I know a lot of people that speak English , but when it comes to Koreans or chinese they seem to be absolutely intimidated by the language and just refuse to learn if it's not required
@@homebodydev also a lot of foreigners go to Korea to study or just moved there and although they know korean or study the language at the moment most of them experience the fact that Koreans don't really know english, excluding the ones who are korean-americans
Alina Kraleva yeah but that’s my point the amount foreigners in Korea isn’t enough for them to learn and look at the countries they’re surrounded by. None of them use English as a first language. Which means their need to learn it decreases. While most don’t know English they might know Japanese instead.
The one on the left kind of describes me, he's very calm and is not the type of person that wouldn't discriminate others. I like the fact that he's opened minded he doesn't present himself a picky person, although I'm 14 he seems like a very nice person to hangout with if I was older.😌🙂
I can't see any so wtf are you talking about? A Kboo is extremely cringey and obsessed with Korea. These people here are just kpop fans so stop spreading wrong information if you don't have any clue what Kboo really means
I'm actually surprised over how little some of them know about other countries, like what we have and don't have. f.ex.. We have kimchi in Norway. Small stores run by families from a different country is actually pretty normal here in northern Europe. I have an asian store not far from my house and I can get a lot of food there that you would normally find in Asian countries. We also have stores run by families from the middle east, so on so forth. There's also saunas here, maybe not like they're used too, but we do have saunas hahaha
What I find cringy is that dude at 0:45 was talking about foreign koreaboos fetishing over him. Bruh I love kpop, but befriending him just because he's asian makes me a little... uncomfortable.
In Japan and other Asian countries you literally get people who date others if they're foreigners... That's not different than in Western countries like yellow fever (though yellow fever mainly applies to female Asians) but nowadays the popular fetish is over mixed race, preferably those of African and Caucasians mix with coloured eyes.
The boy on the left is so open minded. I like his personality.

They're like 18 dude. I don't think i've ever met an 18 year old that is particularly mature. They might think they are and they might speak as if they are but their actions often show the opposite.
same. Only guy on the left seemed open minded and mature.
Sharnice If ypu watch similar videos with adults it's mostly about appearance too. South Korea is just a society that is currently extremely focused on appearance/beauty. But most humans in the world are and always have been obsessed with appearance so
@@meridesiree7940 i can not dispute that you are right
Korea is super imaged obsessed, a large part of the population gets plastic surgery before entering the workforce, and there are lots of companies that require a photo with applications. That's all they know and they don't pretend to care about personality etc. I mean, that one girl literally said she would hope her bf doesn't wear black shoes?? I mean what does a person do with that lmao

What I don't like is some girls tend to fetishize Korean men because they are so in love with their oppas or what ever.

@@putsomerespeckonmaname540 that tea is hot ☕☕
HAHAHAHA true
But lots of people aren't open the dating out their race so maybe people were curious if they were open
that's sweet and all but seriously, at the end of the day the majority believes that looks matter regardless of whether or not their personalities match
@@minonne2173 Yes, I understand but I CA guarantee they base most of their opinions of central media, and most of the time that's what it is. I hate it, buts it's the harsh reality.

cool. i just find him saying he likes a girl who’s veins are “green and visible” is weird to say. just leave it at pale skin my guy... 😭
my veins are so visible its kinda uncomfortable lmao
which means your more prone to spider veins
Tahsin Rahman I'm fine with any personality, as long as he's virtuous and I can be all of myself around him.
YALL I WAS SO EMBARRASED WHEN THOSE GUYS WERE TALKING ABT HOW GIRLS WHO LIKE KPOP LIKE KOREAN MEN THIS AINT IT 💀💀💀
Right 😂
It’s kind of annoying when girls like Korean boys because of K-pop. Like have you see Chinese boys? Have you seeeeen Thai boys? Don’t say Korean boys are the most handsome 😂 it’s like saying American boys are all handsome. Also you should like a person’s personality not just looks.
And some Chinese or Thai boys are also in Kpop groups.

Yeah and then they usually date one and it’s the complete opposite of what they expect. (I’ve watched a lot of Foreign girl in Korea videos lmao)
It's sad that some ppl date koreans just bc they want a replacement for idols
That's legit the same reason why most Asian girl would date any white guy

"What's your ideal foreign type"

Channels like this can be so eyeopening... Koreans are very aware of foreigners being interested in them and some can fetishise foreign/western culture the way koreaboos do it with their country (i'm not saying that the people in the video were fetishising foreign countries, they were very honest and had some knowledge)
It's funny to see that people around the world have different stereotypes and thoughts about foreigners and foreigners in relationships, for example, "they look similar". I laughed so hard because this is what most people in the west think of Asians! Great video
1:34
he said: they look similar
I said: BITCH WHERE
Some westerners do look similar
all races look "similar", bc, you know, we're all inbred from generations and have certain features bc thats how genealogy works
dnsoulx I know I know, the vine just popped up in my head so I had to comment it😅

Majgie I think it's mainly a racial difference. People can usually distinguish individuals from their own races more easily than from other races, especially before getting to know someone.
I just love how the guy on the left just randomly said he visited India the day before. Lol
"They're all the same" *that's how we feel about you*
Lol triggered? 😂
Haru Yanto it’s true
I like how the guy said we are all the same, because I feel like some girls are too obsessed with Korean guys.
wow those girls know Mafumafu ^^
He's such a talented musician & composer who deserves more international recognition T_T
👏THANK👏YOU👏!!!!👏
I originally watched Korean/Asian dramas which got me into kpop and the combination of the two is really what started to catch my eye when it came to Asian guys. However I don't like Korean guys with the expectation of them being like a kpop star. I think your features are handsome but I also love the language, food and how different the Korean culture is from my own. It was nice to learn about someplace new. I hope to visit one day too.

I heard Mafumafu's name!! 😍😍😍😍 awwww, my cinnamon baby is already go-international! I'm so proud of him!!! 😍😍😍
She said "not necessarily a Korean guy..." meaning that it doesn't absolutely have to be a Korean guy. Just as long as he's Asian.
southeast asian men are generally more caring, showy, and funny too. but i admit, there's shitty men everywhere in the world. just be open to anyone i guess. 😄
and p.s
just put yourself out there, you won't struggle just because you're mexican. everyone is beautiful and is free to love. if they don't like you just bc you're mexican, then they don't deserve you, best wishes
ethnicity doesnt matter, parenting and childhood plays a major role on the guys morals. we are all human anyways, we base our personality off of our personal experiences and the way we treat others. every guy is the same yet emotionally different.
lmaooo this is a huge generalization ive met lots of shitty guys who were asian (same for any other race).
When I’m older I wouldn’t mind moving or travelling to South Korea but I’ve always been scared that people there may not accept me cus I’m a foreigner but after watching this video I’m not as worried or afraid any more
OMG!!!! They know Mafumafu ;v;
I love how they are so open about it & the guy in the left was so real !
They seem so open to the idea :)
The black haired guy is just Soo beautiful and it hurts to know that most of foreign girls are interested in korean guys just because of kpop. I'd say because they have a different mentality, culture and so much more that I'd like to discover
Keep these videos coming...I love these questions ❤👌
Just bc someone is into Kpop or kdramas doesn't automatically mean they have fetishes for Korean ppl. One thing I hate the most about being into Kpop is that most ppl assume we are koreaboos, it's normal to find ppl attractive but thinking someone is attractive just because they are Korean is where the problem begins but I completely agree with the guy on the left.
Welll that was interesting,,
Humans tend to be interest in the things that they are not familiar with, so I can see why they seem really exited to talk about this topic when South Korea doesn't have a lot of foreigners.
I would like to just correct 3 things, as a girl living in France :
1) "foreigners all look the same"
I can understand to some extent why he said that. It's hard to differenciate people that you aren't used to see: your brain needs to interiorize(?) some informations and it takes quite a lot of time before it works ! I had the same "problem" with asian people.
2) "it would be easy to lie to them"
Well, if you are thinking about lying to a girl, then you aren't thinking about getting a proper relationship with her.
3) "it would be hard because of the language barrier"
Okay so, lets be honest right here haha, before going out with someone, you are in a friendly relationship right? Then you have communication right here. A couple without love won't even try to communicate so it won't last long. If their is really love, then both sides will do their best to understand the other by learning the other's language. Everyone should be equal in a relationship and I don't see why only one side should go to the other.
It was a funny video and I hope that these guys don't think about any girl has their possession.
Ps : to the girls, boys don't have any manner in the whole world hahaha or if they have some, that's because they want to get something from you (your body). Don't get fooled by stereotypes ! Haha
I would like to see them talk about lgbt+ community maybe? Just to take a peek on how the young generation think about it! :)
koreans exposing koreaboos is my favourite thing ever.

I'm ethnically Korean but I grew up in Canada and my boyfriend is Canadian-Swiss and honestly, it's awesome. You get to experience your partner's culture and language and maybe travel to their country. If you have the opportunity, you should definitely become friends/more than with a foreign person.

Sadly, he wasn't allowed to date white girls☹.

i was triggered when they said foreigners look alike lol but i guess they haven't actually had a lot of contact with foreigners cuz tbh when i got into kpop, kdrama, korean culture , korean beauty at first i thought the same thing about koreans but that was 3 years ago, and now i'm triggered when someone says to me "all asians look alike" lol btw i'm european , also what's with the difficulty to learn English, and i'm not talking about if they think the language is difficult, it's like in general they refuse to learn it, and i see this in some dramas, or interviews , or on some korean youtuber's channels, is like they really don't know any languages besides korean, and i know is not like that for everyone but c'mon is a universal language u could at least learn the basics idk, in Europe most of us know at least 2 other languages besides our native , so for me -eng and french and i will start learning korean soon, but i know koreans and maybe other asians, are a bit narrow-minded i just hope they could be more open
Alina Kraleva I mean they do live in a homogeneous country....
So many koreaboos in the comments 😂

Guy: I like short girls with tan skin and short hair.
Me: runs to korea
I'm actually surprised over how little some of them know about other countries, like what we have and don't have. f.ex.. We have kimchi in Norway. Small stores run by families from a different country is actually pretty normal here in northern Europe. I have an asian store not far from my house and I can get a lot of food there that you would normally find in Asian countries. We also have stores run by families from the middle east, so on so forth. There's also saunas here, maybe not like they're used too, but we do have saunas hahaha
Guy on the left says he likes tanned skin with short hair-you can just tell he’s the most open minded
